Description of Work: They fixed two leaking faucets and installed shut off valves. Also installed new kitchen faucet. They came to the house the day I called them; just hours after my call. They were courteous, did a great job and cleaned up after they were done. I would strongly recommend them before. I've used them several times and was happy each time.

Description of Work: We had a toilet that stopped up that didn't empty with regular plumbing, so we needed plumbing service with an auger. He unstopped the toilet and tested it.

Description of Work: Leak in a pipe inside a wall between bathroom and dining area. The plumber responded quickly and was pleasant and polite. He needed to locate the leak and unfortunately made several exploratory holes in the wall with his hammer. When he was unable to isolate the leak that way, he pulled off the wainscoting in a way that damaged it beyond reuse. All the "exploration" ended up costing an additional chunk of money that could have been avoided with a little more care in the rip out of materials. Once the leak was identified, the work was done quickly and the plumber also cleaned up following the work.

Description of Work: A-Z Plumbing took care of all our plumbing needs for the five years that I lived in cleveland. We lived in an old Shaker Heights house. I mostly dealt with Ethan Ben-Avi, the owner. He was immediately responsive to all calls. His prices were very good. He is the most knowledgeable plumber I have ever used (and I have been calling plumbers for many years). Among the services A-Z performed for us were: - after basement flood, diagnosed problem with camera (tree branches in old clay pipes), installed new cleanout - performed regular cleanouts and snaked downspouts to prevent problem from recurring - fixed leaky faucets and running toilets - unclogged sink and tub drains (old plumbing is tricky to unclog, because it is fragile) - provided advice over the phone free of charge many times I have not yet sold my home in Cleveland and will use A-Z for any plumbing issues that arise until the house is sold. I have yet to find a plumber here in Kansas City who is as knowledgeable as Ethan and whom I trust to advise me on plumbing issues. One more thing: Ethan is extremely good at explaining different options for addressing a particular problem, and the pros and cons of each option.
