Description of Work: They removed the old driveway of concrete and 2 layers of ashalt, removed all the debris and replaced it with a beautiful concrete one. Description of Work: They replaced a very large driveway, extra wide apron and some sidewalk area. They removed several bushes on the corner of the garage. That area was replaced with a concrete pad on the side of the garage/house that connected to the right side of the new driveway. I asked them to widen the walk area near my front door and they were very accomodating. They created a very nice concrete curved design that connects to the left side of the driveway. The look is very appealing and really opens up the walk area from the driveway to the front door. They did not skimp on materials as an additional 16 tons of stone were needed for the base(original base only had sand). The concrete finish looks great with all of it being cured and sealed. Mark and his crew were very professional, courteous and promptly arrived every morning around 7:00 am. They cleaned up the area every day an back filled all the edges with top soil. I would highly recommend Pro-Tech Custom Concrete.

+ 0 moreI am so pleased with this company. I feel that replacing a concrete driveway is one of the major repairs that a homeowner will do and I wanted it done right and I wanted it done well. Mark Caskey, the owner assured me that he does every job as if it was his own home and he certainly followed through on that promise. Not only is Mark the owner, but he works the job along side of his employees. You can set your clock to this company. They started on time each day and worked all day. If they took a break, it was never obvious to me, as someone on the crew seemed to be working every minute. My property has a tree in the front yard which caused a few problems, not to mention this city's roadwork problems that they had to deal with; but Mark and his crew addressed and corrected each problem. They used topsoil to fill in along the driveway and sidewalk, cleaned up nicely and supplied the cones to mark the new driveway. Mark and his crew are exceptional. They are professional, courteous, hard working men. This company's attention to detail and the quality of work is superb. I would highly recommend this company and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

+ -1 moreThey adjusted for some added details from the original quote without any hassle. We love the job they did, including the cleanup and removal of their 'tracks'. We picked them for the job after seeing another drive they did and looking them up here on Angie's list. We asked another company for a quote but they did not respond so we do not know if Pro-Tech was the best price we could have gotten from a similar provider but we do know we are very happy with their response and work for us.
Description of Work: They removed a blacktop driveway and curbing and replaced with a reenforced concrete one. They added a 'side' drive off beside the garage and provided a gravel back-filled 'pad' for a shed.

+ 0 moreProTech concrete (Mark Caskey and his employees) were first class all round from initial visit for quote to completion of job. They arrived on time and by end of day had old driveway out and had excavated for 10ft extension we wanted. Day two they poured the concrete and then spent considerable time detailing and finishing. The attention to detail and obvious pride they take in their job was apparent to watch and in the finished product. Having received several quotes (which were all in and around the same figure) we can only say that we are so glad that we went with ProTech. We would have no hesitation in highly recommending this company.

I have a beautiful driveway that is wider than we originally planned because they said it would look better and didn't charge for the extra concrete. They cleaned up after themselves really well. I'm very happy with the outcome of this project and will use them again when we do the back patio.

He took the measurements and provided an estimate, which I considered fair based on the condition of my driveway. I chose Pro-Tech after getting another estimate. It was Mark's professionalism and personality that sealed the deal. When it came time to do the work, Mark and his team arrived on the scheduled date and performed the prep work. He had to reschedule the pouring for a day because of the weather. He and his team arrived the on time the day of the pouring and finished mid afternoon. I was very satisfied with the results. They arrived early each work day and worked hard all day, often in extreme heat. They were always upbeat and a pleasure to interact with. Mark was always on-site working right alongside his team, and was very responsive to any questions we had. Mark truly believes in customer service and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Our patios, walkways, and porch look fantastic, and our yard has never looked more beautiful! We had a great experience with Pro-Tech and we recommend them highly!
Description of Work: Pro-Tech replaced our dated front porch and walkway with a new colored and stamped design. They also replaced our old flagstone walkway in the rear of our home with a new concrete walkway. They installed two concrete patios, and one floor-grade concrete pad (for a future remodel). They also completed a major irrigation project, and brought in tons of soil and regraded our property.

Work completed as scheduled 5 .Price was fair Suggestions: Offer to the customer to set-aside the old sod removed from around the parameter of the work area. Dispose of any nails removed from the"forms" used in a better way. Found a couple in the grassy area, which could have caused a problem. Clean up of dirt in the street could have been better. Out of courtesy, I had to clean my neighbors side across the street so that they wouldn't complain of "my project".

From the very first contact to the end product, Mark Caskey was not only professional, but went above and beyond to make sure I had a patio that I could be proud of. He removed the old patio that was done incorrectly, with cracks, bad coloring as well as being poured too thick with cardboard, wood and McDonald's cups tossed into the concrete. He not only removed the old patio, but in the process made sure my yard was protected from possible ruts that could be made by his equipment by using plywood as a makeshift "driveway". Not only did he pour a new patio with two steps, he took the extra step to make my "standard" gray patio look so nice by placing the expansion cuts in a manner that made the patio look "decorative". Once the patio was done, Mark took the time to fill in the ruts in my yard left by the previous contractor who allowed a 80K lb. concrete truck drive through my yard. My experience with Pro-Tech was more than I expected and I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. Pro-Tech Custom Concrete is a great company who restored my faith that there are contractors out there who truly put their customer's first.

Description of Work: Put in new sidewalk around back of house. Replaced front and side sidewalks. Replaced driveway. This company assisted me in putting in underground drains for the roof gutters including a thirty foot pipe under the front side walk that tied into the drain from garage downspout that I ran on out into the front yard. These guys were great and even helped me glue the pvc pipes together. They are well organized in getting tasks done so there is no wasted time. In addition they worked with me as to my concerns with water drainage between me and my neighbors house resulting in a six inch wide and eight inch deep edge on that drainage side to make sure water would not get under the driveway and undermind the edge. The driveway is normally 4" thick. They even reinforced the edge with rebar. Great job. The concrete I used does not require rebar as it is fiber reinforced but they were concerned about long term wetness at the edge. Great thinking. They were also considerate about protecting my grass resulting in them taking sledge hammers and manually taking out my front walk instead of using machinery. Very labor intensive. I assumed they would use the Bobcat and I would do final repairs to the yard. As a result all I had to do was plant grass seed after they filled in with very good topsoil where the forms had been. This company is great.

I stopped to ask about a quote on our driveway job and Mark immediately came and looked at our job and gave me a quote. He was able to schedule the job for the following Monday. They showed up early and got to work removing the existing broken concrete. The job was done professionally and expertly above my expectations. Really fine finish work on the concrete. They were both very friendly. The jobsite was clean and they respected the neighbors property when needed. Nice guys!

+ -1 moreHE WAS VERY NICE AND HIS CREW WAS VERY GOOD. IT TOOK TWO DAYS, ONE FOR THE DRIVEWAY AND THEN THE SECOND DAY FOR THE APRON AND GUTTER (CURB). THEY ARRIVED EARLY AND WORKED MOST OF THE DAY IN REALLY HOT WEATHER. IT WAS 85 DEGREES AND HIGHER BOTH DAYS BUT THEY STILL STAYED MOST OF THE DAY. HE GOT ALL OF THE PERMITS THAT WERE NEEDED, AND ALL THE REQUIREMENT THAT THE CITY NEEDED WERE MET. THE FACT THAT HE LIVED IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND THE PRICE WAS GOOD WAS WHY I WENT WITH PRO-TECH. IF YOU WANT A GOOD JOB DONE FOR A GOOD PRICE THEN YOU NEED TO CALL MARK AT PRO-TECH CUSTOM CONCRETE.

But once the job was started, it was completed in a few days, including sealing and clean-up. The quality of the work was excellent, and Mark was very courteous. His price was substantially lower than any competitor, and he was able to provide exactly what I wanted.
