All went well. What I appreciate is how quick they fit me in. I called late afternoon on Thursday after turning A/C on and not getting any cool air. Bill got back to me and asked me to call Josh. I called Josh and he came out around 1pm on the next day. He analyzed the system and determined freon was needed. He added and ran some more tests. They originally installed this AC in 8/2011. He said there could be a leak in the system but there was no simple way to tell, he did say to call back if it seemed like the air wasn't cool any longer. I asked him to provide quotes on full system replacements in case we opt to go that route. Our furnace is very old. He answered all questions and said he'd provide quotes through email which was fine with me. I said "n/a" for quality since I wasn't sure if this was a lasting solution or not, so it didn't apply to my situation. Price seemed a bit high, especially after reading other reviews where freon was added. He did say the freon was expensive. I will add review if we decide to replace system with them.

This provider did a very nice job. This was an emergency and they came right away. They cleaned up after themselves.

Failed to get back to us regarding scheduling our appointment, after several contacts--most of which we initiated. Josh said they were very busy and we were leaving on a trip, so that worked out OK for us, but we ended up cancelling the contract after they failed to get back to us for more than 1 1/2 weeks after we were told we would be contacted. Feel this shows a lack of professionalism and organizational skills.

We have used them several times over the past couple years. We are always pleased with their service.

It went fine. He was a little late from another appointment, maybe around an hour.. But that was fine. Everything checked out and it seems to be blowing colder air now with the recharge.

I bought a big deal for this service and it was okay. I spent some additional over the price of the deal but I don't remember how much. I was not expecting an extra charge for Freon. He told me I was getting a deal, but you never know with repairmen.

Bill was on time and was a great help. We bought a house and the AC unit hadn't been serviced in 3-4 years. Bill had to add extra freon which drove up the cost but as a result we noticed the house was cooling down quicker than it had previously. We also talked about the possibility of needing to purchase a new AC down the road (the one in the house is 16 years old) and the estimate he gave me was in line with others. Overall I was very happy with his service and I plan to use him next summer as well.

All went well. Above the special price of $59.00 I was charged for Freon. I believe I paid another $70.00 for Freon.

The guy came out to check my A/C unit and perform the tune-up, inspection, and cleaning. He called me about 15 times to find my home and when he arrived asked where the basement was so he could look at the unit. He stuck a thermometer into the duct work to check the unit, which is something I have never seen before with previous companies and inspections. He essentially told me that my unit looks good and was there for about 10 minutes and left, I didn't receive the cleaning or feel that I have gotten my moneys worth from this company or deal.

I notified D & L Heating And Cooling at approximately 5:30 in the evening on a Thursday. Arrived home to the Air Conditioning not working and with the outdoor temp around 100 degrees and the indoor temp approaching 88 degrees and with severe lung issues, problems were quickly developing. I had called a different, but very well known air cooling and heting company in Columbus and first they did not care that I couldn't breathe due to the severe heat and two they wanted to charge me all these fees just to show up and refused to come by as an emergency call. I then came across D & L Heating And Cooling on Angie's List and through all the reviews I quickly came to the conclusion that this company was my answer. I called and left a voicemail. At about 7p I received a call back from Bill with D & L Heating And Cooling . He asked a couple of questions regarding the state of the unit that my husband was able to answer and I shared with him that I had severe breathing issues. He started out right away to help us. He was about 45 minutes out. He arrived right when he said he could get her. Was very nice right away. He took a look at the unit, the thermostat and the furnace itself and got to work. It took him about 30 minutes and he had it fixed. Replaced a capacitor and filled the unit with 2lbs of freon. He was very clean, polite and normal! I will absolutely continue to use their services as needed and would recommend them to anyone needing work done. In fact we are getting ready to have a new home built and I'm certain we will use them to install our new units when the time arrives. My husband and I very much appreciated his speediness and the great work. Granted I didn't receive the $10 off the service call for being an Angie's List member, but to be honest, that might be on me. By the time he got here it was very difficult to catch my breathe that it slipped my mind until after he was gone and things started to get back to normal.

They were on time and did good work. I would use them again.

They don't matter and I would not recommend them, Its really terrible and I would not use this again in future. Its really terrible.

Technician checked A/C under an Angie's List special for $59. He charged an additional $70 for freon (thus the $129 total).

Checkup and recharge went okay. Believe more should have been done on checkup and further information provided.

Trouble locating issue (capacitor) but finally did and unit works fine.

Project took longer than anticipated. Humidifier was checked and operated fine during the winter of 2014-2015.

Contractor had to add Freon to system and advised customer that heat pump system would need to be replaced soon.

Great adviser and also was very kind. I felt like I was treated fairly and he also advised me how much a new air conditioner would cost and also at what point I would have to buy a new one.

Great and fast service. He explained everything he was doing and offered suggestions on how the cool the house best.

Dan was professional and performed the fix on the spot. Did a great job.
