Was charged more than I was quoted. I am a senior and a veteran living on a fixed income ,I received a verbal quote of $440.00 for the job. When the invoice arrived it was for $474.10 , I mailed a check to them and left a bad review, I was contacted and told they would fix it. They sent me a credit memo for $31.65 , I don't need a credit memo it will not pay my other bills.

This company provided a price quote in a timely manner, the point of contact was very professional, their proposal was also very professional. Their quoted price was double what another provider quoted so I did not use this company.

Went very smoothly and cleanly by very efficient employee.

It took over 2 weeks to get any response. By then my tree had been cut down for 12 days. Responding time is not very good.

The quote was literally almost four times higher than one other quotes I got, and twice that of others. The salesperson who came out claimed to be an arborist, but mis-identified my crab apple tree first as a buckeye, then as a dogwood, then as a cherry tree! If you know trees at all, you would not confuse all of these types of trees (especially not the first two).

Great. The crew was excellent and knew what they were doing. A certified arborist supervised the work. Two neighbors hired them to do work for them on the spot. It was a very good experience . They also cleaned up what was a big mess too. Would hire Davey Tree Service again.

They're prompt.They're professional. I don't find them to be the cheapest by any means. We did what we needed to do to get it done quickly. Price is probably fine. I'd probably shop, but I'd probably use him again.

When we interviewed all the people we chose them because they had a horticulturist and they explained how they would protect the house and the yard. They were professional, on time and knowledgeable. There was no damage and the trees were beautiful.

There was no damage to our roof and when we called them they said "if you know there is no damage, we would like to remove all the dead things for people who have damage on our list and then we will get to yours. That really impressed us. That was very impressive and responsible of the company. When they came to remove our big old branch out of our yard they cleaned up every single speck of tree garbage and took it all away. We knew they were professional and we knew they did a good job but I didn't expect for them to get every single twig out of our yard and I didn't have to go do any of it.

It was just four Maples for a couple hundred bucks.Well, because I use them every year and I know their work. I allow them to come out at their convenience. They just put the time and date. They always leave a notice on the door, and you can see the evidence. You can see that they fertilized it.

I was not particularly happy. They did not live up to what their original estimate was going to be. I ended up paying them about $850, but they were not happy that I only paid them that amount since they felt that I owe them twice that much. I told them no because they did not do twice as much work that they said they were going to do to begin with. I told them I would pay them half of it and that is all. So, that is what I did. The work was fine. I was not happy with the way they handled me as the home owner. I think their price was high. They did part of what I asked them to do. They did not finish the job, but what they did was okay. They did not show up when they said they were going to. When they did show up, they did not tell me they were even here. So, I was not aware of what they were doing. Basically, their customer service was not good. Their customer service lacks in several areas and I think they are too high priced.

I had used the company prior for tree maintenance. Requested estimate for tree trimming and removal of trees. I also got estimates from three other Angie List companies. Davey was way over in price, was not itemized as I had requested, and included "extra" things I didn't ask for. Because I had a relationship with the company I called the rep back and explained I would like to use their service but the vast difference in price. He said he would return and redo the estimate. I left work early to match his schedule, he came, handed me the "new" estimate and immediately left before I had even looked at it. It was the same price and included the extra items I told him we weren't interested in. I called him and asked if there was an error; he said no that he had added those extra items in so it was a great deal. It worked out in the end as I used another Angie provider who gave great service and am a regular customer of them.

They arrived early and came to greet me at the door, then started to cut the trees, it took them around the time he said it would. They then cleaned up and were very prompt and knowing of what they were doing and acted like pure professionals. It was neat to see, and then they chopped the stumps to basically mulch and cleaned up after themselves again. When Justin came out, he was the nicest man and gave me a few quotes and they were the best quotes out of 4.

As far as I know everythings there's no problem. The yard looks decent and everything. I don't know of any problems. They come whenever they can and leave a note that they've been here. We send in in March what we want done and we don't have to be here when they do it and they leave a slip on the door that it's been done. What I usually do is either once or twice or by the end of the year that everything has been done that we requested and so far it has been. Last year I had to skip one because I had to mow the yard because I had to leave. That was the only problem that I had and that was a year ago.

They did okay. I do not think they are the cheapest. They do automatic billing. I just keep them because they are so convenient.

They did very well. I would use them again.

Our salesman, Justin Burger was excellent to work with. Justin kept us informed every 'step' of the way with this large project. The crews did super work, very efficient, worked hard, timely with arrival and lunch breaks. The end product was better than we had ever expected. Creek area was cleared to perfection and tree removal was done with minimal damage to the rest of the yard. Crew was very careful and cleaned up their construction areas daily. They seem very professional and knowledgeable. I had a driveway put in almost two years ago and they knew not to drive their heavy equipment on the new driveway. They're certified arborists so they know a lot about trees.

They were very professional and cleaned up all the tree limbs. Now that it is winter and we have had heavy snow and high winds, we are glad we got it done!
