Doug fixed our issue within an hour of contacting him was very professional and upfront about what caused the issue and fixed it . Would call him first over the other guys thank you!!

D&L heating and cooling really provides a very high level of service at a reasonable price. They have helped me make good choices about what to repair or replace in my heating and cooling systems, and their prices are quite good. Josh has a wealth of experience and knowledge and is able to troubleshoot and repair systems that are quite new, with all of the technology that comes with them. Furthermore, Josh seems to know exactly what to do with systems that date back to the 1940's.

Josh is very good at what he does. He made the repairs look so easy and get it fixed so quickly in the Winter time!

My experience with D&L Heating and Cooling was fantastic. They responded promptly to my AC unit going out and I’m in a very rural area. All work was done quickly and professionally. My new AC unit is working great. Customer service is top notch and would definitely use them again as well as recommend them to others.

Excellent - Josh explained all options and likelihoods in detail to me. I chose to go the extra expense of adding sealant on the chance that it may fix the leak problem. He was efficient with his time and cleaned up after himself. I was appreciative that he called me when he found an open time-slot on a Saturday.

From the first phone call Josh was thoughtful, caring, and kind. Said he was busy but if I couldn't find anyone else to call him back (we live out in the country). You get that gut feeling about people and mine was that this was someone I could trust to do the right thing. Sure enough he came out and found our unit simply needs serviced and cleaned.

Installation took less time than estimated and they cleaned up after themselves.

From the minute he walked in the door I felt it was not going to end well. He didn't come to the door prepared with any tools and didn't seem as if he wanted to help me. He unaware of the numerous documents and guides on how to hook up a digital thermostat with 4 wires, which are available all over the internet. Just told me everything I did was wrong, I was following Honeywell's instructions. Only tools he got out of his truck were a screw driver and flashlight, no multimeter or anything to check connections to try and troubleshoot problem. I ended up having to call a real HVAC company who was way more professional and ended up finding the old broken wore that was causing all my issues, not how I had the wires connected! This guy was way too old school, not up to date on the digital thermostats, and was a waste of my time and money. I will not be calling them ever again and I don't recommend you do either.

It was good. I don't know the cost, but my husband didn't complain about it.

We had an issue, and we just called Josh and he just comes right out. He's fantastic!He didn't charge us; he had a part on him and just brought it out and just fixed it.He didn't even charge for it.

came on time. installed with no issues. were clean and swift. and anytime i have had any issues or concerns with unit Josh shows up and solves solutions promptly. I am happy with this company

I called D&L to get a second opinion on a price for a blower motor replacement. D&L was very honest and told me I was getting taken advantage of, original quote of over $800. Josh was very willing to work with us on the repair time and quickly replaced the blower and serviced the unit under half the price of the original company (Fire & Ice). I very much appreciate their honesty and willingness to work with us.

Great! He showed at appointment time and had the problem fixed with in an hour.

I called D and L because they put in my furnace a few months ago and the son did a great job. I called them back about 3 to 4 weeks ago because I was having problems with my air conditioning. The son said that he could not check it at the time of the furnace being installed because of the cold weather outside when the furnace went out. The father Bill went out to look at the air condition and he said I needed a new motor. He gave me a price and I ask him if he could give me a discount because they put in my furance. He told me that his son put in my furnace and that I would have to talk to him. He said he would have his son give me a call. After a few days of not receiving a call from his son, I called him back and Bill said that he forgot and that he would have his son call me. They never called back after 3 more attempts and did not answer the phone, I tried to call the son and he did not answer either. My tenant even called them because this was for a rental property. My tenant told me that they said they did not want to do business with me because I tried to get the price lower. Now I only asked them if they could give me a discount because they put in my furnace. At that point all they had to say was no. Instead my tenant went without air for 3 weeks. I called another provider to do the work and they told me whoever told you that you needed a new motor was wrong. All that new provider did was fill my air-condition full of freon. So what turned out as a bad situation ended up being better because I saved lots of money by having the new provider work on my furnace. The problem now is I that I have a furnace that D and L installed, if I have problems in the future with my furnance who do I call because they are not answering the phone for me. It has a warranty for 10 years.

Employees argued with each other, loud enough for my neighbor to hear and inform me about. They didn't clean up after themselves. Walked through my house with dirty shoes. Cut the vapor barrier in my crawl space and didn't repair it. Made a hole in the side of my house to run new electrical lines and didn't replace the hole. Didn't place the AC unit where we discussed. Cleaned out the condensation line that goes from the unit to a drain in my laundry room. Left all of the debris from the line on the floor of my laundry room and all over our clean clothes. Called to express my concerns and was redirected to a second person. That person gave me a simple "sorry" and nothing else was done. The price I paid I thought I would receive a high quality unit. The AC unit that was installed has the minimum rating required to pass inspection.

It went very well, despite one unforeseen issue. We've had them install a new furnace for us years ago. Josh came out punctually and replaced the new water heater. A couple days later, we had a subsequent problem with a pipe leak in the basement perhaps related to the new water heater (but actually due to MI Homes' shoddy original plumbing!), and Josh came right out and replaced the pipe promptly. He was always patient, efficient, and professional in his work.

Very responsive. Came two days after purchasing the coupon and having no more problems with the a/c unit!
