I could say endless things my husband and I loved about these guys but I try to keep it to a regular sized review. Big swing will without a doubt be referred to all of our family/friends for any and all tree services. They came today to cut down two MASSIVE pine trees we had in VERY tight conditions near our fence, home, and power lines. We are so happy we hired them to do this job for us. They came on time and worked nonstop until the job was done. The whole entire team worked so well together and they all seemed so happy to be there. It was SO fun to watch them climb up the trees and cut piece by piece to ensure our home’s safety. When the job was done, they cleaned up as if the trees weren’t even there to begin with. We swear they about vacuumed the yard because we know those pine trees were a MESS to begin with from all of the needles shedding. Not to mention they cut up and organized a ton of wood next to our shed because we wanted it as firewood! If you’re considering getting very large trees (or any sized trees) removed, don’t hesitate to give Big Swing the job! You won’t regret it!!!

I hired them and the price was fair. They said they could come in about a month. 3 1/2 months later they never showed up and stopped answering contacts.

These guys hit the ground running this is the most efficient crew I have seen . Left the yard better than before they arrived. Looks like there was never a tree there except for bare spot where stump was.

They removed a pine tree in my backyard on May 20th . It was behind my garage so they had to climb it and rope it down . They were on time and on the day they said they would be there ,cleaned up all the brush and chips glad I called them and will use them again .

Job was done on time and quickly, and we are very satisfied. We have used their services twice before, and we were happy with their services then as well.

Very good! They offered a very good bid, one of 5, & were very prompt , polite, & hard workers. When they finished they did a remarkable cleanup job in the whole area. I am very glad I chose them to do the job.

Big Swing agreed to perform tree trimming for our property in Michigan. We engaged them, in early summer for work to be undertaken in the fall. At the time, we inquired whether they were licensed and bonded to perform the work on our property, and they replied they were. Several months later, on the day before the work was scheduled they called to inform us they were not licensed in Michigan, and therefore would not perform the work. We have now wasted several months time with this company and the work remains incomplete. This company lied to us and is not trustworthy. No one should consider hiring this company.

Very well. Crew was very professional. Cleanup was excellent.

On June 1st I submitted an online request for a quote, and I was specific about the tree I needed removed. I received an automated email stating "We received your inquiry and we will be getting back to you shortly. At Big Swing Tree Service LLC, we’re dedicated to providing outstanding tree care services, and we would love the opportunity to discuss how we may be of service to you." They never got back to me. Why offer an online form to get a quote if they don't even bother to call or email back?

A perfect job. This is the third time I have this firm at my house. They do things most other tree services don't do. They honor my request to bring no heavy equipment onto the lawn. They have never damaged the lawn or the landscape. They leave the property totally clean. They are the best I have found in forty years.

Very prompt estimate and they were quick to complete job. HOWEVER, when the crew first arrived, one crew member openly urinated on our 6’ privacy fence, in full view of myself! Appalled and wanting advice, I called police (non-emergency line) who advised me of Toledo’s public indecency ordinance; insisted they send a patrol car ... but when they arrived, I said I didn’t want to hassle with court, etc. So when I spoke with the tree co. owner/Jason (with police present) to let him know how disrespectful I thought this was as the homeowner who was giving him my business and paying cash on the spot, his immediate response was to defend his crew member. He said things like, “Hey, we work OUTSIDE, Lady,” instead of simply apologizing and talking with this crew member. He finally admitted the guy “should’ve used better judgement with his choice of location” to pee publicly (seriously?!). But, he implied this behavior is perfectly acceptable to him. I was disgusted by this lack of professionalism and just glad the mom next door (with her 3 young daughters) didn’t also see him. To me, this is unacceptable behavior. (If my husband would’ve been home, I think the guy’s teeth would’ve been knocked loose.)

Excellent work and cleanup. Even cut some limbs for firewood and stacked it without saying. Would Highly recommend them to anyone.

The crew came on the date and hour that the owner said that would. The service was planned for October but due to weather, our traveling etc it did not occur until end of December ;( But I have no regrets since the job was done professionally, both our and neighbors gardens were cleaned and no debris left. Everything was done in one day with no damage, and no mishaps. I was very happy. The price very reasonable.

Scheduling was difficult, but once they were here, the job went quickly and clean-up excellent. Wish I knew about Big Swing Tree Service years ago.

Robert was great to work with. He was quick to give me an estimate, and his price was very competitive. They did a great job pruning my trees and cleaning up.

Once, Robert finally got here things went great. We were out of town the week that he had scheduled us, so we had to reschedule. How fortunate we were that he was willing to change dates. His crew came early in the morning and worked continually, only taking a lunch break, and then finished the work in the afternoon. It was fascinating to watch the teamwork and professional work. When they were finished, they cleaned up everything.

Went really well. Tree was in awkward area of yard, precluding use of a cherry picker, they climbed trees and took it down efficiently, cleaned up all debris and ground down stump.

I had great experience. They did my yard very well. Price was pretty moderate. They got right back with me. Professionalism was very good. They were very professional and they did a great job with cleaning up after themselves.

This was a big job and they did amazing. They cleared everything out and everything looked fantastic when they were done. Very impressed!

It went really well. I could tell that they're very busy because it wasn't always easy to get quick responses from them, but once it was scheduled and set in motion - everything went swimmingly. They also cleaned up and did a few extra things I wasn't expecting them to do. Would definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

Great. The email responses were very prompt. The work was done promptly with care and professionalism. The crew worked well together. The clean up was better than I thought it would be. My neighbor immediately hired them to remove a huge tree. Again, his experience was eaqully as impressive as mine.

The 4 man crew arrive promptly at 8:00 in the morning as promised and began removing limbs within the hour. As the climber removed limbs the ground crew coordinated to chip the "smaller" (10 to 20 feet long) branches and cut the larger log sections into 16 inch pieces. As they worked, the crew constantly cleaned twigs and sawdust to keep the work area safe and neat. A particularly large branch that overhung the garage was expertly swung away in pieces with no damage to the garage roof or driveway below. At the end of day one, the tree had been cut flush to the ground, the pieces laid nearby, and all the sawdust removed and residue blown clear. The only evidence of the behemoth was the stump (expertly removed the next day) and the cut logs sitting on the grass. Day two proved to be a repeat of day one, with constant cleanup keeping the backyard neat and expediting the removal process. As on day one, the climber maintained safety as he expertly rigged the ropes to safely swing pieces to the ground for cutting or chipping. I was extremely pleased by the quality of Big Swing's work, the yard was left immaculate, and I feel much safer, particularly after seeing some of the large cracks and rot in the logs on the ground. I can highly recommend Big Swing Tree Service if you need tree work done. They are efficient, neat, and most importantly, safe. Thanks guys!

It went very well. The workers arrived as scheduled, performed all the necessary work, and cleaned up the area. Their cost was also very reasonable. We will definitely hire them again.

We had a tree that had fallen during a wind storm. It was leaning on a structure and on wires. They came out within a cpl hours of first talking with the owner. He gave the best estimate of approximately 6 or 7 we got. We were shocked by the estimate compared to some of the others we had received. They came out the very next day and were extremely efficient and organized. There were quite a few guys and they worked together great. The yard when they left looked great! Considered going it is March in Ohio, the yards need some major tidying up. We can't say enough great things for Big Swing! They were all around fantastic!

Huge tree fell during a windstorm recently and destroyed neighbors fence along with pulling down wires. Removed timely and quote was great.
