When I heard back from Pro Cut, after purchasing the deal, from the 3 dates I recommended for service, they chose the one furthest away. I was disappointed, but they said they were very busy. After I waited nearly three weeks for the initial appointment to arrive, I received a phone call the night before: they explained they were short-handed and they would be late to arrive. They never arrived. When I called the next day, they apologized and said they would call me back to reschedule my appointment. After a couple days, since they never called me back, I called them and was given a new appointment on the spot. Nobody ever showed up for that appointment either. I called halfway through the time they should have been working, to see if they were running late. The man I spoke with said he couldn't find me on their calendar, so he'd have to investigate what went wrong and call me back to reschedule. I have given him a full week to schedule a new appointment for me, but he still hasn't called me back. I would like to get a refund, so I can take my money to a different landscaper and get my work done. Thank you.

Crew called 30 minutes ahead of arrival. Walked around the home identifying beds to be mulched. Started work, dropped mulch, hand spread around flower beds. Cleaned the area around the home and street. Crew of 3 was efficient completed the work quickly but efficiently. Would highly recommend company

They showed up on time, 3 workers. Worked the alloted time as the package was an 8 man hour deal. The only complaint I have is that they tried to get us to extend the purchase to include more work on the back of the house by coming the following day for pick up of the debris.

In the past 2 years the company did a great job and blew the mulch wherever we wanted. Not so this year. We never got an arrival time estimate which Pat promised. Two men in a dump truck showed up prior to my getting home. Because they had to wheelbarrow all the mulch it was a sloppy job and did not seem like the 5 yards I received in prior years. Brandon was very vocal by the lack of effort of his helper and had to redo most of his work. They also tramped down some of our flowers. I was left with mulch dirt in my garage and driveway. Old mulch and some leaves showed through the beds after they were done showing only a very thin layer of new coverage. We were told the truck had 10 yards of mulch; 5 for me and 5 for my neighbor. If you cut the load in half and then cut one half again, that's what I got. While doing next door Brandon says he is going to have 2+ yards left and if I called the office they would charge me $70 - $80 dollars per yard extra but if I give him $100 he would give it to me. I declined and called pat at the office who said they would make everything right and apologized for the problems.

Pro Cut did an excellent job installing the mulch and river rocks. You have to schedule them in March if you want a Spring delivery.

very impressed with recommendation for the landscape. they did the right thing for the health of the plants and didn't take the easy way out. such a beautiful job in laying up the stone accents in the island. true artists!

We are very happy with this company. Our experience with them: 1. They are professional in their dealing with us. 2. They offered a very fair estimate 3. They showed up on time, put down the mulch and cleaned up after the service. 4. We received a phone call from the company while the mulch was being applied to make sure we follow up with them if the service was acceptable or non acceptable. We will use them again for future landscaping needs.. Way to go Pro Cut!

It was ok, but not as good as other times I’ve had them out. They were to do spring clean-up and necessary sprucing up and spreading mulch for the summer. They were to trim bushes and edge garden beds as well. The crew was not as other crews I’ve had in the past. I had to call the manager to explain that one of the three workers was hardly doing anything. The manager then instructed the crew to stay until the work was done, regardless of how long it took. They listened to what the complaint was and I’ve never had trouble with them in the past. They corrected the problem and satisfied the customer, which is important.

I had to purchase mulch and more time to get the job finished. But they were courteous and organized. We look good, and, yes I'd use them again.

I had a lot of issue in the past with landscaping company. First time I used this company they were great and I was very happy so I called them again. Well that was a mistake. First issue is they did not show up. They sent an email telling me that they were not coming. They sent the email after I left for work so I had no idea. If you are going to cancel that morning you have to call someone. They did not follow up at all. I had to call them on what was going on. Also you would think they would try to please me because of the mix up but no. I still had to take another day off work to get the work done. I should have just walked away but I want the work done and they done such a great job last year. The work was OK at best nothing great and they left before the 8 hours were done. But the biggest issue is the mulch they put down. They put very little down and it was mix with stones so now my dark brown mulch looks awful. I did not notice the issue until it rained and the stone became visible. I would stay away from this company because you have no idea what you are going to get.

They came a few days after the estimate which was very good. Some years ago we waited for weeks for other companies They had 4 workers, our outside area is not big. We live in a cluster development. They did a GREAT JOB! PLUS THE COST WAS ALMOST HALF OF ANOTHER LANDSCAPER I got an estimate from. Our courtyards are beautiful because of all their work.

Good job on removal and planting of bushes. Leaf clean up my husband thought could have been better but he was told it was because of how windy it was. Not happy they were about 1hr and 45 minl later then they said would be here. They didn't call to advise me they would be late and I was waiting so I could tell them what I wanted done before another appt which I missed. I had to call the office to find out if they were still coming. Had they called and told me they would be late I could have made other arrangements for the appointment I missed. Not sure if would use them again. They came out last year and we were happy with ther service.

The company told me that they would be there at noon, however they did not arrive until 1:00 and I did not get a call or anything about them being late. I honestly did not know if they were actually going to show. They came and asked me where I wanted the rocks and I showed them the areas. There were 3 men working and I honestly do not know what they did for most of the time they were there. The guy in charge of the crew came to me at about 1:40 and told me that there time was almost up! I was astounded since they had only been there 40 minutes. The only thing I really saw them do was blow out some of the leaves and trim some of the bushes. The man in charge came at 2:20 and told me that the time was up and asked me to sign a paper with the time they left and my signature. After they left I walked around my property to see the work that had been done. My mother was staying with me at the time and she agreed with me that you could not tell that ANYTHING had been done. My flower beds were still full of weeds and leaves. The few bushes that they trimmed they just left the trimmings under the bushes and there were sticks and branches throughout the flower beds. They did not trim half of the trees and bushes on our property. This was the 1st transaction that I had made through Angie's List as we are new to the site and I was very excited about it. However, I have to say I feel that I was scammed by this "deal". I contacted the company and he told me that a 3 man crew should have been there for 2 hours and 40 minutes not the hour and twenty minutes they were here. He asked me to give him another date that they could come out and finish the time. I responded about a week later since I honestly did not know when I would be available again due to our crazy end of the school year schedule and I have not heard back from them to confirm. I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone else.

We had a bad storm; he is doing a lot of work for the yard. He came the first time and took out a tree and put in a new tree, also mulched different areas. Since we live on a hill and with the bad weather, we decided to wait on the laying the stones. He agreed and just said to call him and he would finish the job. He was very cooperative with this entire process.

Purchased Big Deal. Scheduling was very easy. Crew did an excellent job. We have used this company for several projects in the past and will continue to use in the future.

Two guys came and laid out all of the mulch - cleaned up afterward so there was nothing on sidewalks or street. We were very happy with the job that they did.

My property was in the market for a new lawn care company so I sought out Pro Cut to complete a small job with the hopes that if done satisfactorily I could request future contractual services from them. I purchased a spring cleaning coupon from the AL site which was like 30% off or something. I chose them because they had high reviews, had been in business a long time, and offered the discount. Time and date as well as instructions were communicated through the Angies List messaging system. The person I spoke with agreed to my requests for picking up any leaves and debris and mowing if needed. I made special mention of tar strips that needed removal from the plow damage for the winter. The time and date had to be rescheduled due to rain and we easily made arrangements again through the messaging service. I received a call on the day of the rescheduled service from someone from the company asking me what we wanted completed. Some may consider this thorough but I find this annoying, since I already detailed my request in writing. Why the information was not dispersed to the crew I'm not certain. I explained what we requested to the person on the phone. I came home to a semi-clean yard meaning that although they picked up debris and discarded it as requested it was not spotless: the beds in front of the building looked decent, but the yard still had a few leaves hear or there, lastly the tar strips were forgotten and left to the side as if the crew began to pick them up but forgot. I didn't bother calling them to complain because frankly that would take more effort than going around and picking up the debris on my own. I just wish I could claim them as reliable like other reviews but sadly no. I will not be using them again. So it appears I paid for what I got: a 30% discount for 30% less work. Note: This is a 4-unit condominium of which we share contract coordinating responsibilities, and although I wasn't present for the clean-up, another tenant was.

Excellent Job.. Would definitely use them again. The "brains" Joe was very professional and knowledgeable. Not only did they do an excellent job in blowing in the mulch, but they were very professional in maintaining a high quality of respect for my existing foliage and landscaping. It was a better quality of mulch that I normally have brought out and installed by my own landscaper and even with the additional two yards, it was less expensive to use Pro Cut Landscape. I was in the process of reseeding 1/2 acre of clay soil. Joe informed me the correct process which in turn saved me time and money.

They arrived on the day we decided on, they we on time an efficient. Even though the mulch was spread by shooting it out of a hose not by hand but it was cleaned up and look good.

They were wonderful...did a great job, cleaned up everything. Would recommend them to anyone.
