Just had Steve here from Automatic Garage Door, nice guy, professional and got the job done quickly and professionally, (replacing tortion spring and cables) and for what I was quoted! Great company and honest too.

Jeff showed up on time the day after we purchased the home, evaluated both doors and provided several garage opener options (we opted for the highest-end openers with all the bells and whistles like Wi-Fi, lifetime motor warranty, etc.). He required a part for the newer door that needed to be special ordered, so he said he would call when it came in and provide a final estimate of work. When the part came in a couple days later, we received the estimate via both phone and email and set up an appointment for the work to be performed. Again, he showed up on time and spent the entire day working on completing a very professional install of both openers. For the old wooden garage door, he replaced some of the rollers that were bad with some good spares he found lying around in our old garage we didn't even know were there! Because the tracks on the old door would not accommodate the newer sensor mounts, he even provided older mounting hardware for those so that the door would work properly. He went the extra mile and spent the time to ensure that we could keep the historical wooden garage door when I am pretty sure someone else not having his skill, patience, and persistence would have just told us they would have to replace it completely. Jeff is friendly, does top-notch work, calls you back promptly, and does what he says. We are very pleased with the work performed, and will be telling others about Jeff and his company.

Jeff did a great job. I was at work when I made the appointment, and he called me one hour in advance so that I had time to meet him at the house. He was right on time and spent about an hour doing the repair, plus fully checking out and tuning up both of my garage doors. Highly recommend!

I contacted the company this morning regarding a broken spring related to the garage door. Jim called me back within the hour and he had a technician at my home within the next hour. All I can say is wow - so rare these days to receive this type of service. I discovered my spring had broken on my garage door around 10:15 on Sat. morning. I called AGC and spoke with Jeff the owner. I explained it was an emergency as I could not open my door and I had to be able to get my car out as I had to be at my place of employment at 1:15pm that day. He took my information and in about 20 minutes I received a call from Jim who told me he was in Aurora, was on his way and would be there in about 40 minutes. He arrived around noon,. He was extremely professional and explained what needed to be done. He said it would take him about 40 minutes. He put on a new spring, did a tune up and finished at 12:50. I was able to leave for work at 1pm - right on time. I cannot say enough about the service I received. Not only was everything done expertly but on absolutely no notice in an emergency situation. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I called on Tuesday a little after 12:00. He was home by 2:00 pm. Fixed broken springs (2 of them). Had to go get parts and it was all fixed by 3:15 pm. I appreciated his quick service and very reasonable price.

Jeff was very responsive. I called last minute on a Saturday and was able to schedule a service appointment same day. Jeff was prompt for our appointment, was very professional and did a great job. I would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

Excellent. The office staff was friendly, as was the technician that completed the service (who I was touched to learn was also the owner of the company!). He was so polite and thorough in his work, answered all my questions and helped me better understand how garage doors function.

I highly recommend this company! On my way to an important business meeting my garage door died and would not close. As soon as I had a free moment, I called them after finding them here on Angie's List. I called at around 11:30am and they were able to squeeze me in that day as the owner was already in my town at another appointment! They arrived at 3 and had assessed the problem, shown me what needed to be fixed and completed the work by 4:45pm. Professional, knowledgeable and I will definitely use them and refer others to them in the future!

The price was expensive because they installed a new door but they have a good price and that’s why I chose them and they did good.

Came out the same day I called them. Professional, personable and effective repairs at a reasonable price. Would use them again.

Call them when my garage door would not go up. They came out the next morning. They got the door up so I could get my car out. They reviewed what was wrong and showed me the problems. Later that afternoon I had a quote on what it would take to fix it along with an estimate on two alternatives for a new door. I chose the new door. They had the new door in stock and replaced it the next day (about 21/2 hours). Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional and most important, competent. Very good experience.

The door wouldn't close completely. It kept getting most of the way closed then reversing. When we called for service, they were nearby and were able to come out right away. The problem turned out to be several mis-adjustments: The large spring was too tight, the load sensor in the unit was too sensitive and there were some loose bolts fastening the hinges to the door. The problems were found and fixed fast. Cost was reasonable.

Called on Saturday (when the spring broke); setup a tentative time for Monday afternoon; repairman onsite, took spring info (had to order a replacement); came out next day (same time) and replaced within 45 minutes; adjusted automatic door up-down settings and oiled all moving parts. Excellent job.

He showed up on time/early. Which was wonderful. I explained what was happening. He said give him a minute to look at it. He told me what I needed and how much it would be. I told him that was great. He said he could install right now. He did it fast and efficiently. He explained everything about the door to me and explained quarterly maintainence on the wheels and door. Then he was finished. He was Wonderful.

They were wonderful. He didn't have my spring size, so he came back that Friday. Then he brought two springs because he had to replace both at the same time. I don't remember his name, but he was very nice. He greased everything. I thought the price was reasonable. I was very happy with their service. I would use them again.

I asked a multitude of questions prior to making the decision and they were extremely helpful throughout that process! Installation was scheduled promptly. The installer was very professional and did a great job. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

I called them and they scheduled us within 2 days. They were punctual and explained everything they were doing and what they found wrong. They replaced the part and finished cleaning the automatic garage door opener. We were very pleased with their service.

The spring in my garage door suddenly broke, and I was unable to open the door. I called Automatic Door Co. for a rush job and a serviceman came to my house within an hour. Karl immediately knew the problem and quickly repaired the door. He also provided tips on purchasing future automatic door openers, and he even programmed the garage door opener installed in my car. Karl was very professional and personable. I would definitely call the Automatic Door Co. again and refer their services to others.

We initially called on a Sunday and they came Monday morning as promised. When I called about the spring snapping, I was told how to get the door up and they came a few hours later to install two springs.
