We were very pleased with the installation and the fence. Heather is delightful, easy to work with, flexible and listens. We adopted a dog, Nash, from a family member on rather short notice. Nash had an electric fence at his previous home and it was quickly obvious we needed one at our house. We have a large back yard that ends on a heavily travelled road and wanted to keep him safe while giving him enough area to run around. There was also a large dog at one of our neighbors. In short, we needed more than a simple box shape dog fence around our house and yard. Heather listened to us. My husband walked with her through the installation process, talking through what areas would be best fenced off and how to do it. She installed the receiver where we wanted it in our garage. She took her time and the result is that we have a unique fence that works well with our yard and our dog. Heather returned calls promptly and we signed the contract and had the installation scheduled within a week. It started raining on installation day so the final sealants could not be done but that was completed about 2 weeks later. Nash needed very little training on the fence - he shied away as soon as he saw the flags that are used as temporary markers but Heather still walked him all around the yard and made sure he saw all the boundaries. The DogGuard system does require battery replacement every 4-5 months (less frequent than others) but the cost is reasonable, about $45 per year. We also liked that Heather offered do it yourself repair kits if you accidentally cut the fence wire. Heather made it clear that if we had any questions or concerns in the future we should call. She left us with a lot of helpful information and since the installation was completed we have not had any issues. If you are considering an electric fence for your pet I would recommend calling Heather.

we have never had issues with our system in the 6 years we have had it. it was more expensive than the "do it yourself" systems. however, I have not heard anything good from the people who have installed these systems themselves. overall good quality equipment and install.

Followed up any time we needed her help on a very timely basis. It has made it very safe and easy for our dog,Sophie to be out in our yard on a very busy road.

The girl that did it was great. Her name was Heather and she was on time. She knew what she was doing. She put in an invisible fence. I could not say enough stuff about her.

The contact person’s name is Heather. The price was average. It was not too high. Everybody else was so expensive, but she is independent. So, she was inexpensive. The quality of the work was pretty good. There was not much for her to do. She did not have to fix or dig anything up. Her professionalism was very good, and she came out within two days which was pretty good.

She did a beautiful job training our dog to stay within the property. She stayed with him and we will continue to use her.

It went well. They trained our dog not to go past a certain point. He was consistent and on time for the appointments. She stayed with the dog and put a lot of heart into it. She was very helpful and provides dog sitting services. We will continue to use her.

She was very courteous and professional, the dogs loved her. She came out once to give us an estimate and spent time walking the property and getting to know the dogs, then came out a week or so later to do the installation. Because one of our dogs was too young at the time to be trained, she made two sets of trips out for the training (4 trips total) without charging us for the extra ones. She was even very flexible when we had to cancel ones of the visits. I would definitely recommend Dog Guard to anyone getting an invisible fence.

I contacted Heather about the invisible fence that Dog Guard offers. She came out gave me a very reasonable price. She came back out to install the invisible fence on time and on the date decided on. She explained everything in detail on what we had to do, and came back to help train our dogs 3 times. We have had the fence since September. It is now January and I changed the batteries in our dogs collars and thought they were not working right. I contacted Heather and left her a message to contact me about the problem. She got right back to me, and the problem was resolved. I would suggest Heather with Dog Guard to any one interested in getting an invisible fence. She was and continues to be very professional. Everything went great! They arrived on time, explained what they were going to do and laid out the system just the way we wanted it. Heather then did the initial training session. She returned in 3 days to she how we were doing and to answer any questions. She returned in a week to check again. We called her and she returned on 8/23/2013. One of our dogs broke through the fence chasing deer and a squirrel. She adjusted the correction level. She brought her own dog with her to test our dog. Our dogs played with each other; then her dog ran in and out of the system. Our dog stayed within the area. By bringing her own dog, Heather went beyond anything we expected. We highly recommend Heather for anyone wanting an in ground system. Heather explained that the system works for most dogs if the people do the proper training.

Took a while to schedule because of the lousy weather, but on the date of service they were able to come earlier than expected. They checked to be sure the collars were working and then spent a good hour or so finding several breaks in the line and repaired them

Heather provided a lot of information regarding the collar options and line placement. The dog was new to us and we had lots of questions which she patiently answered. Installation was quick. She trained our dog on the system and showed us how to continue the process. A few days after installation, the collar zapped while the dog was leaning on the siding of our house! She seemed doubtful that it occurred but responded quickly. It truly was a problem and she solved it. We've not had a problem with wayward zappings since.

Came to our house on time to give us an estimate. We called two other places for estimates, and all were within $100 of each other. We went with Dog Guard, because we liked the woman who owns the company. We had a new puppy and wanted to make sure we could keep her in the yard. We had heard that invisible fences were extremely expensive, and we have about an acre of land. This was very affordable, and has worked great! Our puppy trained quickly, and we have never had a problem with the fence or the equipment. We had one question a month or so later, and the owner called us back right away, and explained to us what we needed to know.

My dog Sophie was running into the street...hence, the electric fence...which went in last winter...The owner Heather worked her butt off to get everything in place, after a few adjustments of her collar, we had a winner...Heather is alway on time, helpful, and Sophie just loves her...no more running in the road..worth every penny...do not hesitate to use her service. This August I called to have Sophie's collar re-checked..no problem came right over....

I called Heather around 8:30am. She returned my call by 9:15am, and set up a time to come out, same day. She did call and have to push the time back, but she kept me in the loop, and arrived on time. She repaired the break in my fence wire quickly. I am very happy with the service I received.

Very well. We had about given up on our dogs running off, and in addition, the company offers a battery by mail replacement which is a good reminder to keep the batteries current.

Overall, it was an excellent experience. Heather was helpful, punctual, instructive and patient. I would recommend her to anyone.
