Quality of the lawn treatments was fine and they came as scheduled. However, the worker left our gate open twice and our dogs later got out as I didn’t realize they had left it open. I called after the first time and asked that they be more careful. After the second time, I canceled my service.

Yvonne was really eager to gain my business, because she called me less than a minute after I submitted my interest on Angie's list for lawn care. She very quickly went over their services and really wanted me to give her my credit card so they could get started immediately. I told her that I was shopping around, checking prices and services offered, and would call her back. She wanted to know what time she could call me back this afternoon to get started. I told her again that I would call them back after I heard from other companies. She said "You're not interested in our services", then hung up on me. Well, I guess she is right. With customer service like that, I will never be interested in their services.

I am not sure of the exact cost, I paid it ahead. I paid the year. I also used their shrub around the house service for pest control, and some tree service.

Our lawn remains green all through the season... and most of the year.

Great at first. Then service started to really fall off. I got rid of them after one of there guys showed up for pest and don't think he knew I was home. Because he was here a total of 5 minutes and just ran through back yard. That was dispute, wanted to charge $90 . I told manager but didn't believe me. I never paid it. My mother has had just the same experience with them some 4or 5 years later.

I asked them to wait two weeks for the initial application. They came out in two days and did my lawn. They promised a full lawn evaluation, analysis, etc. Instead, the guy zipped over the lawn with his riding fertilizer, spraying out the side quickly as he went. Seems like a decent price if you need fertilization etc, but definitely not a tailored experience.

They are a pretty large company. I regularly schedule services with them. I don't feel like their chemicals are doing enough to kill off the weeds in the lawn. They were very pleasant and tried to resolve the issue but it just didn't get resolved. Maybe they can give a partial refund of services.

I have been happy with them because my yard had been neglected for a long time. Punctuality has never been an issue but they don't tell you when they're coming. There is not so much contact with the workers that come by.

We pay monthly over the course of the year for five applications.

It was okay the first few years and they started bringing new people around. They weren't doing our full lawn like the previous years. I videotaped it and they weren't doing our whole lawn but they were charging us for the whole lawn. The guy even tried to argue with me that did our lawn saying, 'I did your lawn'. I said 'No, you didn't because I have it on video tape'. They just sprayed for root weeds, weed control, grass control and to make our grass greener. They were originally doing that then they just stopped doing the backyard. They would only do the front yard but bill us for the full amount. They did so well for so many years. They always gave us Deals so the price was good.

My dad use to work for them many years ago so that is why I use them. They do what they have to do and leave a door tag for me and I never talk to them. Good quality and on time. Excellent customer service.

I have been using the company for 3 years. They do what they say they will. They make sure to inform they will be coming out. I have not dealt with the staff too much. They come out as needed and according to their schedule. We do not have to be home while they do the service. The yard looks good.

This is the first time we have used their services. We had hoped to get better control of the crabgrass. Their treatment was supposed to get more control over it, but we didn't notice any difference in that area. Their treatment was fine for everything else.

It is a good experience. We have a contract with them. Their prices are pretty competitive. They come whenever they do. They don't give a time.

This is our third year using Tru Green and we are very pleased with how our lawn looks. This year we had them start doing our back yard as well and it is start to get a lot thicker and we see less weeds.

They are to apply a lawn food in late winter,(Around February 1), June 1st, July 4th Sept.1st and late fall(Early November), at my request. They seem to be around these time but not always on time. The lawn so far looks to be doing fine but we have been having weekly rains so the lawn is not only fertilized but watered by Mother Nature as well. We have had no real problems with them in the 12 or so years we have had them. The only problem we have had was in the first couple of years we had trouble getting them to follow our dates of application. Now things are going well. This Company wants to administer 6 or 7 applications a year and we want only 5 so each year we need to explain these to them.

The cost is extremely reasonable. I had made a complaint once and they responded quickly and took care of the problem. Scheduling an appointment is easy.

it went very well. They are really very customer service oriented. They are also very knowledgeable about the problems grass has and more than willing to inform you and try to help with any problem areas. You couldn't ask for nicer, more capable people.

I have used them for the past 3 years. They do a good job. They meet my requirements, thier price is good compared to others, they offered a discount for the 4 years. They look beyond what they were contracted to do. In the winter time when there is no lawn, they do installations. They did install my attic.

I have used this service for at least 25 years. My lawn looks very nice, especially in the spring. Last year was the first year I did not receive good service. My lawn had weeds and when I called to have it reapplied they did not return as guaranteed. I have spoken with this years? service man and he seems much more interested in doing a good job. I considered dropping the service after last year?s poor performance but decided to see how this season goes. As with everything the price keeps going up. Soon they may price themselves out of a job with me.

They have done very well us. Our lawn service is always here on time. They are very professional. They do really well for us. I think this is the fourth year that we have had them out there.

My service with Trugreen was not acceptable. When the service man came to apply the treatments, he was in and out in less than 5 minutes over an area of 9500 square feet. If I stopped him to ask him a question about a problem with the yard his answer was vague and that there was not anything different he could do. I felt like the only thing the tech was good for was spraying and was not a true expert on lawn care. I was constantly fighting weeds, having to go out and hand dig them up or spray them myself every week. They did come back out to retreat when called but it would be a week to a week and half before they would come. Leaving the dandelions plenty of time to bloom and then reseed. There was always dandelions along my driveway and side walks leaving me to believe that the treatment they use never reached these areas. After one year of service my lawn looked worse not only with dandelions but with many different new weeds. I had also paid in advance for the whole season for all the service they were to apply. Every once in a while I would be charged for the service I had already paid for, I would then have to call and get it cleared up. I canceled my service with them (I have a cancellation conf #) but I am still receiving calls from them trying to set up service for this year and trying to sell me more stuff.

We have used this service for several years. They have gotten progressively more high-pressure sales oriented but at least the lawn looked good until this year. The lawn has never looked worse. Presently it is full of weeds, crabgrass, goosegrass, dandelions, thistles, anything you can think of that residential lawns in the Dayton area could have. I have not changed the level of service this year is relation to past years. It takes a while to get through to them on the phone, the cyclical phone message is annoying, I made two calls in a week, the first one never got a return response. The second one initiated a weed treatment at no cost but also with no appointment or notification they were coming. I happened to be home at the time and showed the representative the weeds and the problem. We have a large lawn, including the time I talked to him, he was done with the job and gone in less than ten minutes. We'll see what happens. The only reason I would not rate them a D at this point is that I may not have called to complain soon enough. We may not be using them again next year.

It took multiple phone calls to the local and regional management to get my money refunded.
