They did a good job on their electrical because they have a licensed electrician and they did a pretty good job so far. I am still waiting for Toledo Edison to come out. They are good and reliable; I would give them a five star. They sent my invoice on email.

It went very well. I especially liked the video monitor that he used to check the heat exchanger and burners. He could show a couple of potential problems to me, but also how good other parts of the furnace looked in "real time," not just guessing. The price was very good also, discount provided on Angie's List.

Terry did a great job checking the status of our furnace now that we are in the heating season. For the past 2 seasons Action Heating has provided not only safety inspections and service as part of the Big Deal program but also provided emergency service this past February when a critical furnace part failed and we lost our heating. This company has great customer service. I am extremely aware of customer service when I interact with companies since I am a customer service manager myself. The majority of businesses get this part wrong, but action heating does not. I purchased the furnace clean special back when it was still warm outside and set up an appointment. They came out but informed me that it was too warm to run the heat and we'd have to wait until it cooled down to check it (and didn't charge me for coming out). The gentleman came out today on time, checked everything, cleaned what needed cleaned, and told me everything looked good. This company has the customer service down. They were on time both times they came with a phone call before showing up. The specialist was quick, efficient, and to the point (exactly what people need in todays fast paced world). I will use this company in the future and would recommend them to anyone I know in the area. I paid through Angies list for the service and that was all I paid. There were no attempts to try and sell me things I didn't need. He did his job, was friendly, and was straight to the point. Then he said I was all set and was on his way. Good company. Keep up the good work. Companies like this are hard to come by.

I ordered a 22 point inspection and cleaning for $49.00. What I got was a quote for a new furnace. He never cleaned it or even attempted to clean it!! All he did was say it was old (which is why I wanted it cleaned) and dangerous and that he was just going to give me a quote for a new one...didnt even bother to attempt cleaning it.. (We are now having a different company come and tell us what to do.) I feel he should have at least attempted to clean it...it is running fine and he could have said what the heck was so terribly wrong with it other than it was old!! He kind of insulted me also by saying, he didn't know where we could get the money to buy a new one, just make sure we borrow it from family or something as long as we get a new one. THAT was kind of embarassing!! Well, enough said, at least you know why I am upset. I will let you know what the new company says, if its really as dangerous as he claimed. Not happy....

After re-scheduling the appointment, the contractor did an excellent job, and we would have no problem in recommending them and using them again.

The check and cleaning of furnace went very well. I asked for an estimate for a new humidifier and made a date to install the new one. They were to arrive at 8 AM and no one showed up. I called about 10 AM and learned that the crew had not been notified of the appointment. They were notified and did arrive that same day afternoon. They did an excellent job and I am very pleased with the service. The owner called to apologize again for the mixup and sent me a check for a $50. I have no complaints.

They were on time. He was considerate of my house (cleanliness). Went all over the furnace and checked everything. Put bleach in to clean humidifier pump. I knew the humidifier was bad, which he confirmed. They are going to put in a new humidifier sometime in the next week or so. The gentleman was very nice, very personable. Answered all questions and explained things thoroughly. Did not try to sell me any more products or services. I had a general complaint about my thermostat and he explained how it worked and said that if I got a new one it would probably do the same thing?that the problem was in the configuration of rooms in the house or insulation of walls, etc. Nice of him not to sell me a new thermostat that I didn't need. I was very pleased with the company and service and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Nothing, I need to reschedule with them. I went through a period when I was not available, but they have never gotten back with me to even pursue the completion of this order. I had hoped by now they would have refunded my money and allowed me the respect of recontacting them if and when I need them. I just want a refund at this point.

I went on your sight looking for someone to clean my furnace and air conditioner.i chose action heating and air conditioning. I paid online and gave three dates to do the work,but I still went ahead and called the company to speak with a rep about scheduling a date. Everyone was very helpful and took my number to have someone call me back to speak with me. In the next half hour I received a call from a previous heating company I had been waiting to come to my area and they called and said they could be here in the next half hour. I told them yes and knew that I would have to call Angie's list and cancel my order. When I called everyone was helpful and immediately emailed me to fill out this form to cancel.everyone was great. I then called the action heating company to call them to tell them I did not need anyone to call to schedule a date, they took the message, and was very kind. Within minutes I received a call back from a gentleman from action heating, asking if there was anything that he could do. I went on to tell him about the other heating company and he was truly understanding and said everything was okay,we started talking and he asked me who was coming out and I told him and he said he knew the company and they were good and he was friends with the owner and he joked with me and said tell him you are going to do a write up on Angie's list. He was so nice and I would definitely recommend him and use him my myself. He was very understanding.

Everything with the service was good. We never set up an appointment so I am not sure when they came out. There was no notice left that they were here but I could tell because all of the leaves around the unit were cleaned out. I would have felt better had they left a note saying that they were here, but I have used them several times in the past and they have done a good job.

Installers did a very good job as far as on time,efficient,neat but Mike wasn't satisfied with the way the drainage system was handled(looked good to me) so he revamped it himself

The service was good. They provided me with good information and did what I needed to have done.

Terry Williams initially came out 5/31/14 to recharge our older AC unit as part of an AC Tune-Up special I purchased. After the recharge, the unit was cooling well when turned on. Later discovered an additional problem. As weather became warmer and more humid and AC was was on frequently, the compressor fan was not shutting off properly when the cooler temperature was achieved inside. Terry promptly returned 7/1/14 and replaced the faulty cut-off switch on the compressor. AC unit now working properly. Terry was courteous and timely each time he came out. Pricing was higher than expected (two service calls, recharge coolant, replace switch), but it has been several years since any similar work has been performed for us to compare it to.

The technician arrived within the scheduled window. He called ahead to say he was on his way. He was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeble. He explained the results of his testing, and offered helpful hints to make my system function even more efficiently. Action is a first-class operation. I have them test and prep my HVAC system in the spring and fall. I have not had to call on them for any repairs, but based on their professional attention thus far, they would be the first folks I'd call if there were a problem.

There was a little confusion/inefficiency in scheduling the appointment. However once he was here, things went very smoothly. He was professional and efficient and gave me some good input/advice regarding ongoing maintenance of my air conditioner.

LyThese guys came out within hours of our heat going out in the middle of the worst winter on record. They gave my wife an estimate and discussed it with me on the phone. When doing the repair they realized the heat exchanger was cracked. To repair it would not be possible. It would need replaced. They felt genuinely horrible to give me the news bug provided an efficient Train option. They had it installed within hours, and my family had heat before the day was out. My wife trusts them, and is impressed with them. If wife is happy...happy home.

I had used a Angie's List coupon for a $40 heating system check. The tech arrived on time and was friendly. He looked at our boiler and realized that it was at least 40 years old. He pointed out where it was rusting apart, that some of the burners were no linger working and cleaned out some piled up rust inside the boiler. Other than that there wasn't anything he could do for it except recommend getting a new one as soon as possible. There was no hard sell. There was a misunderstanding about the coupon and they had marked me as already paying in advance (via a different deal they had online.) Since they weren't really able to do anything for me I was just told that the wouldn't charge me and to just write a good review about them on Angie's List. So here I am. They were professional yet laid back. I recently called them again about replacing the boiler and getting a ductless A/C system. Since they don't handle ductless A/C and I would get a better deal doing both at once they referred me to another company who could help. I've never actually done business with Action, but I still give them high marks for being incredibly honest and helpful.

I was disappointed with performance. My wife met the technician, and relayed his comments to me. He told us we need to replace the air conditioning system - king valve is leaking, and the system is losing Freon5. I can believe that . . . but he didn't leave a phone number to call, didn't provide any detail about how to pursue an estimate, nothing. Just, You need to replace it.

All went well - took advantage of an Angie's Deal but have also used Action before, good company to do business with.

He took 15 mins and said we had a leak and needed a charge. Charged for the charge and said it wasn't worth fixing the leak because of the age of the air conditioner. I felt the price was high and charges me for the service and the service few for coming out. Not very friendly and wanted to leave as fast as possible.

The techician arrived as scheduled. He told me everything he was going to do. He checked the freon, the production of the cold air coming into my home. He cleaned the unit and informed me of a potential problem in the future. Let me know that the unit was running well. He was professional and polite.

Mike is a great guy. Very knowledgeable. Explains and communicates very well.
