The work was completed on time and the door works fine now.

Terry appraised the situation, made a diagnosis that I had a gear on the motor stripping out. He was spot on as I saw the part he replaced and the nylon gear was completely totaled. He replaced the gear made some adjustments to door and now the door works as new. Took about an hour.

He came out at the time he promised and gave me a very reasonable price. He completed the repair then went above and beyond what I had expected by cleaning and adjusting the door, safety beams etc. I then bought 2 remotes and an outside keypad which he programmed and installed. I was very impressed by his knowledge, his easy manner, the caliber of work and the reasonable price. I would recommend him without reservation. Just wish he had a twin that was a plumber.

Terry came out to give us an estimate on a new garage door. He brought samples, explained the options, and wanted us to think about it overnight. He encouraged us to order the door we wanted rather than settling for something in stock. We did order a door and it was installed a week later.

Excellent service! Called on Saturday and told him we could not get out of our garage. He told us how to get the door open so we could get the cars out. We explained the problem and he gave us an estimate. When he came to the house he was very prompt. Ended up doing more work than what was quoted, but charged us LESS! Replaced the springs on both sides of the door and all the wheels, which he said were not heavy duty, as they should have been. The builder apparently scrimped on that! His work was excellent and he was very professional. Would not hesitate to call him again, or recommend him!

Really well. Ask for quote to fix old door that cable broke on and to also quote to replace both doors. Quote was accepted to replace doors. They came and replace doors in a timely manner and did excellent work and clean up after completing job. Work well with us to get doors installed.

I had Terry out a few weeks ago for an estimate for a double wide garage door and opener. I had other quotes also. I found Terry to be prompt, professional and courteous. He explained all of my options including repairing my current door. I decided that a new door and opener were my best bet. Terry provided brochures and pricing for different doors, insulated, non-insulated, color, panels or flat etc. He did the same for the opener. There was absolutely no pressure and he only wanted me to be pleased with my choice and for it to serve the purpose needed. There was a very slight difference in price but certainly not enough to sway me. I am pleased that I chose to hire Terry. He did a great job, cleaned up everything, explained how everything worked etc. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

We had this company do our work based on a recommendation we saw on the Angie's List website. They were responsive and I will use them again in the future.

Terry did a wonderful job. He was on time and very efficient. He didn't try to talk me into spending extra money. The cost was less than I expected. He was very helpful in doing what was necessary to fix the garage door and opener that I had and made them both work very effectively. I would recommend him to any of my friends and family. I would diffidently use his company again.

I called Terry's Garage Doors and Openers, and Terry came out the same day to give me an estimate. I was originally just going to install an opener and have Terry service the old garage door. He never pushed me into anything, but explained the advantages of a new door. I knew that within a couple of years I'd need to be putting in a new door since the old one wasn't insulated and I had put Styrofoam in it to keep the cold out of the garage. I decided to go with the new insulated door and an opener which after looking at his site I decided to go with the LiftMaster 8550 opener. Terry and another guy, (I have forgotten his name but very nice) installed it the next day. Everything was cleaned up and taken away. I have nothing but praise for Terry and his professionalism. One other thing. I got Terry from Angie's list, and never realized I've been using him to service my garage door for the past 10 years. I was never the one to call and so I wasn't aware he had done work for me. I am so glad it was Terry that I hired for the job!! Thank you so much Terry!!

We found Terry's on Angie's List and called to get an estimate to repair/replace our garage door and/or opener. We had called a few different places in order to obtain estimates. He came out within a few hours, found the problem right away but also checked other mechanics of the system to make sure there wasn't anything further, and gave us our options with the costs along with some pros and cons. I never felt pressured to replace the garage door opener, which is what we decided to do. They were quick to respond, prompt, polite, professional, and friendly. No complaints whatsoever, I highly recommend Terry's Garage Doors and will definitely call them again for any future needs.

I found out there was an opening that same day and he arrived within the anticipated time frame. Terry was friendly and looked over my 2 single overhead garage doors. Corrected the tension, made all the other routine maintenance and noticed several items that needed attention. He took care of those other items that were above and beyond what I consider general maintenance. When he wrote up the bill, I was very surprised that it was lower that what I was expecting with all the other work he did. I asked if he could find out the price of replacing some of the panels and he returned my call the next business day. I'll Call Terry whenever I need maintenance or when the doors need replacing.

my garage door would reverse on the way down for no apparent reason and sometimes it would stop on the way up as well. I called Terry's and set an appointment within a couple of days. Terry was on time. He had me explain the problem and observed it for himself. He went to work explaining his work while he was doing it. He performed a complete service of the door and adjusted the chain that was causing the problem. He was professional, courteous, and I would use his services again.

Arrived on time, looked over the problem, quoted price and completed work in a timely manner. I asked him to look over the other garage door, which he did. Found some problems and corrected. This service showed up last winter in a blizzard when a cable broke on one of the doors. I had called several places, and this one answered the phone at 7 a.m.

Our garage door spring broke and we couldn't open or close the garage door. My wife called around to get estimates to fix the door and find out when somebody could come out and fix it. After several calls to different garage door repair services my wife and Terry's wife (who answers the phones for the company) really connected. An appointment was made and Terry was out within hours. He fixed the spring and fixed some other items that had worn out. The door works great. Most of all I was happy that I did not have to replace the whole door. His prices are reasonable. He and his wife are very polite and really listen to you when you talk to them. They make a great team and I would highly reccomend them.

He was the only one that I called who asked me if I was stuck without a garage door and if he needed to come out immediately. That was the first thing he asked me, which was very good of him to do.

What a terrific experience! Can't say that it happens very often anymore! Terry promptly showed up at the time he gave us and went right to work. He did the job, cleaned up after himself and was very friendly and professional about the transaction. Gave us the discount without us even mentioning it! About a week later we had a problem that caused a grinding sound and we called Terry. He came right out, located a bolt that had come loose, tightened it and re-greased that portion of the rail and did it all at NO CHARGE! This is one young man (aren't they all?) who is dependable, doesn't over charge, keeps his promises and will absolutely work for us again....if we need him!

We had them repair our door a couple years ago. When our ancient opener quit, we called them again. Phone response was excellent. Appointment was set and adhered to. Both times they gave us options--a cheaper fix, or a more expensive replacement, and explained pros and cons. Installation appears clean and professional.
