Description of Work: Replaced a faulty inducer. |My issue was when the owner (Terry?), who came out to service my furnace, became insulting when I didn't want to replace my entire furnace. He was condescending, and told me he doubted they could even GET one since my furnace was such an old model and was an odd one even when they did make it. Interesting part was they found and ordered one that very day. | |Then when the same guy came back he couldn't figure out how to replace it as he'd never "done one of these" and I had to wait for someone else to come from Toledo to take over. The reason given was he had sheet metal and tools and (Terry?) didn't, and the job would require replacing the vent duct. The second guy took my advice on how to install it and no sheet metal had to be replaced. All in all not a professional approach, but a competent installation. Sad, part is I only used them based on an Angie's List special deal. Which I think is why I got attitude early on.I was getting the service call at 40% off. | |I might consider using them again if they were the least expensive of a group of estimates.

Description of Work: Action replaced a furnace in my elderly fathers home. The old one quit and was unrepairable, 30+ years old. They were at my Dad's home within 30 minutes of my call, and had a new furnace up and running before the end of the day so that my Dad had heat that night. They came back the next day as promised and finished up all the permanent connections. Very professional, responsive and customer friendly. They removed the old furnace from the basement and left the premises in neat condition.

He was very professional and thorough, didn't try to sell us something we did not need and I would certainly recommend this company to anyone and we will definitely use them again. A++++

Description of Work: I had bought a furnace cleaning\tune up on Angies list. Did not use until Mid -summer. I asked the tech to check my AC unit also. He suggested that i use my Angies List purchase to sevice AC only and wait on the furnace until fall since it wouldnt be used until fall time and I could save money by purchasing another Angies List service voucher as opposed to being charged full price therefore saving me money in the long run, I appreciate their advice and will do this. Great company!

Description of Work: Called in the morning because I had no heat and it was very cold. They came out within a couple of hours. Quickly identified the problem....my thermostat was not working properly. Gave me a couple of options for the fix. Had everything needed to complete the work on hand. I had the thermostat replaced with a new one and I couldn't be happier with the result....especially with the cold winter we had. In addition, he also noted that my furnace motor was loud and that it was still under warranty. He was able to order the part and returned on a different day to complete that work. What a big difference that made! I really appreciated that he mentioned it. I would not hesitate to use Action Heating again.

Description of Work: They installed a new a/c, furnace and water heater. We were totally impressed with the company - no pressure to purchase one unit over another, just the info laid out so we could make an informed decision. |The workmen were very polite. They kept us updated on daily progress and answered all of our questions. These guys worked hard! They had to move the stacking washer/dryer in a very small bathroom to replace the water heater - what a pain, but it was done with the same care and attention as the a/c and furnace. We highly recommend this company - even the dog liked them.
