sales practices are deceptive. My sales rep came to the house and evaluated my roof. I had no illusions that my roof was in good shape. It needed to be replaced. Victors touts themselves as roof specialists and will give an “honest” evaluation of your roof. I am sure you have seen the commercials. My rep went into the crawl space, on the roof, and presented photos of the roof. The cost was high, and my wife and I said no to the original offer but when they came down in price by $6,000.00, we agreed to the contract. This is where they got us. The price included three sheets of wood but any wood on top of that would be $85.00 per sheet. I asked our rep if he thought all of the wood on our roof would need replacing, and he said no. He said one side of our roof needed replacing but the other side of the roof was good and did not need replacing. But I knew that they would have to replace the wood on part of my roof. I knew this because other companies told us the same thing. Fast forward to the installation. The foreman showed me one board to be replaced and said others would need replacing as well. I told him that I knew some boards would need replacing. When we got to the end of the installation, they informed me that they had replaced all of the wood. Seventy-Three sheets. I was never under the impression that all the wood would need to be replaced. I requested photographs of my roof to justify all of the wood being replaced. They sent photos and only one photo showed one piece of wood with mold. I informed them that I felt scammed. I was told they reviewed the photos and stood by their decision and apologized that the rep did not set the expectation. I brought to their attention that they evaluated that all of my wood needed replacing from photographs but their roof specialist who was in my crawl space, on top of my roof, and told me all the wood did not need replacing could not tell me that all the wood needed replacing. I am now responsible for you guessed it $6,000.00 in wood replacement. Convenient? Suspicious? Yeah. They are shady. I am sure it is also a pure coincidence that after I put down my deposit the balance is almost the exact amount we qualified for in financing plus $700.00. So, beware of Victors. Good product but you will pay for it, and they will deceive you out of every penny you qualify for.

We had our roof replaced by Victors in April 2017, following a storm damage. The initial experience was excellent. We had them come out twice since to evaluate and in one case repair some minor leaks, and they have been very responsive and professional with that also.

After getting estimates from several roofing companies, I chose Victors because of the quality of their products and the professionalism of the presentation. The price was definitely not the lowest, but I still feel like I got a good deal. From beginning to end, my questions were answered, my concerns were addressed, my house and gardens were protected and everything promised was delivered. I'm particularly grateful to Austin, who came after the job was completed to address the few remaining issues. He definitely went above and beyond. Thank you! My neighbors are now asking who did the roof and I'm happy to recommend Victors. Every time it rains, it's comforting to have such a secure roof protecting the house.

Great sales experience & follow up with my question from Zach. Henry & his team did an outstanding job of installation and clean up. Austin did a careful examination of the roof after installation & picking up plastic bits and pieces left on the roof. The price was fair, scheduling was within a reasonable time frame of paying a deposit. The two factors that decided me to go with Victors versus a competitor. 1. Scheduling within the month. 2. Reasonable down payment. You guys rocked it! Gorgeous looking roof!

I have listen to Paul W. Smith on WJR 760 all of last summer bragging on what a great job Victors Roofing did on both of His homes, you might think that he was building them up because they advertise on his show. Well I decided to give them a shot to see if they could live up to the hype, well I was not disappointed the crew arrived at 8:15 am and did a complete removal of the old roof, replaced 300 ft. of bad boards, did the entire roof with ice shield “ not just the first 3 ft.”installed vented drip edge all the way around. installed a solar roof vent, did new flashing on both my chimney's and installed 9 new attic vents, and Roof Replacement With Storm Master Cool Deck 3M shingles with a 20yr. NO LEAK warranty, The crew was great no one smoked while working, each man had his task to do and all went very smooth, the Forman, Omar explained every thing and asked me if I had any particular concerns that he might not be aware of. I stayed out side the entire day watching them work, I’m a very finicky person and I’ve watched roofing crews on other jobs and always felt that most of the other roofers ware a bunch of cowboys! load music, profanity and cigarettes butts being flick every where! Well you don’t have to worry with Victors crews, they are very professional, and had working, they did a great job cleaning up and went next door to my neighbors and ran the magnet to get any nails that might have found their way over there, Victors Roofing is the total package of what you expect and hope to get when you hire a roofing company. I would recommend them to any one that wants a out standing Roofing Company!

i first started looking for roof repair when it was raining and i heard a literal waterfall from the other room. above one of the large rectangular about 70" tall wall window there was water cascading in. i needed a few buckets and a mop, lol. the waterfall wall window is about a foot and half below the end skylight that is in the group of three. in addition i had two skylights that were leaking off and on from the skylight window corners also some single debris was slowly getting in being visible through the skylight shades due to loose shingles/flashing. the repairs that were done were replacing one sheet of osb under one skylight, flashing for all skylights, replacement shingles, and the replacement of 3 skylights. Kyle showed me on the roof that two skylights, the ones that were leaking form the corners inside the house sporadically were bad they had blown seals. the third skylight in a different area on the roof that had the bad/rotten osb board under it was not bad, all the seals were intact. the skylight was however aged and since the work that had to be done of replacing the shingles, flashing, and osb around this skylight, the skylight was replaced as preventative maintenance. the price to redo all the flashing and shingles when the window did eventually go bad would far exceed the $300 for the skylight. I was very happy with the expertise, professionalism, and friendliness of this company from Kyle, Blake, Juan, and Hector. (I am going by memory and am just not sure Juan and Hector are the correct names for the people who worked on the roof. I apologize upfront if I am mistaken I couldnt find it in my notes either.) from the multiple people i dealt with. this is a big company as in you will get moved from person to person. One person does estimates, one scheduling, and two did the labor on my job. Upon arrival Kyle did provide me with a referral sheet, which i did find a bit humorous because a company is not going to give you a referral sheet with any names and numbers on them who will give them an inferior review but that could just be my sense of humor. Although, it was an added touch no other company did it. Needless to say I did not call any of the referrals. I did look at the reviews on Angies list though before requesting an estimate. Kyle was able to point out the problem of the rotten osb under the shingles of the one skylight at the end that was next to two others. I did climb up on the roof with every company that came over as I am a single female most every company was surprised at this. I ask questions and do research ( I also appreciated that Victors was NOT sexist and did not treat me like a female that did not have a clue about anything builder related. Or ask to speak with my husband. lol, yes one company said that to me after I told them the leaks were not from condensation since being a female i would not know what condensation was or how to look for it. After all I did lay a tarp, make my own sand bags with about 400 lb of sand and hall it all on the roof myself to prevent further damage of a water fall pouring in the house during rain while i waited for estimates. ) Kyle was one of the the companies out of about 16 I had over for estimates. And only 4 of those even noticed that the osb under the shingles needed to be replaced. Kyle gave me an estimate with and without a roof tune up as I requested. the difference in price of the two was 1220 and the tune up includes only replacing 10 missing shingles and walking around the roof to secure any loose shingles looking for nail pop ups, etc. This seemed exorbitant to me. The roof is a large ranch but still those tubes of sealant cost like 5$ to 10$ at home depot. I did buy many tubes of that sealant and did the roof tune up maintenance myself after the repair was done. In all fairness the estimate was the highest that I received, the reason for the three stars on price. And you ask the reason I went with Victors being the highest: was that gut feeling, intuition, that told me they were going to be the company to trust in the long run. Remember only 4 out of the 16 estimates even noticed the osb needing to be replaced and at least half of the 16 didn't even follow through with giving me an estimate. [one company wanted to do a water test and charge me to pour water in my house to figure out the problem since they had no clue, lol.] Kyle gave me his estimate before he left. [another company, premier builder, were the only ones who told me that it was impossible to fix a repair of replacing a sheet of osb . Premier builder, who put the roof on and supposedly replaced osb when it was done, said there was no way to pull up singles without pulling them all up. Well i called Premier builder out on that he looked surprised when I told him all the other companies that I had come out had no problems doing it. And i had the original roof receipt, my late dad had in his files, that have on it 30 year warranty on materials and Premier builder did not honor it] There was incomplete information given or a miscommunication about using a credit card when i asked Kyle on the initial visit. I asked and he said he would wave the 3.5% fee to use a credit card. When I had him back to sign the paperwork to complete the project that fee was only waved if I went to Victors physical location to run the credit card in person. I live to far away to do that so opted out of using the credit card. One and only one of the other companies (not mentioned yet) that I received an estimate from did mention to me that the insulation under the rotten osb board may have some mold growing on it due to the leak first starting off as a slow leak before it was a waterfall. They said when they took off the osb if i bought some insulation they would replace any damaged insulation while they were doing the other work. When I asked Kyle back to sign the paperwork I did request if this could be done by Victors and he said that as a courtesy they would do it. Juan and Hector did replace one small roll of insulation. Thank you. No one wants a mold problem on top of all of lifes other problems. I don't really understand why all roofers would not mention this issue and do the courtesy of letting you buy your own insulation to save some money or charge a fee to do the replacement of moldy insulation. It doesn't seem like it would be the right way to do a job covering up potentially toxic moldy insulation or even moral to do so. Kyle also informed me when I signed the paperwork that the estimate was only for replacing 1 sheet of osb and any extra was 80$ per sheet. Which seemed pricey since its at least half that or less for osb at the store. Kyle explained it also included the labor involved, etc. Also on the initial estimate it never said it was only for replacing one sheet. I did get the initial estimate about a few months before I called to sign with Victors. I had a skunk infestation to deal with and a brother I had to go help paint and stain besides collecting all the other estimates. I do not believe Victors had my paperwork anymore as Kyle asked to see mine. It did not say anywhere on my estimate that it was only good for 30 or 60 days, etc. Well Kyle had to redo or verify the estimate to see if any of the prices on materials when up in the mean time. None did. The employees who did the work on the roof, Juan and Hector, did an excellent job. they were here when promised and the job did not take very long. I was surprised how fast it was, in fact. Juan kept me up to date on what was going on with the roof through the sky light holes while replacing them, lol, so it was easy. He let me know to lay down a blanket for falling debris, move anything below, and had me double check on the inside if the skylights were centered. He said it was centered on the outside. I did check and it looked like it but was hard to tell with the old moldings still in place. I said if he was taking the time to do that paying attention to the details and double check with me I trusted he was the expert. He also explained that the molding around the old sky lights was done on the inside as in not attached to the skylight itself and would not come off when they removed the old ones. And most likely the moldings would have to be redone to fit the new skylights. I did go outside when they were replacing the osb to make sure they found the insulation and to ask if I should move it to the ladder. He said he would get it if need and would take a picture to show me. I said I could climb right up there and look when he was ready if he wanted to holler down into the house from the hole were the sky light was being replaced. Well they finished and he didnt call me or I didnt hear him from in the other room or he just got busy doing the job and forgot, or he thought i was going to climb up when he said he would take pics therefore it could just be a miscommunication. no worries the job was done flawlessly with no leaks almost a year later and insulation replaced. I am sure it was not intentional at all. Like I said he was going out of his way to inform me what was going on step by step paying attention to every detail. I would have Juan and Hector work on my roof every time!! In addition they did an excellent job of cleaning up as nothing was left behind. They even have a big/wide magnetic strip on wheels that they roll around the driveway to pick up any fallen nails/metal debris. It was a cool tool. Also another thing to mention when I called to get an appointment set up I specifically said i did not want the entire roof replaced it does not need it I already had people out for that the previous year and I do not need a roof yet. The shingles are not curling or cracking the specific shingle on the house was made to look like slate so the look is designed into the shingle. Well eventually Kyle did try and sell me a whole new roof something about being more cost effective since i had to get repair work done and the repair costs would in effect go toward a roof replacement. To me i would rather spend 5 grand than 20 or 30 grand when I have 5 or 6 years left on the roof. Really money does not grow on trees who has an extra grand let alone 15 or more. After the work was done, I did receive two call backs one from Kyle and one from Blake to check on the repair work. No more waterfalls or drips! I will keep Victors on my list for a trustworthy competent company and I highly recommend them. pictures attached are of the two replaced skylights and needed shingles. and two pics of the third skylight that was replaced (the one on the end in the picture of the three skylights together) with the osb board under the skylight and shingles and pictures of this area to prevent further damage with the tarp and sand bags.

Starting with the salesman, everyone was professional. I was informed all the way. They assisted with reasonable financing. They came when they said they would. When I asked for a new date to allow for overhang repair, they were accommodating. I had a couple of issues which they promptly addressed. I selected them based on their excellent reviews. They work hard for those reviews. They are a reliable and trustworthy company. I have peace of mind.

I was very impressed with the quality of workmanship. Compared to recent re-roofs my neighbors have had done, the work done by Victors is far superior. I noticed it in things like the shingle alignment, flashing that went higher up and other details. The rep giving me a quote was extremely friendly (no high-pressure), gave a number of options for pricing and materials and was very thorough on his inspection and follow-thru. The workers who installed it were very courteous and professional and cleaned up the area well. They were done in a single day with both the house and garage. When I notified them that there was some leftover asphalt residue in the garage, they sent a guy out immediately to clean it up and wipe down anything that it had settled on. Price was a little bit higher than my other quotes but well worth it in the end. I've had my new roof for about a year-and-a-half now and couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Victors.

It went very well. They showed up at 9am, and started stripping the roof at 9:15. There where some extras i wanted them to do too, like removing an unused chimney, and i had gutter guards installed. Everything was cleaned up and they where done by 4pm. The new roof looks great.

This is one top notch roofer. I had issues with condensation caused by poor ventilation in the attic. Warm moist air from the home condensed on the interior of the roof and dripped down onto the ceilings causing substantial damage. I had 3 roofers and my insurance company come out. The insurance company accounted the problem to ice damming and paid to have the ceilings repainted. VIctors called it what it was: condensation due to poor airflow in the attic. They showed me why it wasn't ice damming. They replaced the clogged ridge vents and noted that if it continues, which they thought unlikely, that the attic will need more airflow like an attic vent. They even came out for a second inspection at no charge to verify that the attic was sealed. On both inspection visits they spent 2 hours crawling through the large attic and climbing on the roof. What they didn't do was try to sell me a new roof like 2 other roofers did. In dealing with Victors, their office is always extremely pleasant. They will work to accommodate your schedule -flexibly. And they show up on time and clean up after the work. To boot, when I paid my bill, they sent me a Starbucks card to say thanks. Nice touch! Top notch service for which they can be sure to be on my call list when the roof needs to be replaced in a 4-5 years time. I wish all contractors would operate like Victor's Roofing.

We were led to believe that the replacement would look better from interior standpoint than current skylight and trim. Removing the old skylight and replacing it with new skylight created a very poor looking interior finish at the skylight and interior skylight wall junction. I will have to hire a carpenter to finish the job. I haven't had the chance to go onto the roof to look at the work yet. They helped me out a little price wise to compensate for this. Overall, I would consider them for another roofing job as they were very professional, organized and prompt. There was this one issue.

After getting quotes from 4 other roofing companies, I chose at Victors Roofing. They offered the quality shingle we wanted with an outstanding warranty at a price equal to the lesser quality shingles the other roofing companies quoted us. All of the people I dealt with at Victors Roofing were very professional, always available to answer my questions, and helpful throughout the complete process. They identified why our roof aged prematurely, and offered information on how to remedy the problem (improper attic ventilation). The team of roofers that came to install the shingles were hard working, and their protection of our garden area and windows was great. They spent quite a bit of time cleaning up the area after the new roof was on, in fact leaving the area cleaner than when they arrived! The selection of roofing materials was great, we love the new shingles we picked out. These new shingles are even saving us over $100 a year on our home owners insurance as they are hail resistant. I would highly recommend Victors Roofing.

What went well: Roof team did all their work in 1 day as committed. Product looks good. Gutters look very nice as well and all fascia wood is properly wrapped with new aluminum. What didn't go well: Communication was lost/not clear on everything. Discrepancy over what kind of venting was to be installed on roof, but didn't realize until after the work was done. Work was to include fascia wood replacement - had to call when i saw it not getting replaced - team felt it was not bad enough to replace, but if i had not reported it, I would have paid for work that wasn't actually done. HQ reduced the quote to account for this, but this wasn't communicated to the site manager - I had to update his quote. Just lack of communication between on site team and HQ. Gutters were not done same day, but wasn't made aware of this until it happened. Gutter guard pieces are not all flush - i think debris could still get in between them. None of these are deal breakers, but they were all inconvenient and could have been avoided. Make sure everything is spelled out and understood.
Description of Work: House roof was leaking. Detached garage roof was pretty beat up. There were no gutters previously on the garage. The gutters on the house were okay, but needed to come down as the aluminum wrap on the house did not cover the fascia wood completely. Work done: Gutters and gutter guards installed on both house and garage. Roof was replaced on both as well.

It went very well. They were punctual and professional. The cleanup was magnificent! I had a minor concern related to the siding on my house. However, they came back quickly and added Flashing to my porch roof "over-hang", washed down the siding where there were marks made during the roof replacement, and also filled in some tiny holes that were already there in my siding at the top. My new roof and gutter systems looks really good! I highly recommend Victor's Roofing! :-)

Victors roofing had great reviews and gave me the lowest quote out of 4 quotes. They came on time the day they scheduled, and had everything complete by the end of the day. They didn't ask for a dime up front because they wanted me to be happy before I paid. I was out of town that day, and when I returned I let them know of a few details I wanted corrected. The flashing needed to be straightened out in some areas because the pieces didn't look level to my eye, the ridgevent looked to be a little unlevel to the eye as well, and some of the wood that was rotting on our house had been chipped away/ pulled back as to secure the water-tight roof. I called and asked to have these things fixed.. and although many people may have never noticed them, my eye went right to these details of the job. Victor understood my concerns, explained that although the rotting wood typically wouldn't be part of their repairs, he was happy to make the job complete to my satisfaction. He kept his word sent a crew within a week out to my house to take down and redo ALL of the flashings to make them look just about perfect, replaced ALL or just about all of the ridgevent, and repaired the rotting wood in several areas and painted it to match the existing color. The crew made sure that they understood exactly what I wanted. I wanted the job to look just about perfect and now it does..so don't hesitate to explain what needs to be corrected. Thank you Victors Roofing!!!

I can’t say enough about Victors roofing, these guys were awesome from beginning to end. They did an excellent job of removing and replacing my shingles. While I had them out I asked for a quote to add insulation so they went into the attic to assess and their feedback was I had plenty of insulation and didn’t need to add more. If it wasn’t for their honesty, I would have needlessly spent money and not realized any difference in comfort or reduced heating bills. It was refreshing dealing with them. I’m so glad I found them on Angie’s list and selected them for the job. I received the same positive experience I read about which is great!

Everything went extremely well. They returned my call, anwered all of my questions, were curteous, professional and meticulous. The sign advertising the job they performed is still on my lawn and will remain there for the rest of the summer.
