Description of Work: They treated my father's house for carpenter ants. They will return in the spring to treat the house for termites.

Description of Work: We had problems with bees coming in our house. They said they could not find the source of the bees due to a previous person trying to get control of the problem. If we would have contacted them and used them only there would have been a better result. Due to this other company spraying a chemical into an opening by the front door outside, they could not find where the bees escaped too. But, the other company I had before this one blocked the outside entrance and got rid of any further infestation. Friends could have gotten control of the situation had the previous company not been contacted.

Description of Work: Sue reworked schedule to fit us in. Mike came out decided he would need to spray entire outside plus 10 feet out and basement area inside. Seemed ok.set up a time and then needed to change to another day.we could not not so I told him I would call when we could arrange. I've called twice since and received no call backs.

Description of Work: I used Friend's Termite & Pest Control to spray the entire perimeter of my yard for spiders, carpenter bees and wasps. I have a carpenter bee problem and they filled in all the holes.

Did not realize he was on Angie's list until it came up in conversation today as I would have submitted a report previously. Highly recommend Friend's!

Description of Work: I had a yearly contract. This included a complete inspection of the house and property. Licensed for any pesticides used. Will give you a complete description of any pest found. Came out quickly if I noticed anything between the quarterly visits. A delightful couple run this business. I no longer use them because I have moved out of state.

Description of Work: We had a bug problem that we thought was cockroaches, but turned out to be ground beetles. Friends diagnosed it over the phone and they gave us options for treatment (big shoes) :) and that there was not anything they could do to help us out. I will definitely call them for future issues.

Description of Work: I called re lots of dead bugs that were in the dining room and I had no idea where they were coming from. The first time I called I got an answering machine and did not leave a message because I was leaving the house. I received a call back because they saw my number on the caller ID. I explained my problem and they were nice enough to tell me it sounded like I had bugs in flour or some type of dry mix. He told me to check that first and if that was not it they would come out. Sure enough, there were tons of bugs in a box of bisquick. I cleaned everything up and threw everything away. I did see a couple more dead bodies the next two days and that was all.

Description of Work: We bought our older house about 3 years ago and every spring the black carpenter ants are horrible, especially in the kitchen area. This year, they were exceptionally bad. I called Friend's and was not disappointed. The woman who answered the phone was not in a hurry like some companies are, discussed the cost, how things would happen and answered all the questions that I had. We scheduled an appointment for 4/19/2012. Mike came out on time, came in the house and asked questions and then explained everything he was going to do. He went outside and brushed all the spiderwebs off the entire house! There were a ton as we live very close to Lake Erie. He then sprayed around all the trees, as we think one of the really old trees in our yard are where the ants are living. He then sprayed around the house and even around the shed and in the garage. He said to give it at least three weeks to work in the nest and if we saw any around that time to call and he'd come back and out and spray again for no charge. We saw a few the first two weeks, but they were slow to react and didn't move around much. In the last two weeks we have not seen any. We did sign up for quarterly pest control and we hope to not even have an ant visit us next spring.

Not only did he inspect the area in question, he looked at some past damage in the basement and gave a determination. He has followed up with me to be sure there are not problems. Excellent service!
