He did what he said he would. Furnace was inspected and declared in good working shape. Cleaned parts that had accumulated dust (from dryer in same room). Made sure all connections were connected and in good working order.

Came out and inspected to make sure everything was working well. Cleaned a few things but that was all that was needed.

every thing went ok except the young kid tservice the furnace and change the filter and then the olderly gentel man came in and reservice again that was very good of him at no charge so overall it came out to be good.

Went okay. The 'B' for professionalism reflects my experience dealing with support staff. The 'B' for overall experience reflects the fact that no one got a permit for the work until I questioned it near the end of the job. When Mike became aware of it, he took care of it immediately, even though he was on vacation. He kept us posted every step of the way, which was very much appreciated; if I could rate him higher than an A in responsiveness, I would!

I very pleased with the work by the electricians. They solved the problem very quickly and at a very reasonable cost. As someone who manages rental properties, I always try to find service providers who perform quality work at a fair price. I will use this company as my "go to" electricians should I need any electrical services in the future.

I used Action Heating and Air Conditioning because they had previously serviced my furnace via an Angie's List Special "Tune-Up" and the service was great that time. However, I will not be using their services again. I called Monday morning and was promptly told that via the receptionist that someone would call me back to schedule a time. The service man called back in an hour and asked what was wrong. I replied "there is condensation leaking from the coil or central air unit onto the basement floor, I think a drainage line might be blocked." The service man replied well it could be that or you may be low on refrigerant, would it be alright to come by tomorrow, Tuesday, between 9am to 11am to check. I said that would work fine, I will be at work but my girlfriend will be home to let someone in. Fast forward to Tuesday at 10:45 and I asked my girlfriend if they had been to the house yet, and she said "no". At approximately 11:05am I received a call from Mike and said that he would be there in about 10 to 15 minutes. At approximately 11:40 I was told that they were done and the unit had low refrigerant and they recharged it. The invoice had a note that there "maybe a refrigerant leak" and the totals were as follows: $343.14 included a $70 service charge, $249.95 for refrigerant, and $23.14 tax. My issues: 1) Customer Service. I know schedules don't always work as planned and I completely understand not fitting a service call in a two hour window, but a call 15 to 20 before the final TWO HOUR window for an update on "Hey we're running late, I don't think we'll be there for another 30 to 45 minutes", would've gone a long way. Not calling till after the again, I hate to stress this but TWO HOUR window, to say you're still going to be another 10 to 15 minutes is just bad customer service. 2) Follow-Up? The invoice noted that there maybe a leak in the refrigerant line. When I asked my girlfriend what they said about that and if they may have some suggestions on what we need to look for in the future to not have to go through this again and fix the problem. She said they didn't say anything about it, just that it was noted on the invoice. So I guess that I can kiss another $343.14 goodbye again in the near future and not have the problem solved. I guess I would've been open to suggestions on how to alleviate the problem permanently. Such as, "well keep an eye on so and so, if you see this happening give us a call and we'll run a check on the line, and to replace it, the estimate is XXX.XX". Could've been a "up-sell" on their part. I have no problem spending money to fix the problem, not just putting a bandage on it. Also it would've been nice to have them check the discharge lines to make sure they weren't clogged and were draining correctly considering the water was leaking out of the unit and not correctly through the discharge lines. A quick note saying, "Check the drainage lines everything was flowing correctly" would've been nice. 3) Value: In conclusion, I don't think the value was there for the service. For someone to slam through a service call no matter how good you are at your job in 15 minutes and charge $343.14 is far from a fair value. To be fair, I'll admit I was not present at the time of the service call. And I did not receive a follow-up call with what was done. I'm assuming that their protocol is to talk to the person who is present. And from what I gather from the conversation it wasn't much.

They were very profession able and reasonable. I plan on using them in the future

The service was good. I am well pleased with them and it turned out very nice. I paid a little bit more than the $49 Big Deal for filter. The main thing is I recommend them. They did a good job and I would use them again. I had no problems at all.

I PLACED A CALL FOR SERVICE--GOT A CALL BACK THE SAME DAY. mIKE SAID THEY WOULD COME TOMORROW AND HE WOUD CALL US WITH THE TIME HE WOULD BE TO OUR HOME, HE WAS HERE AT THE EXACT TIME....A VERY PROFESSIONAL MAN..

Service tech called to advise when he would arrive. They arrived a little late but got right to work. While waiting for the old tank to drain, I had them replace a leaking valve elsewhere in the house. They proceeded to remove the old tank and install a new tank. They were done and cleaned up and were gone in a timely fashion.

Since January 2014, we have had Action install a new furnace, air conditioner, humidifier, and water heater. Each time we've found them to be timely, competent, efficient, and fairly- priced. Today Mike came to perform a yearly maintenance check on the air conditioner. Accompanying him was an intern who was shadowing in order to gain "on the job" experience. So I had to take a moment to sit down and commend Action once again for not only providing quality work and amazing customer service, but community support as well. I hope the young man who was with Mike today realizes the invaluable mentoring he is receiving. My advice to anyone in need of heating, cooling, air quality improvement, electrical, or related services call Action without hesitation! They truly are "the good guys." My only wish is that they would add plumbing to their list of services. In our house, it would be "Call Action" for everything! Sending a huge thanks to Mike and all the staff......

We like them an awful lot. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in heating and air conditioning or electrical work. We have used them quite a bit since this deal. I have nothing negative to say about them.

I do 'APOLOGIZE' to Action Heating & Air Conditioning & Electrical for my first review of their company. This is an updated review. My first review was relative to a plumbing company who did work in my home. My Overall Rating 'F' was for their services. But, Action Heating & Air Conditioning & Electrical does not perform plumbing work. With this updated review, I'm setting the record straight. Action Heating & Air Conditioning & Electrical deserves an Overall Rating 'A' for the work they performed on the A/C equipment serving my home. I thank the service tech for going that extra step to satisfy his customer, even though he was in obvious pain with a sore back. Still, he did a great job!

Great. fast and professional. There were some flower in bed which surrounded the unit and they even managed to work around them without damaging them. I did't ask them they just did it. Tanks! Will be scheduling the same people this fall for the furnace.

Everything went well. Air conditioner found to be in good shape = no attempt to have us purchase something we didn't need. They arrived on time and were very professional.

The two installers, Scott and Tyson, did an excellent job. They were polite and professional. Before beginning, they explained what they were going to do. After they finished, they explained what they had done, how to work the programmable thermostat, made recommendations and answered questions. Scott, who has worked for the company for over 20 years, was especially knowledgeable. Later that day, Mike called to follow up and make sure that we were satisfied with the job and to answer any questions we might have. Very professional, well run company. Would highly recommend them and will use them for annual maintenance.

Service on. 14 yr old conditioner was performed as promised. Recommended the air conditioner be replaced due to condition of the unit and provided a cost estimate on a new unit. After obtaining additional bids, I chose to go with a different dealer based on cost and quality of recommended replacement.

Could not have been more pleased with the service provided. Would definitely refer them to someone looking for this service. The owner and the installers were a pleasure to work with.

I had signed up for an Angie's List Big Deal for an air conditioning check up and annual maintenance to be performed by Action Heating and Air Conditioning for $49. They called and scheduled an appointment, but on that day it was cool and they called to postpone the service. We rescheduled the appointment for about a week later. When the day and time came, no one called or showed up. I contacted Angie's List to get my money back, and they refused because more than 30 days had passed since I had placed the order. So I wrote and posted a negative review, based upon my experience, and thinking I was not going to get my money back. After having read review, I was contacted by Michael from Action. He acknowledged that they had created the problem due to a scheduling error on their part, and wanted to make things right. And they did; today they performed the service for free, and refunded my $49 as well. I am quite pleased at the way they handled this, and would highly recommend them. I plan to use them again for some minor electrical repairs in the near future.
