They were very responsive to my call. Called me within an hour and came by to evaluate within 3 hours. Contacted his team to get them out the next morning. They arrived before 8 and had the tree down and cut up in an hour! Very professional, courteous, hard working, and REASONABLY priced!!!

Their price is comparable. I am going to use them in the spring for another tree. Four people came out for the service. since the tree was in the backyard, it took them two days. It took two days because their chipper broke down that was cutting down the tree. The tree in the backyard was 80 ft tall. They had to climb the tree and section it from the top to the bottom. It being an 80 ft tree, it took every bit of the first day but they also couldn't continue because their machine broke down. they came right back the next morning and they finished the job. They cleaned up very nicely.

These guys were MAGICIANS.....Literally. They took 2 trees completely to the ground . One of the 2 trees was huge!!!! I live on Lewis Ave.....and they dropped that huge tree inside my yard NOT HITTING ANYTHING but the ground. Super impressive!!! The second tree was a Locust tree, with thorns. They came out in the 8 degree freezing temps and dropped that tree in even LESS space and electrical wires as well. Jason was precise with his every move and cut of each and every limb. Caleb was a Crazy impressive multi-tasking Rope Monkey, cutter hauling , lifting blowing and cracking jokes. Joey ( Shorty ), also a crazy Multitasker.......from throwing logs , hauling logs, dragging limbs, and dumping the truck loads. Bob gave us our incredible quote. He and the crew made us their priority , even after 10 inches of snow fall the night before. Bob ran the chipper, chucked logs, hauled limbs, shoveled snow , kept the area cleaned and kept throughout the entire job. My boys enjoyed the conversations with Bob while we were all collecting firewood. This team is ONE LIKE NO OTHER.....PERIOD. We are SO blessed to have had them do our tree job. So much fun, some laughs and some serious *** kicking hard work. Thank you Thank you, soooo very much Jason, Bob, Caleb, and Joey. Big Swing Tree is the VERY BEST CHOICE we ever made. They came earlier than expected and did great work on a hard job during very bad/ cold weather. Nice and professional. Hard working crew for a dirty job.

The job took two days because location of the tree was in the back yard and not accessible for large equipment. A crew member scaled the tree and cut down the large tree one section at a time, while the other three crew members took care of the branches and the chipping of the debris. The company is very professional and does their job well. Well worth the money and I will use them again. Very honest and willing to help.

Robert is straight-forward, does what he says he will, is hard-working, and knows his business very well. He and his team worked so hard and safely to get the job done. They took care of the surround landscaping and house and did a great job with clean up. His schedule gets booked so you have to plan ahead as other jobs and emergencies take priority. We would recommend his company and use them again if needed.

I just bought my home last October and never really noticed the tree damage until a walk around the yard on Monday afternoon. I called on Wednesday, he returned my call and came out to gave me an estimate on Thursday. By Friday morning the broken part of tree was cut down and they trimmed some other bad parts in tree without even asking. As they were cutting it down the whole branch was starting to wiggle because of how bad it was split/cracked off the main trunk, but they were very safe about the situation and had it down in no time. Very professional, prompt, courteous and clean. Made sure they cleaned up my yard, my neighbors yard (who wasn't home at the time) and street when finished. I will be calling them again when I need tree service again. Thanks a lot guys!!!!! Many thanks!!!!

I had a large 40 plus foot dead tree on my property that needed to come down. I contacted three different providers on Angie's list and one that was not. Of the four contacted only two responded to my property and provided a quote ( one off and on Angie's list). Big Swing was the first to respond and provided the best quote. Also during the estimate process I was provided how the job would be completed and approximate time it would take. After a few days I called the office again and made an appointment to have the job done on May the 18th as they were booked a week in advance. On the 12th I received a call that they had an opening and could perform the job that afternoon. The team arrived and had the tree down in an amazing time. The tree was close to power, cables wires, and a property fence. Also complicating the task were other large trees that were alive and well. There are not enough superlatives and space to properly describe the magnificent job they did. They downed the tree with no disruption of power and no damage to property. Cleaned up after themselves and were professional in every aspect. If you need a tree removed I strongly urge you to give Big Swing a call. Great service and people to work with!

Same day response to message left on Angie's list. Able to complete the work in just a few days. No damage to existing landscaping. Able to cut stump almost flush to ground and nice job cleaning up the debris. Very courteous.

Awesome service and excellent response. So thankful to have someone respond to an emergency call on Super Bowl Sunday and promptly come over to remove a tree that was at risk of falling. Service was excellent and I will definitely use again!

Did a good job! Cleaned up all the limbs--even those they didn't cut down. I was not at home at the time of service, but he came the day before to make sure he understood what I wanted done. He honored what I had paid on Angie's list even though the bill was higher--he wasn't out to get me but was a person of integrity and I will definitely use this service again.

Work was performed without heavy equipment, used climbers, therefore yard was not damaged. Clean up was immaculate!!!! Arrived on schedule. Best price of 4 quotes. Would definitely use again.

A friend had their trees cut down and had good things to say about the owner, Robert Sparks, of Big Swing Tree Services. I got several proposals to cut down our trees ( 4 very large and tall and the rest medium). I was flabbergasted by the prices I received. So I thought what did I have to loose by calling Robert. He arrived promptly on time for the meeting. I showed him what needed to be done. He explained how his crew would handle the job ( from cutting the trees, to hauling away the trunks and mulching the branches). His price was not quite half of what everyone else was charging. I was cautious and came right out and asked how he could charge less in comparison. He explained that he had been doing this for a long time, had experienced cutters and the equipment to do the job quickly. The price was well within my budget so i hired him. His crew arrived on time. It was fascinating watching them climb up the trees (some at least 40-60 feet tall) and tie rope around the branches so that after cutting they would be safely lowered to the ground. They stacked the limbs/trunks on a "bobcat" took them out and loaded them on trunks. His crew left my yard neater than it was when they arrived. This is my first time on Angie's list. I purposely joined to write this review because in this day and age it is difficult to find contractors to do a one time job. I was so satisfied with the work that Robert Spark's company did I felt it fair that I let others know about someone that gave me a fair price and did the work they promised in a timely manner.

They had the equipment and workers to complete the job in two days. They were very hard workers who knew their job.. They also did a great job cleaning up after the work was finished. I would strongly recommend this firm to anyone who needs tree work done. And their estimate for the work was a great deal less than several other estimates I received.
