+ -1 moreThey came and trimmed the broken branch. Didn't even know they were here. Provided estimate for trimming branches of oak tree off garage. Asked about age of driveway (one year old) and that they would not drive the bucket truck on the driveway. Told me that they don't trim oak trees until the late fall due to diseases that can be spread. Very nice and knowledgeable.

+ 0 moreThey came out right away, he was very good and we were very happy with them. What we liked about this company was that he was really informative. He could name all the trees that we have, what was going on with them, what we needed to do, what we needed to watch for. We gathered a lot of information and realized what we could and could not do with the trees. Actually he did not charge us that day. There were certain complications and he gave us certain suggestions on what we can and could not do. The reason he could not remove the tree was because the machinery was too big for the space and told how we could take care of it.
Description of Work: We had The Davey Tree Co who advised us on a tree being removed. They also do landscaping as far as bringing the dirt in and putting it down.

+ 1 moreThey are excellent, I will not be using them for eight years if they're not. Also their price is reasonable.
Description of Work: They do my shrub fertilizing and the shrub pruning and annual clean up. And they spray the Ash tree once a year, and they have been doing that for eight years to keep the tree from getting eaten up by an ash borer.

+ 3 moreThey come out in person and go through everything with you. Their prices are very reasonable. They know what they are talking about and actually go to school for it and know what trees to best. They show up on time. The same guy you talk to about the service comes out with the workers and directs them.
Description of Work: They were here last week to fertilize and will be back next week for more services.

+ 1 moreThey do excellent work. I have been using them for years. My front lawn is gorgeous. They come out without having to call. I like the quality of their work. Their price is cheaper than other landscapers I have used. I like that they have insurance. It is a very personalized service. One person who take care of you and comes out and gets to know you.
Description of Work: He has taken some trees down. They do my bushes and lawns. They have treated my trees for disease.

+ -1 moreI was looking for certified arborists to do the work. I left a message requesting an estimate and was contacted within an hour or two. Bob came to the house when it was convenient for me. He spent a lot of time looking over the work and answering questions. He was very professional and polite. The estimate came in higher than another arborist. However, I would have no problem recommending others contact Davey to bid a job.
Description of Work: An estimate was requested for trimming several small elms and a few large maples.
