Pro Cut Landscape Development

Fantastic. They are excellent. Every time I deal with them they exceed my expectations. This is one of the few providers that I have found on Angies list that consistently provide excellent service.

They did a good job. They were on time and got the job done effectively. I would use them again.

It went very well. They finished in two hours. The Angies List package was for four hours yard work, so they will come back in the fall for leaf clean up.

Came to give estimate for the landscape and mulch. Even though the 8 hour landscape service was out of thhe area they provided , when asked if we can combine the big deal, Mark said that should be fine. Gave an estimate for the mulch application in our front yard. Came a day before to mark every thing where thhe mulch needs to be placed etc. Came the next day and went pretty smooth, cleaned up after the yard work was done.

Completely professional and fast workers, I would EASILY have them back the next year to do it again. I deal with a lot of contractors and it's great when one shows up on time, answers questions, and does a great job. These guys are great!

Almost one year later and I have nothing but weeds. I have been very patient and Pro-Cut has come back 3 times but the fact remains I have nothing but weeds and even that is very spotty. It is clear to me the area was not prepared properly as I still see wood chips coming up through the soil. They have stopped returning my emails and when I call no one answers. I have asked for a refund but have been told they have to much time invested. I understand how they feel. See I invested $350 in having an area of my lawn reseeded and have nothing to show for my investment. I don't like writing bad reviews but I am beyond frustrated. I planned to use them for a paver patio this fall but that work will be going elsewhere.

Mike called as the appointment time drew near to make sure that I had my TO DO LIST ready. After I showed Mike what I wanted done ,they got to work. They finished everything on my list in half the time allowed and gave me the option to save two hours for fall clean up. I could not have been happier. I will certainly use their services in the future.

This company is responsive, prompt and professional. We handled scheduling through email and Angie's messaging. The work was done quickly with efficient clean up. I will call them again.

Arrived at 12:59 for 1:00 appointment. Immediately went to work, blowing mulch into flowerbeds without harming plants. Did thorough clean-up job, and were on their way by 1:50. I continue to be impressed by this company's professionalism and efficiency.

This is one of the best $220 I've ever spent. It was not much more expensive than buying mulch and laying it ourselves without any of the work. It was a bit difficult to get into the schedule, but it was well worth the wait. Looks great.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out very well. I paid more because I needed more mulch. I waited to call them and then they came out the same week that I called them. This is a huge vacuum truck, and it comes with immense hoses, and within 2 hours or less, the mulch is totally blown in, cleaned up, mess gone, and they are out of there. I thought they did a fabulous job.The price was excellent, because of what I got. Normally I would have to pay for the mulch, and then pay someone to lay it down. They are excellent.

Rich and Paul will call you to set up an appointment. They will ask you questions so that their staff bring the right equipment to the job. They will make sure you are happy with their services. The staff that come to the house are kind, courteous and so helpful. Have used them at least 3 times and will continue to use them for our yard maintenance.

mike and crew came out to tidy up our place, which we had moved into. The previous owner had not lived in the house for some time, and other than maintaining the lawn, nothing had been kept up. They came out and worked hard after discussing my priorities with me. After completing this portion of work, Mike took the time to discuss the next steps of my wish list with me, and the best way to go about accomplishing what I wanted while staying within budget.

Went very well. Had 4 men total working, they arrived on time. I talked with the supervisor prior to work starting as to what I would like done. They pulled up as many weeds around the house as time would allow, provided information as to what I can do next year to prevent the overgrowth of weeds. They placed a sheet of weed barrier, (I had purchased and had available), and then applied mulch to front and sides of house. Fully cleaned up following the 4 hours of work they did. Very pleasant, professional group of workers!

The guy sent a couple of college kids at 330 on Friday afternoon. They stayed for a couple of hours, but then had to come back later. They agreed to trim one especially large bush, but never did. I called the Company and talked to one of the managers, who said he would talk to the owner to make things right. Never heard back. I think the owner is using this "discount" to fill in around his core business during the week. I suppose it works well sometimes, but not in my case.

Rich Bing came out to look over the job, make some recommendations as to how many Angie's List coupons I needed to purchase in order to complete the job, and also what I could do on my end to prep the job for them and save some money. It took some time to get it scheduled, but I was anxious as the growing season is basically over. We spent a lot of money getting the terraces and stone put in, so we had to save up some money to have the job finished and gardens prepped. The coupons only paid for the man hours, I bought 2 coupons for 8 man hours each to the tune of $680. Five guys came out and spent a total of 18 man hours. Rich came out also but did not charge for his time. The equipment was extra as was the materials used. Most of the job I was very pleased with. The only thing I was disappointed with was the area at the top was not smoothed out, so we have to go back and finish it ourselves before planting grass seed. Rich was very helpful with his recommendations of what weed killer to use, and general lawn care suggestions. I was emailed the final invoice before the last truck left the driveway. No time was wasted there!

It didn't "go" and I'm still waiting for the refund on the "coupon" I bought through Angies List. If I could make a suggestion, I would hope you discontinue listing Pro Cut Landscape Development as a provider to Stow OH residents. Apparently, it's too far of a drive. So, because the "Address Where Work Was Performed" has red asterisks (indicating they are mandatory fields) I had to fudge it....no services were performed, but I appreciated the prompt response from the provider so I could look elsewhere. Maybe you guys need to tweak your "service area" criteria a bit. Overall, I'm glad they didn't string me along unnecessarily. Call it beginner's luck. :) I really do think your service is awesome and I hope to have success with the contact I just made. God bless. PS I also don't appreciate having to rate the "Overall" question without the option of "NA" since they did nothing for me except tell me I lived too far away. Not sure why Stow is out of bounds from Valley City, but apparently it is.

I bought the coupon online for 4 man-hours of work. I explained what I needed done over the phone and arranged a date and time for them to do the work. Even though no one was here they must have finished the patio in less than 4 man hours so they cleaned my front porch. I truly appreciated the great job they did as well as the honesty.

I was told they would have everything needed. They didn't have the proper tools to cut the railroad ties. Had to use my husbands chainsaw. Didn't have the proper tool to drive rebar through the ties. Had to use my husbands sledge. And because it took them so long I had to pay extra.

Very quick and efficient delivery and placement of blown mulch in existing flower beds without damage to growing plants. Love the service.

Pro-Cut arrived when they said they would, performed the exact services they were asked to do and did it in a very professional manner. My foundation plantings around my house had become infested with all sorts of weeds and fungal growths and the mulch looked as though it had been applied at about a half inch thick. Some of the bushes needed trimming and the front of my house wasn't what I wanted my neighbors to look at. The Pro-Cut Team came in and with very little direction, made the foundation plantings look beautiful. Additional mulch was needed and was provided at a very reasonable rate. I am extremely pleased with their work and am considering having them back on an annual basis to 'refresh' my outside look. Thanks Pro-Cut!

The first thing I didn't like is that it had an automated answering service where I left a message on 8/23/13. I did get a call back on Monday 8/23/13 from a what sounded like a 20 something kid asking what I needed done. I explained the multiple jobs I had at which time I was told my name would be passed on to Rich, the owner, and he would call to make an appointment. Why he couldn't do that, I'm not sure, but I already did not feel comfortable with this outfit. The kid sounded very inexperienced and did not "engage" in conversation which makes me think they just have someone call just to make contact in a timely manner. Anyway, due to the fact that the past two years I have been dealing with people that are not nearly as knowledgeable as they present themselves and because I already did not have a good feeling about them, I said that before he passed my name along I wanted to tell him what I was ultimately looking for, beyond the work that needed done. That would be someone that is knowledgeable in plants that could suggest plants to be used, that would place them in the correct area (ie. shade plants, sun loving plants, wet soil, dry soil etc) and that once they are placed would instruct me on how to maintain them to give them the best chance of growing. I would want to know how much to water, when to water, when to prune, fertilize, etc. I then asked if he thought that could be provided. His response was a "Hmmm, well, hmmmm, um, hmmm" until I stopped him and said that clearly from that hesitation, they were the company for me. He agreed that if that was what I was looking for that I should probably look for another company. I was actually grateful for the honesty, but had to laugh at the response. First the incredible hemming and hawing and then the agreement. Needless to say, I'm so glad I didn't waste any time on this company. Maybe they're more of a maintenance company, not sure. I didn't give them an "F" only because someone did call me back and he was very nice, just not very good at what he does. I have run several companies and would not have this kid as the first contact. In my opinion, it's very indicative of what was to come later.
