My trees were assessed as overall healthy but stressed by the lack of rain we've had. Future treatments were discussed and agreed to in order to help them in the future. Future decease control for my elm trees was also discussed. Fall pruning was descussed. A written estimate was e-mailed to me. My overall impression was of a very professional company.

Oak tree removal and stump grinding was done quickly and efficiently. The tree was in the back yard close to the house so they had to use a crane to take it out. Everything was cleaned up nicely, I'd hire again. All told including clean up, 5 hours maybe?

Davey Tree service does a wonderful job in caring for our lawn, shrubs and trees. Since using them, we have no more problems with Japanese beetles. Our lawn is green and lush, and our shrubbery and trees are thriving. When I've had concerns about our trees, they have been quick to come and inspect them and give us advice.

They arrived at the scheduled time and promptly prepared the work area. The trucks were legally and safely parked and signs and traffic cones placed. Care was taken around electrical and telephone wires. Limbs and branches were fed into a chipper as soon as they came down. All equipment was in perfect running condition and there were no delays. The stump was ground down and the complete work area was swept and cleaned. There was not any cigarette butts or break-time trash. The crew was very respectful to us, our neighbors and passing traffic.

They do the work promptly. The fertilization program results were mediocre. I have no issues with the tree removal.

It went very well. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it.

We had a large declining maple removed from the front yard and about 50 saplings and small trees removed from around the yard. Scott Heim (Arborist) came out to the property and did a walk around with me within a week of calling for the estimate. He emailed me the estimate a few days later. Once I agreed to the proposal, they called the day before they came out to the property about 2-3 weeks later. They did a wonderful job with the cleanup.

The dead tree was in a spot where machines could not get to it, so it would have to be done by hand. They were not the cheapest quote I received but they do our lawn service and they do a good job with that, I so chose them to remove the tree. They were punctual, cleaned up all their mess, and did a good job.Very pleased and would hire again.

Very professional and skilled. I was amazed how easy they made it look, but could see the skill involved when he was making precise cuts with a one handed chainsaw. It was almost as if the chainsaw was an extension of his own body. Guys on the ground were quite busy too chopping the larger limbs into smaller pieces ready for the log splitter. The work area was much cleaner after they left than before they got there. These guys really were that good! Highly recommend!

We scheduled an appointment for an estimate online and got an estimate within 2 days. The estimate was a bit higher than we expected, but not completely out of range. Once we got back and let them know that we wanted to schedule the service, the service was scheduled for the next day! The crew was prompt, efficient and cleaned up after themselves completely, I couldn't have asked for a better job!

I have used Davey Tree Expert Company for years and have grown somewhat dissatisfied with some of the services that they provided. After the first "application" of spray on my landscape plants and shrubs for pests, I decided to cancel the rest of the services that I had scheduled with them. The contract reads that they will spray all landscape plants and shrubs "as needed". When their technician came out to spray, he walked around the property, sprayed a few things here and there and then left. About a week later, I received a statement for the full cost of spraying. In reality, he only sprayed a few plants and shrubs, and I felt that the charge was excessive for the work done. This has happened in the past and I neglected to say anything. However, this time I was home when the spraying was done and watched what was taking place. The key here in the contract are the words "as needed". So I'm guessing if they came out to spray, and you didn't have any pests gnawing on your plants and shrubs, you still would be billed for the entire cost contracted for even though they didn't have to spray anything. I decided that I can do my own spraying at a significantly reduced cost. Davey Tree Expert Company are professionals and have always had good advice. However, I just felt that their charges were excessive for the work completed or not completed because it wasn't "needed".

Davey Tree is a top-notch professional organization. I could not be any more pleased!
