Scheduled conveniently and appeared at scheduled time. Great people, second time I've used their company and will repeat next year as well.

Went smoothly. Was a quick visit and system was in order.

They were on time, respectful, and answered any questions we might have had. We are very happy with what they did. They are dependable.

Everything went well. D and L came out and inspected the air conditioner as promised. The only maintenance needed was to refill some coolant, which they did.

The provider was very informative and easy to talk to. We were very satisfied with the service and would definitely use them again.

My wife and I returned from out of town late last night to a HOT house. The kids and mother-in-law were in a hot house without A/C for a few days. Our A/C was working at the end of last season, and I was planning on having a service soon. I called several local HVAC compnies (including the large one that usually services our furnace and A/C) but were told there was no availability until later in the week or next week by several of them. I called D & L and Bill told me he was on his way to a job in our neighborhood and would stop over after he is done. He communicated well, called me and kept me updated with expected time of arrival. He arrived on time, did a few diagnostics, and as expected, found the capacitor to be faulty. He replaced it promptly and had our system up and running. He then checked the refrigerant level and verified appropriate cooling at the coil. I'm really glad to have met Bill and will use he and his son's services in the future to replace our old furnace!

Bill called me back and I let him know we had two heat pumps A/C/Furnace. One of the units outside the rotors were not moving at all. The house was hot. He said he had a couple of service calls but would call me in a few hours and let me know when he could get here that day. He called and said he had one more job and then was coming to our home. Bill checked both heat pumps, the corresponding furnace/ AC units. On the one unit he replaced the capacitor which was bad and the unit's rotors started to revolve again. Cool air was once again circulating in our home. He added freeon to both units. When inspecting units downstairs it was discovered that the motor on one unit was no longer functioning (we had this unit serviced several years ago and the motor had been replaced at that time). The other unit was not working at all. Bill advised us to switch the motor from the non-functioning unit to the functioning unit, and replace the broken unit. Bill called back the next day to see how things were going. We advised him that the one unit was still going, but that my husband had switched the motors out and now the cool air was really working well. Bill advised us that a new 3 ton heat pump, furnace, all the lines replaced, and new thermostat would be approximately $5,500 installed with old unit hauled away. He also advised us that the freeon being used in our existing units will be obsolete within a few years due to EPA regulations. My husband and I both felt confident in what Bill told us; he was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. We were VERY pleased that he was able to come the same day we discovered our A/C was on the fritz. :-)

Bill came with very little notice, and very quickly and professionally solved our cooling issue. Since our A/C unit is almost 15 years old, he suggested we replace it with a new unit, but was not pushy at all about it. I would definitely use D&L in the future

That was good. They came out within a week of purchasing the deal and there were no additional charges. The work they did was preventative maintenance. I don't recall any bad experiences with them.

Over a span of two days (which had to be rescheduled a few times), the tech came out (late both days by about 15-30 minutes, which was important because I work a normal 9-5) and checked on it, he originally wanted to rewire my furnace and switch out my digital thermostat in order to check (both were working fine), he ended up miswiring, and then switching it back to how it was originally. Only a few minutes were spent on the A/C, which was taken apart and never put back together (shield/screws/etc), and I was offered to have it replaced for $2000.00, not at all what i was asking or looking for, and no real input on what was incorrect with the unit, definite waste of money and time on my part. However, if you have a perfectly working unit and just want someone to look at it and confirm you are good, this is probably a good deal. Luckily I am only out for $59, cost of an unnecessary thermostat, and about an hour of work time.

I wasn't too pleased with them. I felt like he didn't really do anything other than look at it.

I called and spoke with the owner of the company, and explained that my furnace was overheating and I wanted someone to come take a look at it. He said he would not be able to because he was out of town, but that I should call his son and schedule with him. I asked him what the service charge is for a job such as this one and he stated in no uncertain terms "Oh we don't charge you anything for just coming out to look at it." I called his son and scheduled an appointment with him to come out and take a look at it. Two days later he arrived with his partner and they took a look at the furnace. They decided I should get a new one. I thanked them for their services and they hit me with "We'll have to charge you $65 for a service charge." I explained that when I spoke with the owner I was told there would not be a service charge for this visit. He basically said he didn't care what his dad had told me, didn't know why he would tell me that and refused to honor the original agreement. I had worked with Bill Dohn in the past and found him to be a stand up guy, so I trusted him and took him at his word when he told me there wouldn't be a charge. I'm not sure who dropped the ball on this one but I am appalled at the way that I was treated. I felt completely taken advantage of, and would tell anyone considering this company to move on or at least be aware of their shady bait and switch practices.

Very well, as usual. Had some issues with humidifier that had Josh had to troubleshoot that forced a second trip. Thermostat was a bit high in price but much lower than a electronic valve, which appeared to be defective until it was replaced and did not fix the issue. Also had a bad water pipe tap, which caused extra troubleshooting time.

It was Friday night when I figured out the AC had stopped running. I call D & L Heating & Cooling on Saturday morning and left a message. With in 15 minutes I received a call back and he told me he was on another job and could be there in about 2 hours. With in 2 hours Bill arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had the parts needed with him so he went ahead and repaired the unit. Our AC was back on by 1PM and we were very happy. Fast friendly service and a fair price!

We purchased the $59 Angie's List air conditioning special. The owner showed up and completed the inspection and added a pound of coolant. He also identified a problem we were having on keeping our upstairs cool in the summer. He advised us to keep the fan running when the air conditioner was on. This has made a big difference along with the additional coolant to the system. Overall i am pleased and it was worth the visit.

It didn't go at all. Had to request refund for the service

I was able to get the appointment in a very timely manner. The extra freon cost $70, which was higher than I expected...but our AC Unit had not been serviced in 11 years so maybe that is typical. Just glad to have it taken care of~

Serviceman was here at the most 10 minutes. Told me the rattling in my unit was from the filter being installed improperly but still have the noise and just purchased another Angie's Deal to have another company come out and service the unit. Serviceman said he added Freon but was not going to charge me. I doubt he added anything in the short amount of time he was here. On the plus side he did work within my schedule and was punctual and available quickly.

I bought an Angie's List Big Deal to have my Air Conditioner inspected and tuned up. The gentleman that came was very nice and professional. He went over both the outside air conditioner and the inside as well as the venting system. My air conditioner was a little low on Freon which he filled for no extra charge. He also pointed out some of my vents were partially shut, and wanted to make sure I knew that. I did as it helps keep the heat distributed better in the winter, but I was impressed he took the time to check that and point it out. Very happy with Service.

The unit was clean and in good shape, so all he had to do was refill a small amount of freon. I was a little surprised when I was charged another $35 for the freon. I guess it was in the small print, but I just wasn't expecting it and didn't know it was that expensive either. Overall he was very prompt, friendly, and professional though.

The provider and I could not seem to get in contact with each other. My AC is working fine, so I'll try to get an inspection deal before fall.

I purchased the $59 big deal for an inspection, cleaning and tune up for my air conditioning unit. I attempted to call the service provider five times, left one voice mail, and haven't heard from them as of yet. I needed someone that could provide quicker service and professionalism so I decided to move on to a better service provider.

He communicated well. He was very professional. He was concerned about how much Freon he needed to add. He suggested we call him early spring next year for a service to be sure there's no leak. We plan to.

D & L Heating and Cooling provided the basic service for $59.00, and asked for permission to add Freon (after providing a price for the Freon). The representative arrived, checked the furnace/blower, checked the new filter, cleaned the A/C unit and added the Freon in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company.
