Jimmy has helped us a couple of times before and always been great. Today was no different - in fact, he exceeded my expectations. Our water tank went out. I called him around 3pm or so hoping he'd be available the next day since it was already mid afternoon - he came the same evening! He replaced our water tank and it's as if he wasn't there - clean, neat, removed everything. Nice guy. Professional. Helpful. The next time we need a plumber, I'll be calling Jimmy.

Really well. Our tenant contacted us Sunday night informing us of a leak with the shower, indicating the faucets probably weren't closing fully. We contacted Jim on Monday morning, and he was able to arrange a team with the tenant and head over later that day. He had previously given a non-binding estimate of $175 for such a repair (he had not seen it at the time). The actual fix came to $200, and both the tenant & us as landlords were very pleased - with the work and the speed at which it was accomplished. We will be contacting Jim for any other plumbing problems for our rental property in the future.

Jimmy and his colleague were able to come to our house the same day to see what was going on. They did some investigating and determined the issues, gave me some options for resolution, and even took pictures so I could share with my husband. Charged me far less than his typical service call. While we may do this repair ourself, Pepera Plumbing will always be our first call in the future.

These guys were great. Easy to schedule, and they were right on time. The job was a bit more complicated than originally intended, as I asked them to relocate the water heater from where it was (wedged between the furnace and the wall) to a more open space, so it involved some extra work in routing the lines. One of the fittings turned out to be defective (it happens), and that resulted in a small gas leak, which they stopped out the next morning to take care of. I was very satisfied with the work and their service ethic, and would definitely use them again for plumbing work.

Jimmy arrived within a few hours of us calling him. When he arrived, the clogged drain had resolved itself on its own, and so he did not charge us.

Another excellent service call with this plumber. He came out right away. He and his assistant were pleasant, polite, and professional. Took care of everything easily. This is an excellent plumbing service!!

This past February, during an extreme cold spell, we had pipes that burst in the ceiling of our garage. Initial response was within a couple of hours of my 6AM call. Came out same day, quickly identified the source (our whirlpool tub), and capped off the pipes as a temporary solution. This addressed the immediate issue while also allowing for water usage in the remainder of the master bath. While performing the work, their cell phones were going off non-stop with calls from others with similar issues. The response to each call (at least those that I overheard) was professional, courteous, and offered suggestions to the callers with steps they should take until they could arrive on premise. A couple of days after the initial call, they returned to replace a shut-off valve (I over-torqued it), and just recently came back recently to repair the pipes that were capped off back in February (I wanted to wait for warmer weather before repair). They were quick, reasonably priced, professional, and cleaned up well. Would use them again without hesitation.

It went very well. He camed promptly the next day. Snaking the washing machine drain was not easy, but he kept at it until it was taken care of. He was very knowledgable about the kind of pipes in my house and how to take care of them. He was very pleasant and professional. Excellent plumber ---would highly recommend him. Use him with confidence!

Jimmy came the early the next day after my call about our hot water in the kitchen sink not flowing properly, and took about 15 minutes to fix the problem. He then replaced the inner workings of the upstairs toilet that made a gutteral sound when it flushed, and was running slightly all the time. I appreciate Jimmy's honesty and professionalism, and will not hesitate to call him again for our plumbing needs.

I have a strange situation in my house where there is a counter covering the toilet. When I contacted Jimmy I told him the situation, and he had me send him a picture as well as measure the height off the ground. When he came to the house he ended up bringing a toilet that was too tall for the space. We ended up having to install the toilet with no lid on it. I decided to just keep it as a temporary solution, but when we looked it up later online it was obvious there were many toilets that would have fit in the space, and I did send him the measurements. When he left he told me he was going to send me a receipt the same day, but even when I emailed him later I still never got a receipt.

When Jim returned my call, he made sure to ask the necessary questions to determine what the proper size would be for a replacement tank so there would be no delays.. He showed up promptly with his assistant and proceeded to drain and remove the old defective tank, clean the area, and replace and reroute our plumbing so we would have an easier access to the water filter. The entire process was completed in three to four hours and looks great. It's nice to have water flow back in the house without having to worry about the strain on the well pump. We will definitely have Pepera Plumbing back to complete more repairs when the weather warms up. A job well done!!!

Jim and his partner arrived at 8:15 a.m. left about 10:00 a.m. They snaked the bathtub, cleaning it out really well. They were very careful to either wear special booties or just socks as they walked around the house. Cleaned up after themselves well. Also they did not push for further fixes as we had a leak in the pipe going to the tub. They said they would put electrical tape on it and it might last for a few months. We wanted a new pipe to stop the leak completely, which was what they thought would be best. We will call them in the future for more plumbing work.

He did a great job. H showed up really quick which was great. Because we had a pipe that burst in our garage and he was able to come. On close different times, his response time was very quick and he did a great job. We hired him a second time for another issue. He fixed the problem and he also did some stuff to kind of prevent. I get some valves because I'm living in older house. They weren't shutting off completely and he was able to actually replace some stuff for us. He did even more than what we initially called him to do. He was great. I thought his price was fair. He was really responsive.

Two thumbs up! (And if I had more than two thumbs, he'd get those too!) I called him on Sunday morning after our bathtub faucet wouldn't turn off and we scheduled for him to come at 7AM on Monday morning. He showed up promptly at 7AM and got right to work. He knew exactly what needed to be done, worked quickly, and was done by 7:45AM. He was very professional and pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend Pepera Plumbing!

We just moved into our house and knew we needed a plumber. On Angie's List, we found about five names and phone numbers of plumbers who could do this job. When contacted, they refused to do the job because it was too small. However, when Jim was contacted, he stated he would be there on Friday, August 29. When they arrived, they introduced themselves. Wow! Talk about personable! It took Jim a few minutes to do this connection and a few minutes to converse with him to realize that this was our "go to guy" for our plumbing issues. We have had further work done: replacing one of our sump pumps, replace all the commodes (3 of them), a laundry tub in the basement as there was none there, installing the water filter on our kitchen sink (my husband spent three hours trying to do this then stated: call Jim!), and there will be more work for him. We needed an electrician to put in more outlets in our basement. Jim gave us a referral. The electrician did an excellent job, too!

It was suggested to us to have a plumber evaluate some plumbing issues which arose from a home inspection. I explained to Jim the issue and informed him a specialist was coming to look at other concerns with the house. Jim suggested we wait for the other inspection to be completed and if we were going to still purchase the house he would come out and look at the plumbing. He answered my plumbing concerns over the phone, he was courteous and patient. It ended up we did not purchase the house so we did not use Jim's services. Both times I called Jim he answered the phone, was professional and took plenty of time answering all my questions. i would definitely call him again if I needed any plumbing consultations or work done.

Old water heater stopped providing hot water on a Tuesday. First tried to deal with a couple of "big box" stores, but was disappointed in both cases. Joined Angie's List on Thursday morning and selected Pepera Plumbing. When I called, I got an immediate answer from owner Jim Pepera. As promised, he appeared that same afternoon to survey installation conditions. I agreed to his quote and the new heater was installed and the old heater removed later the same day. Excellent work - professional, neat and complete. I assigned a B grade for price only because Pepera Plumbing offers a 15% senior discount on Angie's List, but did not honor it. Although Jim did accept a $50.00 coupon printed from Angie's List, he seemed surprised to hear he was offering a 15% senior discount on the site and would not agree to do a $1,500.00 job for $1,275.00 and said he would have to walk away from the job if I insisted. The 15% senior discount offered is misleading and Jim should have it removed. That being said, I believe the overall price was excellent for the product and service we received. Jim is our new plumber of choice.

Contacted Pepera's directly to schedule appointment for cleaning main line. Jimmy was responsive and we scheduled for the next day. He is a busy guy and had a number of jobs going on, but was able to fit me in. He and his assistant were very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. They ran the auger through the mainline from inside the basement, but we could not find the clog. He was then able to locate our outside cleanout plug and they proceeded to dig down to open the plug and run the auger from there as well. We have been in our home for 18 years and never were able to locate our outside cleanout - turned out it was nearly 2 ft. below the surface. They ran the auger through the outside line for 100 feet and still found no clogs, but the basement floor drains were still backed up. He discussed everything with me and his assistant and decided to get additional cable and his sewer camera from his shop to find out where the problem was. They retrieved what they needed, came back to the house and proceeded to run the camera through the lines. He explained to me everything they saw along the way including a strange configuration where the main line from the house joined the outside sewer line at the opposite angle. He then proceeded to attack the clog from inside again using the camera as they maneuvered the auger around the wye connector. Lo and behold, the clog was broken up and the nasty water rushed through the pipes out to the sewer - no more backup! Jimmy is a class guy and was persistent about finding and resolving the problem. He and his assistant included me in the conversations about what they were doing and I never felt I was in the way while they went about their work. I was thrilled that they were able to find my outside cleanout - I am a DIY'er and said I would raise the pipe up to the surface and put a new plug in. Jimmy took the time to tell me how to do it and did not try to sell me on saying only he should do it. He was fair, honest, and reliable - I would definitely recommend Pepera Pumbing to others and would call them again if needed.

We did end up using a plumber off of Angie's List. I think the company was Pepera. I think they were good with, we have pretty old plumbing in the house and some of the plumbers don't really know how to do it, they just want to replace it all, but these guys were totally willing to work with it. Overall the job went well. They seemed pretty average on price. Overall I give them an 'A' compared to the other ones that I have experienced. I think we did get an Angie's List coupon for that. They did very good work. They were fast. We didn't have an emergency so they were fine as far as I can tell. They were good at professionalism. We would call them back in the future if needed.

His team was on time and are very professional. Will recommend to anyone.

There were a few glitches with this company. First, we had an appointment scheduled for one day, and they didn't show up and I didn't get a phone call until later that evening that another job had taken them much longer than anticipated. When they did come a couple of days later (when we re-scheduled for), they did a good job. The second issue that occurred was that one of the bathrooms was left a mess after the installation, and they had used one of my hand towels was used to clean up some things and its now stained. Overall, it went fine and the toilets were installed and are working.
