Description of Work: Doug and Mark from Stoll Carpet Cleaning were punctual and professional. We had quite a challenge for them--a ten year old carpet that had NEVER been professionally cleaned which had numerous stains and a definitne wear pattern. Entry way hall and stairs were particularly bad. We really doubted that anything other than a slight lightening of said stains and wear patterns would be possible. And THAT would have made us happy because we were thinking we would have to buy a new carpet. Well--they got 99.9 % of the stains out and the wear pattern does not show now. We are very happy--with the results and the execution of the job as performed by Doug and Mark. It takes quite awhile to dry and it is a little more expensive but the results are so worth it. We would recommend this company and use them again ourselves.

Description of Work: They cleaned the living room, dining room, hallways and 3 bedrooms. They had not been cleaned in probably 3-5 years. All areas were then Scotchguarded. I had also requested that they clean a leather chair. When he started to clean it, he noticed something didn't seem right. After further checking he discovered that the chair was not actually leather but a very good soft vinyl. He stopped the cleaning and instructed me on how to do it myself saving me $90 which he didn't have to do. Stoll charges by the square foot so you can pick and choose how much of a room you want cleaned. Since it had been a while, I had them do pretty much wall to wall. We did not move the beds, heavy dressers or the large buffet and TV cabinet. I had moved much of the furniture myself, but a friend of mine had them clean his carpets and they moved all his furniture and then put them up on blocks so the carpet could dry. No additional charge. I guess I went to extra work that I didn't have to do. With previous companies I had used they charged more for moving furniture. He also had them only clean the walkways in rooms that were not heavily used saving him money. You can not tell that only the walkways were cleaned. It has been 4 weeks and the carpets are still beautiful and feel so soft. I rated them a "B" for price. It was kind of a sticker shock but then again it had been a while since I had had them done. My recollection of previous carpet cleaners was that within a couple of weeks the carpets felt sticky and I could see spots returning. Not so with Stoll. Even with this humidity they look and feel great. You get what you pay for. I will definitely use them again.
