My roof was at the end of it's life. Shingles were 20+ years old, cracked and warped. I did not want to wait for a leak to happen, so I called 3 roofing companies for estimates, 2 of which were highly reviewed on Angie's List, and one business I had used in the past. The company I selected was Victor's Roofing. That was a very good choice. My entire experience with them was nothing but positive. Bill Smith came out on Friday to provide our estimate. He went up on the roof to inspect and took photos. We discussed the various options and shingle types. Bill gave us 3 estimates, based on shingle quality. He was great to work with and very knowledgeable. I accepted their bid on Monday and the job was scheduled for the following Friday. That Thursday evening, I received a call from Victor (the owner) to let me know our job had been postponed until the next Monday, if that was no problem. The weather had been pretty bad for a couple of days, so I wasn't too surprised. Monday morning around 9 the crew showed up and began prepping the house and draping it with large tarps to catch debris from the tear-off. They set to work tearing off the old shingles and installing the new ones. I have a very steep roof, but the job went smoothly. The crew worked all day. They were finishing the job up on the roof as the sun went down. It was the first weekday after the fall-back time change, which I think caught them off guard. They had to do cleanup in the dark, The next morning, I was able to admire the new roof. The color and style looked much better than I had expected. It made a huge impact on the appearance of our home The workmanship was great! Victor's Roofing are definitely pros. I can see why they are rated so highly on Angie's list. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I was extremely pleased with the service and quality of work I received when Victor's Roofing put a brand new roof on my house. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a professional, customer-focused, and reputable company to perform the service. I screened a number of contractors and, while a few of them did well, I was most impressed with the pre-sales / estimation process that Chad conducted. He spent what I thought was adequate time to thoroughly inspect the current state of my roof, taking several pictures so he could show me. He was the only one who asked to see my attic so he could assess the condition of the wood. We spent a good amount of time talking through what I needed and what the process involved; this made the company stand out because the other guys wanted to spend most of the time talking to me about shingle colors. He provided me with three different quotes based on the materials I wanted to go with. All of the quotes were aligned with market price, and the option I ended up going with was more affordable than a few other companies from a comparison perspective. After reviewing the quotes, I decided to give Victor's a shot. I called them back to confirm, Chad came back out, and that's when I picked the shingles and we discussed details of the appointment. I was pleased to see that he didn't try to sell one brand of shingle over another but, rather, offered up recommendations when I asked. No hard sell on anything. They were able to pull ahead the job for me, which was nice. I was originally looking at an appointment three weeks out, and it ended up only being two - and that's during the busy month of October. They were accommodating and gave me plenty of notification of the date change. They showed up on time the day of and were very efficient and thorough in getting the job done. I have a 1,000 square foot, starter-home style ranch and it only took half a day. They discovered that my kitchen fan vent wasn't opening up when they worked on that portion of the roof and were able to fix it for me. When they got the work done, the roof looked fantastic. They did as best of a job of cleaning up the area as they could, recognizing it was a windy day and that made it challenging alone. After the work was completed, Chad followed up with me to ensure the job was completed to my satisfaction, and when I inquired as to feedback from the city inspection, he followed up to confirm the date they would be by and then forwarded me the approval email for my records. I've had no issues at all with the roof and am relieved I won't have to go another winter with a roof that was in bad shape. All in all, a very positive and refreshing experience. They're clearly a company that takes the quality of their work and customer relationships seriously. It shows. I'd hire them again.

Professional, courteous and very informative. Was on time for appointment and took the time to contact us prior to arrival. Sat down to go over findings which included sharing photos. Provided recommendations and took the time to answer all questions. Very thorough inspection of roof and attic.

Upon our request, Bill Smith from Victors Roofing came to our house to give us an estimate for roof replacement. He was completely punctual, polite, professional and friendly. He went on the roof and investigate all area then gave us a comprehensive consultation and time and cost estimate for different options of doing the job. He was very professional and honest and told us that our roof doesn't need the full replacement at this year. He even suggested to come back next year and provide another free estimate and see if it is the time for replacement or not. We are very satisfied with his consultation and although we decided to postpone roof replacement to another year but we definitely will do business with this honest and knowledgeable person and our choice for doing the job in future is Victors Roofing. The fact that he spent a good amount of time for investigation, listened to our needs and gave us very clear, honest and professional consultation is really valuable for us. Now I believe that when they are looking at a job, they truly consider and respect customer's needs and rights. He was very well equipped and was using digital documentation software to record notes, dimensions and pictures in their archive. In the end, he provided us a binder of documents that showed details of their working process and specifications of materials. He also gave us a copy of their licence, insurance and guarantee documents. I highly recommend working with this company and this respectable and professional man.

Victor was FANTASTIC! Two trees fell on a two unit Condominium Complex Building. I called Victor on Aug 21st at 8:30 am in the morning, we had two large trees come down on our Building the night before. Victor was there by 11am, that's right 2.5 hrs, the same morning to do a temporary fix to avoid any interior water damage. Victor helped tremendously with our insurance claim by meeting the adjustor for both onsite and phone evaluation appointments. Once the Insurance Claim was finalized and he got the go ahead, Victors crew of about 14 came out and did the job. They were remarkable, from there early morning arrival to the completion. Co Owners were amazed, how quickly they got the job done! The crew were respectful, professional, and a pleasure to work with and the workmanship was rated a 10 plus. This crew cleaned EVERYTHING up before leaving the premises, there were no nails/boards/shingle remnants to be found. Not only will I recommend Victors Roofing- The other Co-Owners told me they will be doing the same. with that being said.....Victors Roofing without hesitation will be called again (we have 19 more buildings to go within the next 10 years).

Great from start to finish. Customer service personnel was friendly, helpful, and listened to our concerns. They did a reminder call, and when Victor came out he was early, courteous, listened to our concerns, and came back reporting that he addressed the areas of concern on the roof. We have not had a leak since he fixed it. He also gave us a quote for a new roof and the age/life of the roof that was in line with what we knew from our house inspection before buying the house about a year ago. He gave us a packet of their roofing services, didn't try to sell us or talk us into anything--just encouraged us to look at it, and the offering his company had in this arena. He took pictures of the work before and after, and he should me the before and after photos and the work he did using his Ipad, He said, he would email me a copy of the photos and he did. He also sent us a gift certificate to Tim Hortons, which I felt pleased to receive. I would definitely use them again, and the company met my needs for value and trust and consideration for meeting us where we were at in terms of the problem we were having, and not trying to sell us on something we didn't need or want at this point. I do most of the calling and contracting with businesses and am keenly aware of how many of them just try and sell their products without really listening, or use scare tactics, and false info to get you to buy. This was NOT my experience with Victor Roofing. If you had a rating for A+, I would have given them that ranking My only regret is the delay in responding--kept meaning to respond sooner, just got caught up with other stuff!

I had Victor's Roofing out for $199 roof inspection and was quite pleased. Chad arrived and did a thorough inspection of the roof and re-caulked where necessary. Chad was very professional and gave an honest assesment of the condition and remaining life of our roof. He took some photos along the way. I would definitely recommend Victor's Roofing if you're looking for a roof inspection, repair or new roof.

I had gotten a quote from someone else before I called Victor's. Victor's was much lower than the previous and around the price I expected to pay. Chad was on time and did a very thorough inspection of the roof before giving me a quote, which was unlike the first company I had a quote from. He gave me 3 different roof choices with 3 different prices. There was absolutely no pressure to choose a certain one or even to purchase one at all. We decided to go with Victor's because they seemed honest and very knowledgeable. They scheduled the job within 2 weeks. They were early to start and had a huge crew. They got the job done quickly and our new roof looks and performs great. They cleaned up nicely around the house too. There wasn't any junk lying around or nails everywhere. Chad even called a few days after for a follow-up on how the job went. All in all, the process went smoothly and I would use them again and refer them to anyone.

Victors roofing company arrived 15 minutes before schedule. The foreman was very professional and the team worked hard and finished our new roof in 6 hours. Very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend Victors Roofing to anyone who asks.

They were phenomenal! I am screaming from my brand-new rooftop about how awesome they were to work with! I have Referred them to everyone I know and will continue to do so. After meeting with 4 other roofing companies, Chad from victors had won us over with his honesty and professionalism. I will Never use another roofer! Ask for Chad, he is AMAZING!!!

The job was done in a timely and very professional manner. I couldn't ask for anyone better than Victor and his family and crew to do my roof. We had several bids before deciding, and Victor's Roofing far exceeded everyone in estimates of time and cost and also in professionalism. The quality also surpassed all other bidders' materials. If you want a roof done you should call Victor.

Victor initially came out for the quote. I had other contractors come out and one fail doing the job. He is a class act and very professional. They came out to replace the roof earlier then expected. Updated me what was going on the entire time and even sent me a gift card for a free coffee. The work they did was amazing and you wouldn't even know they were there, they cleaned up so well. I would highly recommend using them and would use them again for any service they provide.

Inspection was thorough with photos and explanation of condition in all areas. Very professional and no hard sell. He will likely get my re-roofing job when it comes due

I Victor's Roofing and Victor in particular provided the best service and most professionalism of any company I have ever dealt with. I was going through a difficult period and Victor was very patient with me throughout the entire process. It took almost a year for me to make up my mind from all the quotes i had received. Victor kept his quote intact during that entire period. He was the only company who went into my attic to check on leaks. I would hire him again in an instant. He did the entire job in a day while my family was out of town. When we returned we didn't find any scraps of the roof or any debri anywhere on our lot. I would recommend Victor's Roofing to anyone.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Victor's Roofing. Chad arrived on-time and conducted a very thorough inspection of our roof -- from the exterior and through attic --, photographing areas of concern, and re-caulking where required. He also spent a considerable amount of time walking me through what he had done and what he'd recommend doing (luckily, our roof is in good shape so I won't have to replace for a few more years.) He was very professional and offered excellent advice. I would highly recommend Victor's Roofing if you're looking for a roof inspection, repair or new roof.

I highly recommend Victors Roofing, and if I could give the owner, Victor Smolyanov, and his crew, a grade, it would be A+! It has been a couple of months since we first met with Victor, and we could not be more pleased with our Victors Roofing experience and the outcome! Victor spent about two hours with us initially, listening to our plans (we are preparing our home to sell), inspecting our roof, and presenting a plan with three options to choose from. We were very impressed with his promptness and professionalism. His crew was also extremely prompt and professional. The job went exactly as planned and I was thrilled with the result. I had a good feeling about Victor right from the beginning and I can truly attest to his motto, "Built on Integrity." It is a family business, which appealed to me, with a great deal of experience to back it up, another plus, in my opinion. We also had a home inspection after our roof was replaced, and the inspector also mentioned he was impressed with work and that it was well done. To anyone who is considering replacing their roof, I would not hesitate in contacting Victors Roofing!

I had my roof replaced by Victor's Roofing on 7/10/15 and from start to finish they did a great job. From the initial quote given by Chad when he came out, to meeting Victor when finalizing the roof and what should be done, to the roofing team led by George getting the roof done in under 5 hours, I was impressed in every step of the process. I highly recommend Victor's Roofing, you will not regret their work!!!

Very positive experience from the very start. I found out about Victors Roofing from Angie's List as it got the highest ratings and the most informative reviews (number of reviews and the usefulness of information in those reviews). I first filled out an online request on their website and quickly received a call from Olga in the office. She scheduled Victor to come to my house on Saturday morning that same week to give a free estimate. That Saturday, Victor was punctual and we discussed the problem at hand. Victor was honest with regards to the estimate on that morning giving a ballpark figure of somewhere between $3000 and $4000. He suspected it would be closer to $4000 but he told me that he would have to study the situation on his own, develop a plan, and get back to me. There was absolutely no pressure nor salesmanship from his end. The conversation was straightforward with no gimmicks. A few days later, he emailed me the estimate as promised. But the service did not stop there...he offered to come to my house, explain exactly what would be done, and explain the estimate in detail. I took him up on the offer and we discussed what his proposed plan was. The estimate was transparent and was a flat fee of $3820. His crew does not charge by the hour and there were no hidden costs or fees (in contrast to a prior bad experience that I had with a handyman company that I will never use again). One month later, we decided to have the job done and that was recently completed by a two-man crew, George and Gustavo. They showed up on time, were very prepared, and got the job done in one day. They took pictures at various stages of the project and George showed those pictures to me after the job was done. I don't know much about roofing but the way they handled this problem was according to what Victor described and it made sense as an effective countermeasure to my roof leak problem. Everything was meticulously cleaned up after they completed their job and there was no damage done to my property. Overall, my experience with Victors Roofing was very positive and I have no reservations in writing this review. I've had some bad experiences with contractors in the past and so I now tend to be a bit trustful and ask questions. Victor and Olga are very responsive in this regard and I have no complaints with regards to this company. At some point, I will likely have to get my entire roof replaced and I plan on consulting Victors Roofing for this in the future as I trust this company.

Victor inspect the house and as promised the following day his team was at my home very early in the morning. They covered all the plants and trees around my house, removed the old shingles, and replace damaged wood. By noon they were installing the new shingles. The tem was very professional and efficient. They start at 8:00 AM and finished by 7:30 PM I really like the service provided by Victor and his employees.

It went well. It went fine. The shingles were not the exact match but it’s not noticeable unless you focus on it. But then when I called them back, they did not return my call. So they did not follow up on their work.

Everything went very well. Victor was extremely responsive to questions and took the time to explain how they would perform the work and why a specific recommendation was made for a trouble spot we had with an ice dam. The crew worked relentless for 3 full days. Work site was kept very clean. He followed up after the job was done to ask if we had any questions or concerns. I got 5 bids in the process, and eliminated the high and low. Victor was in the middle of the pack price wise, but ahead for everyone else in customer service. Quality is good and the roof looks great. We would highly recommend him for any job, and especially if you have any special consideration that need to be addressed on the project.
