It's going good and they are prompt.

After I could not afford this last fall, Davey honored my quote from last fall. The workers were courteous and conscientious. The trees were trimmed to my expectations. They were careful of my property and cleaned up after themselves well. They took about a day and a half to trim all 5 trees. I am happy.

On time and as promised. They did an excellent job, cleaned up and left the yard in good shape. As usual a pleasure to deal with.

Nick responded promptly to phone calls and met with us after office hours. He was thorough and professional. The tree work looked fine. A problem occurred as a result of heavy equipment which the team brought to our attention. We were compensated and are well satisfied with the result. Would not hesitate to use them again.

We had a large part of a tree fall on our property recently from the extreme winds. Gordon Matthews of Davey tree was able to get the tree removed the next day even though they were backed up with multiple requests. He was prompt with giving us an estimate and returned all phone calls quickly. The tree was removed with all of the debris within 30 minutes even though they had to use a crane to remove the large section of tree. I would highly recommend them.

The work turned out fine. It was good. That one tree was in trouble and it survived. So, I guess it is a good sign. The price was a little expensive. I would use them again in the future if I could afford it.

Nick came out to give me an estimate to have an oak tree in my back yard trimmed. He was the only one who told me about oak wilt, a disease that affects oak trees & can kill the tree in as little as 3 weeks. My tree is many decades old & is irreplaceable.Nick advised that they would not even touch the tree until November when it is dormant & less susceptible to the disease. I talked with other companies who not only did not mention this disease but would trim the tree within the next few weeks. I very much do not want to lose this tree & even though Nick's estimate was double another estimate that I got (it was also half as much as one estimate) I will have Davey Tree trim the tree in November.

I have used Davey tree several times. Originally I had them come to do a complimentary survey of my yard when we purchased our house. They sent out an experienced arborist who provided good information. We hired them to trim some oak and maple trees, as the trees were overgrown and the branches were too thick and rubbing against each other, which can create wounds that allow insects and bugs to enter and also can be dangerous in high winds. The following year one of our blue spruce trees was losing needles at the top, so we called Davey to inspect it. They diagnosed a bore problem. We hired them to treat the tree for bores and also to fertilize that and another tree. This year we are repeating the bore treatment and the fertilization. The blue spruce is doing much better since the treatments. Davey may be a bit on the high end price wise, but I trust their employees to be exceptionally well educated and trained. Additionally, they have always been very polite, professional, and prompt. I love and value my yard and am willing to put some money into keeping it healthy.

The estimate was done quickly and timely. Due to weather and work load, it took some time to get the actual service done which was fine since there was no rush. I'd recommend them highly. Pricing was better than 2 other providers I contacted and I felt Davey and the arborist at this location were more professional than others.

The Davey representative evaluated the 22 trees in my back yard. Two huge beech were the focus of our conversation and he made it clear why they needed to be felled. He also evaluated the health of my oaks, maples, elms, dogwoods, and blue spruce I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism..

The description above was not just for one time but for the whole summer - and we used them for over eight years. There was no pressure to complete services or add services. We had a wonderful representative who was a professional arborist who knew his stuff and gave us all sorts of advice at no charge. They just arrived always on time, did their job and left without ever bothering us. They just left a description of their work in the front door. Also, when something went wrong, like when crab grass failed to be controlled, they corrected the problem without any additional charge. You may find someone for less but you will not find any company as good and as knowledgeable as Davey Tree.

They are excellent, great, and I'm very happy with them.

Gordon assessed the trees to be taken out, stump removals and prepared a property map and an estimate. The crew arrived, as scheduled, at 8:30 in the morning. Taking only a brief lunch, they worked until nearly 5:00 in the evening and removed 25 trees. Amazing!!! They were very efficient. No wasted motion. And, they cleaned up as they went. They came prepared, with the right equipment and worked very well as a team. They were careful and completed the job. The stump removal was delayed due to the heavy rains and wet ground until a later day. They did a fantastic job.

I've used them before and I like the idea that they will do everything. I find a lot of lawn care places who don't cut trees because they don't have the equipment and stuff, and then I'll find a place that cuts trees but they don't do the other work. So it's really hard to find one that's total like them.

Very professional, quick response, came when they said (in fact earlier), friendly workers, were careful not to damage the yard, and cleaned-up after they were done.

They do a very good job and their pricing is very fair. I was happy with them. They did break a couple of lights but other than that they cleaned up and were very good. They answer right away but can’t always come out especially when there is a hurricane where they will take a long time to come out. If a tree is on my roof or if I have any other emergency, they will come much sooner. I would use them again in the future.

They are very competent and very professional. I would give them A’s across the board.

We live in a new development that’s about 8 or 9 years old. There are about 50 houses here, and everybody in Hartville uses Davey Tree Expert, because everybody else uses them too!

They did it in 3 parts, they actually did the removal of the shrubs, they had a subcontractor come in and had removed the stumps, and they finally fertilized trees. I was not all that sad about how fast they did it; they also had a scheduling problem. They said they would be here in 3 weeks but they ended up being here in 4 or 5 weeks. When I spoke to the office they said, the guy that I actually talked to was the guy who scheduled work, they are not necessary in line with what they can do. We had a hard time in this area to find people to do the work firstly. There were a couple of places that did not even return our call; at least these people came up and had a look at it and did the work. I don’t know what the competition pricing is, as they are the only guys who came out and did anything.

They were very professional. They got the job done. They did all they could not to harm any other part of the lawn.

They do really great work. I have used them for a number of years.
