We got them off of Angie's list. It was a good experience. Victor and the crew that did the work were wonderful. They went over and above our expectations.

Victor is a great salesman! Victor personally came out to provide us with the assessment of our roof and was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and informative, with a very enjoyable personality. We received vibes that he was an honest person. He went on the roof the first day he came out and took pictures. The pictures were great because I would never have known what our roof looks like. He was able to show us the problem areas and what would need to be done. He also went into the attic to let us know if there were any issues there to be concerned about...more pictures! He was professional, pressure free, and patient with all our many questions. We asked him how many crew members would be on site and he didn't hesitate and said 13. That was a clincher for us as the number 13 is dear to our hearts. We knew then we were making the right decision in going with Victor's Roofing. Installation day went as planned and his team was awesome. Victor came out to make sure everything was ready to go. His team did a great job and everyone was pleasant and friendly. It was the best experience we have had with a contractor. Kudo's to the entire team! PS...Victor also emailed us before and after pictures....it was great to be able to see the changes and the work that was done. We also liked that this is a family business and that they all work together in different aspects of the project. This and the conversations we had with Victor showed that they are family oriented and have a strong family bond. We also liked the reviews we saw on Angie's list from other customers. Victor was very proud of the rating he has accomplished with all his customers on Angie's list. We are anxious to see how our roof and gutters perform during the raining season. Victor and his family have built a solid, professional reputation and we believe Victor will stand behind his work if we have any problems!

We had two leaks in our roof causing water to come into two bedrooms. The problem was identified quickly and repaired within a couple of hours! I could not have been more pleased!

It went very well. They found that I needed a new roof, which they went ahead and did. They were up on my roof from around sunrise to after sundown. They did an excellent job. The one thing they didn't do was give me a price for insulation in the roof until they had everything there. Then, I had sticker shock and accepted 1/3 of the price.

Victor called before coming out and came on time. He had a very professional manner and immediately got business evaluating my attic space and roof. He took pictures to show me what he found. In the end, I didn't need his services, but he did not leave me hanging. He referred me to an outfit he knew did excellent work and had good customer satisfaction. He was right on the mark. Thank you Victor! Last thoughts...I respect Victor's honesty and knowledge. He told me my roof was great, but I actually needed another service for the mold issue I was observing in my attic. If he couldn't fix it, he knew who could. The man has integrity and I respect that a lot. When and if I have I ever need my roof repaired/replaced, I will call Victor! I contacted 5 different roofing contractors that I found and were rated well on Angie's list. Each contractor's approach to quote varied greatly ranging from a 'drive by' evaluation/quote left in the mailbox to a full blown inspection. It was interesting that a couple contractors even insisted beforehand on 1-1.5 hours of my time to do a thorough measurement/inspection followed by a detailed consultation of the options, which turned out to be 15 minutes of measurements followed by a hard sales pitch. Victor's Roofing was the only contractor that actually climbed up on my roof to thoroughly inspect & evaluate, followed by inspection of the attic to look for water stains and the underlayment condition. Victor left his packet of information, as others did, but did not push a sales pitch. He merely showed us the different types of information in the packet, answered our initial questions, and assured us that he would be available to answer any follow up questions we might have after having a chance to digest everything. Another point that stood out for me was that Victor was very up-front and honest with us on the condition of our underlayment, which he felt was borderline, and detailed the additional cost up to a maximum that he anticipated from his inspection. Others overlooked this point and buried the cost of any underlayment needing replacement in the contract with per piece cost being much higher, one even added a per man hourly charge. Not necessary, but victor even sent us a card in the mail a couple of days later thanking us for the opportunity to quote and encouraging us to give him a call at any time if we had any questions. I had several questions over the next couple of weeks, and found victor to be very prompt, thorough, and honest with his call-backs. A couple of weeks later a 'warm enough' day was forecasted, so on my verbal go ahead Victor called, arranged materials delivery, and scheduled the job even before receiving the signed contract that I had mailed 2 days earlier. The job was completed quickly and thoroughly with no trace of shingles, nails or damage in the yard. Victor even offered to come back out to do an additional cleanup after the remaining snow melted, if we felt it was needed. The great news was that the decking was in good shape and only a couple of pieces needed to be replaced. Now, here is the kicker that truly made me realize that I had picked the right roofer. Early in our process, Victor and I discussed two similar colors for the shingles, rustic cedar was the original choice because it was closer to the color of my siding, but I later switched to rustic redwood, which was closer to the color of the trim. The two colors were very close and both worked well with the house so it didn't mater that much to me. However, when I came home to see the completed job I sent Victor a text letting him know "great job but wrong color". This is when I started to wonder how Victor might handle the situation, especially considering that the job was started even before he received the contract I had mailed him 2 days earlier. Well, he quickly sent me a text back saying "We are 100% at fault and what can I do to make this right?". He followed the text with a phone call explaining that he was a little lost because this had never happened before (which I believe), that he didn't know where the breakdown in communication happened (he did not blame his shingle vendor or his crew), and only wanted to make it right and make me happy. I truly believe that if I wanted him to strip and re-roof the house at his cost, he would have done that. Victors Roofing showed me more professional integrity than I have seen in a very long time. Thank you Victor, for having the skill set and values that you rarely see in today's world: THOROUGHNESS, HONESTY, PROMPTNESS, PRIDE & INTEGRITY. For those that have read my ramblings to this point, no, I am not related to Victor and had not heard of him or met him prior to a couple of months ago. And by the way, Victor's Roofing was the best price of the 5 contractors quoting. A++

It went very well. Victor's staff was very punctual and professional, courteous and respectful. The roof was completed in less than one day. It looks great! I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to others.

You can research and Google all contractors for your roof concerns to your heart's desire and you simply will not find anyone better for the job then Victor's roofing. I am beyond impressed and very very pleased of my experience with this company. Absolutely incredible. I might sound over the top... but it's refreshing to finally do business with a local contractor that keeps their promises, stays in constant contact, treats the customer like royalty and does a fantastic job at a reasonable price. If you find one of those, you'd rave too. Professionalism was over the top, so therefore so is my review. I plan to post this review on every review site I stumble across because Victor has earned and deserves these praises for all to read. MY EXPERIENCE WITH VICTOR'S ROOFING: Victor came out to look at my roof, very pleasant, very courteous. He climbed up with his iPad and took measurements and several photos of the issues and damage he found. Then with manners, soft sell professionalism and patience showed me why the photos concerned him and what he recommended. You might find it interesting that his recommendation was not the highest priced option. Nice. It was at that point after several questions and viewing his portfolio, I decided I'm going to use this company. Since this was an insurance claim due to bad weather, he asked a few questions that I couldn't recall from my insurance papers so it took me a few moments to locate them on my tablet. More then just a few moments. He sat there patiently and graciously as I stumbled around for the answers. There was no indication whatsoever he was in a hurry to get the heck out even though he already had a signed contact. Within days of our meeting, Victor had emailed, called and left a message and even a text confirmation thanking me for inviting him to the house. After that I received a handwritten thank you card with a gift card for a cup of coffee from Tim Horton. Very Nice. The day his crew arrived to roof was freezing rain and COLD! Victor notified me immediately that due to weather he would unable to finish in one day and asked if it would it be ok to finish tomorrow. Of course it would be okay, it's sleeting outside! (But had I said no, I suspect Victor would have had his crew stay to finish the job.) The following day, he finished as promised, fixed a minor issue I had with my gutters, and cleaned up the yard spotless. If I hadn't known a crew was there that very day, I would have never guessed this house had an hour old roof. Seriously. That's nice! The next day our area was hit with extremely strong winds. Record winds. Even stronger then the wind that damaged the roof to begin with. I was prepared to call Victor. I expected at least one shingle to become loose. The roof was perfect. And zero interior leaks. More than Nice! Great! In the following days I ran into some bothersome issues with my insurance company. Victor offered his assistance and called my claims adjustor and straightened everything out with one phone call. I received another handwritten thank you card, this time with an Outback Steaks gift card. After that I received a complimentary T shirt with Victor's logo and the lifetime warranty on the roof, his promise to do a checkup in a few years and to call him if I had any problems. Can you beat that? I don't think you'll be able to. End of story right? No. Again I ran into insurance problems. This time they want more paperwork and refuse to issue a check until they receive documentation of everything under the sun. Victor's check was going to be delayed. Not just a few days but possibly longer. At this point, I had no reason to think things were going to get nasty, but this is his livelihood so I thought we would discuss different ways he was going to be paid immediately. Nope. He completely understood that insurance companies are sometimes difficult and told me it would be no problem for me to pay him after I got things straightened out, even if it took a month. Does anyone think Mr.Roof would have been so understanding? I don't. Thanks Victor! Also, I received a lovely photo holiday card from Victor and his beautiful family during Christmas time. That's 100% class, folks. And very very nice.

Victor came out gave me advise and a choice. I will definitely use him when I decide to replace the roof, but for now I used the second choice it was cheaper. Nice man. His mother did a good job.

His father who is part of the crew has over 30 years of roofing including chimney issue experience. Victor answered my calls about any question right away. We highly recommend Victor's roofing. We needed new roofing on our 2200 sq foot two-story with attached garage this season, though were uncertain of how long we would be in the house. We looked at multiple roofers, and were pleased to find a local company with good reputation and price point (better than the competitors we contacted). Victor came to our house with several options, and several different cost options depending on the duration of the (transferable) warranty. He really seemed to have a passion for the job, and was very interested in providing quality product that would look good with our siding and brick. We went with his primary suggestion, and it turned out fantastic. His crew was showed up on time, and tarped the entire exterior before beginning. The crew completed the job (tear off, plywood repairs, and re-roof) in one day. With two younger daughters, I scoured the grounds for any debris, and found none. Excellent. We've gotten lots of complements from the neighbors on the appearance. We couldn't ask for much more. The owner and crew were professional, and this was a very clean job, completed on time, and reasonably priced for our needs. And it looks great. We're very pleased.

Other contractors could learn a thing or two about how Victor does business. He came out, quoted four different prices for the different types of material and even left product samples & reviews from Consumer Reports so I could make an educated decision. His crew showed up on time, got busy with the roof and cleaned up beautifully afterward. Victor also followed up to make sure everything was to my liking. Two thumbs up! If you need a roofer - look no further. Seriously.

I received call from Victor Smolyonov, the owner of Victors Roofing. He explained to me that the items I needed are outside the scope of coupon I purchased and he will provide a separate estimate for the work involved. He also asked me to get a refund for the coupon since it could not be applied to the items I needed. Overall, I liked the professional approach and I will definitely consider engaging Victors Roofing for any roofing jobs in future.

Excellent. We took bids from 6 companies for this work. Victors' price was within 5% of the lowest. His measurements were quite thorough, and his quote was very clear as to what was included and what was not. We chose a moderate upgrade that added about 10% to the overall bill. Schedule was kept exactly as planned, from start to finish. Materials were delivered the previous working day. The crew arrived on Monday morning just before 8. The new roof was installed before the end of the (short midwinter) day. Victors subcontracted the gutter installation, which was completed on the following day. The roof and gutters look flawless. In the plans, we had discussed minor changes to the gutters and downspouts from the existing layout, and these were effectively communicated to and implemented by the subcontractor. I may have an update after a couple of good, heavy rains. Cleanup afterward was complete: No extra bits of shingle, wood, or underlayment lying around, no nails, etc. Apart from the new installation, you would not be able to tell they had been there. No surprises on the invoice: The amount was exactly as agreed. Highly recommended.

We had a very, very good experience with Victors Roofing -- they were one of four contractors that we got an estimate from, and we liked them immediately. Victor was one of only 2 roofers that actually went up and walked the roof as part of the estimate (the other 2 inspected from the ground), and he was the only one who also went into the attic space. During the estimate, got lots of great information about the roofing job work and various aspects of this kind of project (we actually used some of this information to ask specific questions with the other contractor estimates), including ventilation and some issues specific to our roof. Also got some crucial info about financing options that proved very valuable to us. Victor was a pleasure to work with and very thorough during the estimate/contract process. Price point was right in middle of the pack of the four estimates that we obtained, very reasonable. We chose Victors over the others because we felt we were really getting a good company who was going to work hard and professionally for us, and who did not have any "red flags" that we had noticed. The roofing work was scheduled quickly and was possible to be done even in early December! They showed up on time early morning with a big crew, to make good on the promise that the entire tear-off and install would be a 1-day job. Work was completed as promised, and surprisingly did not have any "extra" charges or issues -- everything was done per specification. Victor called back a few days later to check in and confirm that we had no further issues since the install -- we didn't have any issues, only a few followup questions, which were answered. New roof looks great, and overall we're extremely happy that we chose Victors Roofing for this job! Highly recommended to anyone, cannot recommend them high enough to someone looking for a roofing company to work with.

Excellent! Victor was very professional. He took the time to take pictures and went over them with me on his tablet. He gave me a straight forward assessment and did not attempt to sell me anything. He also pointed out a mouse infestation in the area above our ceiling. I am very pleased.

From the start Victors Roofing was easy to work with. Victor (the owner) arrived on time to his estimating appointment, was willing to go up into the attic to confirm our current ventilation/insulation, and had satellite images for roofing size estimates. Prices were substantially better than other major roofing contractors using the same materials/brands. (Victor's company also offered more options for brands of material) Victor showed images of his crew in action and walked me through all of the steps his team would perform the day of the installation. Booked an installation day (and a back-up in case of bad weather) and the crew was there bright and early in the morning. Victor?s father Vladimir was the lead of the crew and was very nice to work with. It was a little hard to understand him but it was no trouble describing the location to install new bathroom vents in the roof. The team did a great job and our roof looks amazing. (they even installed additional venting systems under the boards for a reasonable price) They were able to complete the roof on our 2000+ sq ft colonial home in one day. The clean-up was good but they missed some of the plastic pieces and a few nails on the ground due to them finishing after it got dark. Before I could call Victor to express my concern, he called me back the next day and when I described the problem he apologized and sent his team back out to my house in the daylight to remedy the issue at no charge. I appreciated him following up and being willing to work with me on my concern. My experience with Victor?s roofing was excellent and I recommend anyone who needs a new roof to ask for an estimate and strongly consider going with Victor?s roofing.

I had called several companies for estimates. I cancelled the others after I talked to Victor. He was completely professional, open and honest when he came to our house. There was no hype, he wasn't pushy or aggressive and there was none of the usual high pressure stuff. The crew arrived exactly when scheduled, protected the shrubbery and house and went to work. Workmanship was first rate, the crew was courteous and explained everything they were doing. They were even kind of apologetic when they informed me they would have to replace all the wood on my garage roof but I was already prepared for that. When they left, my yard was actually cleaner than when they came. Victor followed up to make sure we were completely satisfied. They get my absolute highest recommendation.
