Angie's List ratings is why I chose this company and they did not disappoint. Mark Caskey and his team are true professionals. He responded quickly for the request for quote and showed up exactly when he said he would. This is shockingly hard to find these days. Once they job started they showed up on time and worked hard each day. His son is truly amazing to watch on a bobcat! They pulled my old deck posts and cleared away the grass and dirt. We had a large stamped concrete patio installed and they executed my engineering drawings expertly. After they finished they brought in dirt, planted grass seed, and added straw to any areas of the yard that was damaged. Each member of the crew was very curious and professional. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for this type of work.

I cannot say enough about Mark Caskey and his crew. They were like a well-oiled machine with each piece (person) knowing just what to do with precision and speed. The whole crew was friendly and respectful. And Mark worked right alongside of them. We had a front sidewalk that had sunk so low that its level was way below the connecting porch. Mark was able to raise this to an easy step down with an almost imperceptible slant. From start to finish, the project went rapidly without a hitch. I would definitely use them again.

From beginning to end Pro-Tech is an absolute delight to work with. Doing a shared driveway with neighbor could either go well or be a disaster. In this case it went incredibly well. Owner Mark is friendly, honest, professional, and very helpful and flexible, particularly with some last minute changes on my part which they handled without a hitch. To watch his crew work is a real lesson in teamwork, confidence in each other, skilled workmanship, and great pride in their work. No shortcuts, they worked together to get the job done right. A business is only as good as its people, and from the top down they are top notch pros with concrete. I would hire them again with absolutely no hesitation.

Mark & crew did an excellent job when removing my old asphalt & concrete driveway plus sidewalk. They were able to leave an existing carport in place & work around it and widen the driveway, despite some big trees in awkward positions. The cleanup was great after the removal and after pouring. Mark was onsite every day working alongside the crew. Everyone was professional, polite and knew exactly what had to be done. There were a couple of on-the-fly decisions that had to be made and I was given reasonable options to choose from & the pros & cons of each. I expected there'd be a surprise or two and was very pleased with both the advice I received and the outcome. The project was reasonably priced, the new driveway & sidewalk are beautiful and make a huge difference in the appearance of my house. Pro-Tech are now my "concrete guys" and I'll be using them again for other projects.

Outstanding job! The owner, Mark Caskey, responded promptly to my request for quote, unlike his competitors. He quoted me a fair price for the work. No up-front payment was required at all! He stands by his company's work and ensures the customer is pleased with the result before payment is due. The work was scheduled quicker than expected, and Mark arrived with his workers a few minutes before the scheduled time. His company was well prepared to do the work with all the right equipment. Everyone knew exactly what they needed to do and it was a pleasure watching the team work. IT REALLY WAS TEAMWORK! This was a 2 day job with the first day being for tear-out of the existing driveway and patio, and preparing, levelling, and compacting the base for the concrete pour on the next day. They worked efficiently and got the work done before 5pm without leaving anything undone for the next day. The next day, they again arrived before the scheduled time and had to wait on the arrival of the concrete truck. Once it arrived they started with the patio concrete pour. They used plastic sheeting to protect the house from any concrete splatter as they poured the concrete into the forms. Next, they started on the driveway... again TEAMWORK! With the concrete in place and partially finished, they waited for just the right set of the concrete to finish the surface with amazing precision. The result looks GREAT! To top it off, they brought in topsoil to fill in areas of the lawn that were unavoidably damaged by their heavy equipment, and placed grass seed and hay on the repaired areas. The result will probably look better than it did to start. They were finished and everything cleaned up before 4pm. I highly recommend this company for any concrete work needed!

It went great! This was a big, complicated job. Mark had a lot of great ideas, especially about our new porch, which we love! He also recommended a curb on the hill to prevent cars from going down on the other side. Very professional, punctual, and a superb work crew. I will use them again!

It went better than I could have hoped. Mark, the owner, was onsite every day directing and working with his small but extremely efficient crew. I did an exhaustive analysis of 12 local providers and I selected Pro-Tech based on universal sterling reviews, an interview with Mark, and price. Not surprisingly, Pro-Tech's schedule was busy and I was initially told that I'd have to wait about 6 weeks. A week later, Mark called me at 0900 and said they finished a local job earlier than expected and asked if I'd mind they do ours next. I jumped at the chance. The crew and their equipment (which they own) showed up less than 2 hours later. After 5 hours, the old driveway was completely removed and hauled away, the base was laid and compressed, and all forms set. It was amazing to watch. The next day they showed up promptly at 0700. For the next 6 hours, they completed laying and coating concrete for 2/3 of the driveway and a small walkway. Their work was outstanding as well. The concrete was surfaced beautifully, complete with stress cracks neatly and expertly done. The only reason they didn't complete the job on that second day was because the weather forecast called for a good chance of rain. Not wanting to take the chance, Mark and his guys covered the remaining 1/3 of graveled and unpaved driveway. The next day they completed the job, including filling dirt in the edges of the driveway that were dug up to make room for the forms. Mark's team also replaced the underground electrical cable to our lamppost with cable I provided, and did a great job at cleanup. It's been 3 days now and the driveway is drying to same light color and we love it. I should also mention that all members of the team were skillful, diligent, thorough, and courteous. If the job holds up -and I I have no reason to believe it won't - I'll update my review to review durability and (if warranted) followup support and/or repair. As of right now, it's hard to believe you can do better than using Mark's Pro-Tech Custom Concrete firm to do your driveway

It was AWESOME. Mark and his crew were extremely nice, on time, and answered all the qeustions we had. Not only did they answer our questions, they answered the 500 questions my son asked. They were more than professional and the work they did was amazing. They cleaned up and re-seeded the yard which is already growing back close to normal. I would highly recommend Mark and Pro-tech Custom Concrete to anyone that has upcoming concrete work. I will certainly hire them again for any more work we should require.

Mark was informative, professional and friendly. He went out of his way to answer questions and bring his crew here in a timely manner. The members of his crew were equally as knowledgable and accommodating. They finished my double drive efficently and I believe it is the best looking drive in the whole neighborhood. Woohoo! I've used them twice. The price is very reasonable. I did all the prep, they just poured. I didn't have to have the job done right away. I knew I had to work around their schedule and they gave me a reasonable price to do that. He is very, very busy but he is a good contractor, so I was willing to wait. They were right there, first thing in the morning when it was ready.

This team is great. They did a beautiful job and totally cleaned up everything. Would definitely recommend them to everyone.

They did a great job and I would recommend these guys to anyone needing concrete work done. They responded almost immediately to our request for a quote. Because of their schedule it was about two months before they were able to work us in. They removed the old asphalt, prep'd and set the forms on the Friday before Thanksgiving. Monday, they showed up before sunrise and began pouring and finishing. It took all day to work and finish the concrete. We couldn't be happier with the results. All the workers were very professional. You might be able to find someone cheaper, but no one better!

They were here bright and early and arrived on time. Everything they promised they came through with and we were very satisfied with their work. They did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards and this is actually the second job we've used them on and both times they gave exceptional service. I would highly recommend their services to others. Very knowledgeable and professional.

Mark was very good to work with. We had gotten two bids, including Pro-Tech. Pro-Tech's quote was slightly lower than the other quote, but it was Mark's attention to certain details (grading of the lawn alongside the driveway and angling the driveway for water flow away from the house) along with all the positive reviews on Angie's List, that influenced our decision to select Pro-Tech. Mark's crew was also great. They were friendly and efficient - always willing to answer questions during the work. The only negative we have is that we asked for the grass to be moved from an area where the driveway was being widened to be placed in the area where the driveway would be narrowed. The grass in our yard was in great condition and we wanted to maintain that. This was explicitly in the work order and was brought up when they started the work. However, they didn't do it (Mark admitted he should have brought his sod cutter), so they spread dirt and grass seed on the area instead. The new grass seed didn't take well and we had to redo it. They do great concrete, but don't do grass very well. My advice for other customers: remind them about all the details of your order the day before work starts.

Mark and his team showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. The job was more involved than just pouring concrete because the patio came up against our house and was slanted making it two levels. He ensured everything was to my liking before even sending me the bill! The quality appears excellent.

Through your advertising we contacted this company for "concreting" our 1400 sqft old asphalted drive way. We chose the company after we sampled the input of at least half a dozen companies which offered this service at up to twice the cost (unbelievable) of what we actually paid. We chose the company because of the efficient handling of our request by the CEO of the company who actually works (he drives the little thing that removes all the old asphalt) and does not let others do the job. Mark Caskey is simply phantastic, was always there to listen to questions, brought with him at the time requested a troupe of fine folks that knew how to do the job efficiently. This is America at her best. He threw into the deal an extra little walkway for us to reach the garbage cans, simply exemplary craftsman ship. I am a pretty good judge of character and after my initial meeting with Mark, I knew that his company was the one I would hire. Very knowledgeable and clean cut appearance. - The job was a 2 day project. Day 1 consisted of tearing out my old driveway and sidewalks, setting forms and putting down the base and packing it down. Pro-Tech even installed a few of the drainage tubes at my request so that the water would channel into the yard instead of dumping onto the sidewalk. -Day 2 consisted of pouring the new concrete and sealing it later in the day. They filled in low areas with topsoil and leveled it out. This was a great experience from start to finish. Very professional from the time I called to the completion of the job. Quality of work was beyond my expectations!
