The cable drums on my garage door broke. Automatic Garage Door Co. came and made the repair. The technician did not try to pressure sales me and he made the repair quickly and efficiently. You can be sure that when I am ready to buy a new garage door, that Automatic Garage Co. will be the company that I call. A few weeks ago I had a competitor come to my house and I requested the same repair and I was pressure sold and even left with a garage door left wide open when I would not make a down payment on a new door.. Automatic Garage Co. was professional, honest, and even worked with a smile. I would recommend them to everyone and will be happy to use them again in the future!

Steve came on a Saturday morning for us, showed up on time and installed a new keypad quickly. Made the whole process so easy and reasonably priced!

Jeff managed to fit us in within a few hours of us calling. He was very responsive and extremely professional. He was in and out within an hour after repairing everything and confirming full functionality. Pricing was very reasonable as well. Could not be happier with his service. Monica at the office squeezed me in for an appointment the next morning. She was polite, answered my questions, and the perfect voice for this company. Jeff called about 15 minutes before arrival and was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. He listened to my issues and could well have said I needed a new machine, but did not. He was honest, fast, and made every attempt to correct my issues in as prompt a manner as possible. Just from talking to him I could tell he was proud to be the face of this family company, and would do anything required to make his customers understand that he planned to treat everyone like he would like to be treated. I only wish he knew as much about heating, air-conditioning, plumbing, etc as he clearly does about garage doors, because I could use his assistance in areas where even Angie's List recommended people are lacking. I would hire this comapny again without reservation.

I was extremely pleased with my transaction with this company. The purchase of a new garage door was a considerable expense for me, and also an important aesthetic decision as it changed the “face” of my property so substantially. This was one of two companies that I consulted and I went with this one largely due to the confidence I derived from the time Jeff Varney spent helping me troubleshoot design options until we settled on something I felt good about. If you have ever looked at any of those brochures and considered the mind boggling number of design configurations they contain then you know that this is no mean feat. Beyond this I would praise the care taken with measurements, insuring a good fit, and educating me about them and the options for the lift apparatus. My door was installed in less than a week by Karl who also was friendly, thorough, competent, and clear with explanations. I am happy with my graceful, beautiful new door and glad for a company operating with generosity and skill.

My garage door was not "floating" in a neutral position. In fact, when the door was raised completely the wires that should have been tightly coiled were loose. This was causing an issue with the garage door opener (a Chamberlain belt drive system). I contacted them via their website on Sunday night and received a call back the Monday morning. Karl, the service tech, was at my house about 1:30 and was finished by 2:30. He was fast, friendly, polite, and he moved quickly, but deliberately. He tightened up the door to where it should have been and reprogrammed the garage door opener for the correct travel distance. I was very happy with the response speed and the service I received. Karl was quite knowledgeable and offered me some maintenance tips to keep the door operating longer and better.

after dealing with two inept contractors, one of whom tried very hard to sell me a complete new door for $1500.00, it was a complete pleasure to deal with automatic door co. the serviceman (Karl) was friendly and professional, and did excellent work.

It went great. The springs broke Friday evening, and I phoned Jeff, who returned my call in a very timely manner. I told him it was not an emergency and but did need someone by the next day. He was very friendly and courteous and said as they had quite a few appointments Saturday it might be early afternoon until he could get to us, but they'd be there as soon as they could. Karl came Saturday morning, which was great. He too was very friendly, courteous and professional and got the job done! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and recommend their excellent services.

Everything went great. It was easy to schedule the appointment, and the work was completed that day. The new opener is so much quieter than the old one. We are very happy.

Jeff was awesome. I called him on a Sunday and agreed to wait for service on Monday. I did have to call him back Monday morning around 9am to schedule his arrival time, but once onsite Jeff was very thorough and professional.

Jeff arrived when he said he would. Although it was a Saturday there was no extra service charge. He repaired the door that was having the issue and maintained the other door while he was here. I would definitely this company agree. I felt the fee they charged was very reasonable.

Automatic came to look at an issue with the old opener not working. Determined the cost to fix the opener was not worth it and we should just replace it with a new unit. Automatic was prompt and did a great job. Would use again.

Our door is older and the first repair person did not have springs that would fit. We opted to have new springs installed that would mean replacing another piece of the machinery that lifts the door. It raised the initial estimate but not drastically. The other choice would have been to replace the whole door and we weren't ready for that. We had to make another appointment for the repair. The employee came out looked at the door and said "This will be a pain in the ***." Then proceeded to make the fix in less than an hour. The door works perfectly and is much quieter. We are happy with the results. The hazards of living in a small somewhat rural town is that appointments get delayed often. Automatic did a good job at letting us know about any delays.

Jeff came out to my home to install a garage door opener. He was on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. While working, he noticed that an important piece was missing from my garage door, and offered to install it then and there for a small fee. We've been very pleased with Automatic Garage Door Company whenever we've needed work done on our garage.
