TruGreen Lawn Care - 5675

It didn't go well. Originally last year, I had another company and I called them many times to come out. They kept saying that they were coming out and never did. So finally I told them not to bother and I called TruGreen. TruGreen came out and I explained to them what I wanted, which is just flea and tick control. We didn't want weed control or any of that other stuff. It was getting late in the year, so I said I only want two applications. They came out and did that. Next year, I called them in March because I wanted just the flea and tick again in our yard and no weed control; my husband takes care of that. I set that up. They called and left me an automated message saying that they will be there. They didn't show up. I called back and they left me an automated message again a couple of weeks later and never showed up. I called back a third time, and they left leave a message saying they will be there. They came. Only this time, they put down weed control and not in areas I wanted it. They put the other stuff down that I wanted, but not in the areas that I wanted. I called them and said that I will pay for the insect and bug even though it was in an area larger than I wanted. But I told them that I am not paying for the other two because I didn't ask for grub or weed control. As far as I know, the guy took it off my bill. I got a bill and I called them back. They said no and that is has been taken care of. The only bill I should have had to pay would have been for the insect control. I told them to cancel my account. My husband will just do it all. From what I could see, their prices were fairly competitive. With regard to professionalism, they were all fairly decent.

We have an annual service contract. Yesterday both lawn service and pest control came same day, unannounced. Lawn service sprayers left sign -- but no paper work -- and left oil/grease across hood of our car! I had to rub it out myself. They always come right before it rains, except this time. Pest control cruised neighborhood, but I called phone number[s] given to call: 454-1155. I called office staff, who promised that "manager" would "call right back" but NEVER did. There seems to be no communication within this company. Pest control man sprayed foundation quickly, then left a receipt as usual.

They continued trying to sell more and more services to us, even after we told them no. Because of this, we decided to cancel their services.

The service man came in time as was scheduled.. However instead of liquid fertilizers/weed killers ( which they promised) he ran back and forth a couple of times across my lawn with granulated substance - the one you can buy at Sams... 5 days later my lawn blooms with dandelions and all the weeds are alive and thriving....Now is the interesting part... Truegreen reps called me day and night to sell their plan to me with LIQUID commercial grade stuff and free of charge in between application visits to correct any problems.... Now I have called them 3 times in 5 days - and still nodoby came to deliver the service they promised. Meanwhile the deadline on their invoice is approaching and I have the most colorful lawn in the neighborhood...The joke is every time I call them I have to wait for the rep and have to listen to their add....

We just switched to them this year, and we are really satisfied with it. They were so thorough. We have had trouble in the past with insect control; this has been a really bad year for insects. We have just had great luck with that. They are very professional, and they tell us exactly what they are going to do. They talk to us about the problems, and anything we can do ourselves to help. It's a great service. The price is a little high, but we get what we pay for. This is our first year, and we have not had a problem in the yard. With regard to responsiveness, they are excellent. They are on time.

They do a very good job. We are always very pleased with our yard. If there are any issues, they will come out and take care of them. I feel that they are a little pushy with their products. Once we sign up for something, they will call us and say that they offer something and if we would be interested. We should be kind of aware of what they are doing because we might end up with eight applications when we would have initially signed up for four applications. But there is good. I don’t know what anybody else’s price is.

I have used them for 20 years. They call and tell me when they will be at my home. Anytime I wasn't happy, they always fixed it immediately. It has been very few times that I have ever called them with a problem, and I have never had an argument. The price is very competitive, and in line with what you would have to pay with someone else.

The grass looks beautiful and we have no weeds. We used them last year also and will continue to use them again in the future.

I’m not totally happy with them but they’re okay. The quality isn’t perfect but it’s pretty good. I guess I'll continue using them.

This is my first year with them. I am going to see how it goes. The initial application is great. They were professional and explain everything to me.

I was pretty satisfied with their work. Their customer service was great and come straight out but they just couldn’t get rid of the weeds; that’s why I chose to go with another company.

This did not work out very well for me. I had ants in my yard. I kept paying them to fix it, but the ants never wents away.

I am very satisfied with their service. I saw the guy at this"October visit and I asked him some questions and he was very helpful on getting my lawn ready for the summer coming up. As far as I am concerned they have improved my lawn. It was being taking over by weeds before I started. He is very polite and knowledgeable.

Considering lack of rain until recently the overall appearance of our lawn has been above average. With the recent rain our lawn would be graded A+. The yard is not perfect as there are a few weeds and a few bare spots due to the lack of rain earlier in the summer. The care for the trees and shrubs as well as the pest control for the foundation and near the house has been excellent. We also needed grub treatment because I tried to save money and pre-treat for grubs. The Trugreen grub treatment was excellent.

I was with TruGreen for years. I called them in the Spring of this year to ask for a review of my account and see if they could match or better the price for services I was receiving and possibly add on tree and shrub service. I had received a quote from a competitor of theirs and felt that if a competitor, who by the way was owned by the same parent company, could do the same service for $20.00 less, they could too. I didn't know they were owned by the same parent company until TruGreen told me. At first, they agreed and even lowered the price more. Great! I received a phone call back CONFIRMING the deal I received. I called the competitor back and told them no thanks, I would stay with TruGreen. Well, that wasn't the end of the story. On the day of my first service, I get a call from the "Technician" that was supposed to come out to Service my property and he tells me that his Supervisor called him aside and told him to call me and let me know that "no way were they going to service my property for the price quoted. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I asked for the Supervisor's name and called him. He didn't seem to care in the least that he was losing a customer. He was trying to get me to pay MORE than I paid the previous year! He also didn't care that he waited until I actually needed the service and I would have to scramble to get someone else to do it. I felt like he put the Technician in the middle. The Technician was trying to keep us as a Customer. Another thing, after I cancelled with them, I received numerous phone calls from them trying to get us to sign back up. I finally had to put my foot down and tell them in no uncertain terms to stop calling!!! I don't recommend Trugreen to anyone.

On 1 July 2011, I cancelled the service of having my trees and shrubs, because it is getting expensive. On 14 June 2011 I recieved a spraying on my bushes and trees. which was $52.41. Then on 6 July 2011, TruGreen came and analised my bushes and trees, they left a message on the analysis said I had 5 different insects on my bushes. Ok, now they had been spraying these said bushes the last couple of months. So why all the bugs? I guess they didn't spray like they were supposed to do. Another thing, they take care of my front lawn. I stopped the back yard last year because of our dog being in the back yard quite a bit. My front yard is brown and dying, my back yard is nice and green. This will be our last year using TruGreen!

I have been with TruGreen for at least 10 years. They have always done a wonderful job in making my lawn look wonderful. Couldn't be more please with a company.

They are great to work with. They listen when you wish to wait between treatments. They also give helpful hints to improve your lawn. One time they treated the trees and shrubs, it rained later that day, we called them to come back and retreat and they came back within 7 days. They didn't give us a hard time at all, just told us no problem.

THEY ARE REALLY PROMPT AND DO THINGS WITH OUT ANY HASSLE. THEY ARE A NICE GROUP OF GUYS. THEY ARE VERY EXPERIENCED AND WORK WELL TOGETHER AS A TEAM.

THE WORK THEY DO IS FAVORABLE, AND WE ARE SATISFIED WITH THE COMPANY. THE YARD LOOKS FINE, BUT THEY FORGET TO SHUT THE GATE WHEN THEY ARE FINISHED WITH THE YARD. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEIR WORK.

THEY USUALLY DO WHAT WE ASK. THE ONE THING THAT IS UPSETTING TO US IS THEY ARE ALWAYS ASKING US TO PURCHASE MORE SERVICES THAN WE WANT. THEY DO A FAIRLY GOOD JOB ON THE YARD.

THEY ARE VERY PROMPT IN COMING OUT TO THE HOUSE. THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO KEEP MY LAWN BUG FREE. THEY ARE A REASONABLE PRICE FOR THE QUALITY OF WORK THAT I RECEIVE.

MY LAWN LOOKS GREAT. I HAD A BARE YARD AND NOW IT'S NICE AND GREEN. THEY SET A SCHEDULE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR AND THEY'VE BEEN GOOD ABOUT FOLLOWING IT. THEY ALSO GAVE ME SOME POINTERS ON HOW TO KEEP MY YARD UP.

THEY DID A "SO-SO" JOB. WE HAD SPIDERS AND CENTIPEDES IN THE HOUSE, BUT THEY SAID THAT THEY HAD ALREADY BEEN IN OUR HOUSE, SO IT WAS NOT THEIR FAULT. I THOUGHT THEIR SERVICE USED TO BE BETTER THAN IT IS NOW.

TRUGREEN IS A NATIONAL COMPANY THAT PRIDES THEMSELVES ON BEAUTIFUL LAWNS. THEY ARE HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, AND THEY ALWAYS COMMUNICATE WITH ME PRIOR TO SHOWING UP. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED WITH THEM.
