Things were very smooth with Jerry. We communicated back and forth through email and was always very responsive with him replies. Scheduling was easy, they arrived right on time and the job was done very well. I will use them again for future painting needs.

Jerry was great. He was very responsive and showed up when he scheduled the job. Rich did the work and he did a great job. I was very pleased with the work which was completed in the time frame they planned. As far as I'm concerned, I have had other painters in the past, I've found my painter.

Hired Fresh Coat to paint my house and garage. . Luckily I was home the day they power washed. They did not take time to be careful around the windows and several rooms got water into the house. I was home to follow them around and clean up immediately otherwise I would have come home to some stained walls and furniture. The house was painted and looks great, although they missed a spot. the contract was also to do some minor repair work where animals had chewed some boards This was not done and Jerry said he would take care of it. After several emails, they did come out and fix two of the boards. there is still one board that is not fixed. I reminded Jerry of this and he has not responded to my last email. In fairness I never actually met with Jerry due to both our work schedules. In the future I will make sure I work with the provider to go over every detail so there is no confusion. I would probably work with Fresh Coat again but make sure that is at least one one-on-one meeting to go over everything and not pay a bill until all work is complete.

Jerry and his crew did a terrific job! They were fast, efficient, and left the exterior grounds extremely clean. Jerry was prompt returning my calls and e-mails. He also came around as the job was completed for a final look. I plan on hiring them again for interior work in the future.

The painters arrived promptly as scheduled and proceeded to carefully cover windows and frames before painting the siding. Applied two coats of paint on siding. Removed covering over windows and frames and covered siding so that trim, gutters and soffit could be painted. Removed shutters and repainted. Repaired several damaged pieces of aluminum trim. Painted front and back doors. The house looks beautiful. The painters did an excellent job and even left us some paint for our swing in the back yard. The owner came out to inspect the job after finishing. He offered to replace a corner piece of trim where our satellite dish had been attached - at no additional cost. I would recommend Fresh Coat to anyone considering painting their house.

Last Fall Jerry and his crew did some outside painting for us on two occasions. First was the porch, doors and shutters. Then a month or so later, they stained our two level deck where they also replaced a few boards that needed to be removed. We were very happy with his professionalism, quote and workmanship. So, when we recently purchased a new-to-us home, no one else was even asked to quote. Jerry, again, was very prompt in responding to my request for a quote. The crew showed up on time and treated our home as if it were their own. The house has tons !! of woodwork and crown molding; and a two story stone fireplace. I haven't found any paint on anything that it shouldn't be on. The walls look wonderful. I will recommend them whenever I have the opportunity. And, I will definitely call them again if the need arises.

Had a major problem with peeling/flaking paint in garage ceiling. Fresh Coat was courteous and professional throughout, from estimate to billing and of course the actual work. Decided to paint the entire 3-car garage, they consulted with us throughout the job and it quite simply looks awesome. Now we have to do the interior, since we realize how great a freshly painted area looks! Jerry and his crew were great!

I don?t usually leave reviews, but these guys were so amazing I?m making it a point to do so now. I reached out to 7 professional painters who I found on Angie?s list for a quote; 4 returned my calls and came out to provide a free estimate, 3 actually provided a timely estimate. I was looking to potentially have a large, costly project done including: (1) ceilings throughout the house (2700 sqr ft), (2) the following walls painted one color (Sherwin Williams) throughout the house: 2 story foyer and attached halls, 1.5 baths, 1 bedroom, living room, family room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room, (3) dark red trim work painted white in the living room, dining room and small hall and (4) repaint the spindles and base of the railing white and re-stain the rail a darker color. Jerry with Fresh Coat came out and gave me a quote right away, and was very thorough in his note taking as we walked throughout the house. He immediately let me know before I could even ask that he will break out his estimate in case we didn?t want to have the full project done all at once and that any price he quotes will stick in case we defer portions of the project until later. Once his quote was received it was very nicely broken out and organized. The other quotes we received were not broken out, even after I specifically asked them to do so since we would likely not be completing the project all at once due to costs. Additionally, Jerry?s quote was by far the lowest. He quoted me $4000 for the full job (trim work was free for a job over $3k, otherwise $300). The other 2 quotes received came in at $6,295 and $7,740. Fresh Coat was literally thousands less. On top of it, the $7,740 quote didn?t even include the stair railing because they said that staining it wouldn?t be cost effective and that we should just buy a new railing. We obviously chose Fresh Coat Painters to complete the work. We were under a budget, so we chose to do some of the work ourselves and have Jerry complete only pieces. He painted for us the ceiling in our large master bedroom, the ceiling in the nursery room (keep in mind that the walls in both of these rooms were already painted), the ceiling in the 2 story foyer, hall and living room/kitchen. He also painted the walls in the 2 story foyer/attached halls and family room. As a last minute add on he painted the trim in the family room white (already white trim) because my husband and I were not able to get to it in time. There was also significant repair work that needed patched in the family room (significant to me, according to Jerry just minor). Total cost was $1500. Jerry let us know that it would take 3 days at the most. They started on Wednesday at 9am and were finished Thursday by 3 or 4. Less than 2 full days to do what would have taken me weeks to accomplish! The work completed was amazing. My husband and I literally walked around the house looking for mistakes and found only the smallest of errors after searching wall by wall (a few tiny nail holes not patched and a tiny speck of paint on the dresser in our bedroom which easily wiped off). I also want to point out that they went above and beyond. My husband and I painted the walls in our bedroom ourselves, and because the ceiling was so bumpy we were not able to cut in the paint lines very well? so there were gaps. It honestly looked horrible. Fresh Coat asked us if we had any leftover paint and cut in all the lines for us? just because that?s the way they are. They didn?t charge or ask for even a coffee in return. It now looks amazing. I also asked them while they were there if it would be possible to remove the light hanging in the entryway because we did not have a ladder high enough to reach it. I wanted to paint the outdated light fixture black and then rehang it. Not only did they remove it, they insisted on coming back the next day after I had a chance to complete my project to hang it back up for me ? again free of charge. They ended up not re-hanging it, but only because last minute we decided to buy a new light instead of recycling that one, so we cancelled them stopping by. They also painted the metal on a spotlight so that it would look nice against the stark white ceiling ? this was again something they offered that I hadn?t even thought of. Again ? free of charge. I have only good things to say about Fresh Coat Painters of Hudson. They were clean, kind, courteous, professional, detail oriented. When they left you could barely even tell they had been there. They went so far as to even have indoor only shoes. I could go on and on and on. When it comes down to it these are the guys you want painting your home. Don?t even waste time gathering other quotes. We have additional work we know we will have completed in the next year or 2 and will no doubt have Fresh Coat out to complete the work. Sorry to the readers for the novel ? Quoted an extensive exterior painting job with Jerry. He was very nice. Seemed to have a handle with working on an antique home. I contracted to have my job scheduled for the end of September. Everything was in order until this week when he contacted me to say he could not complete my job due to changes at Fresh Coat corporate. The changes are favorable to him but he could not complete my job. I am a little frustrated since we scheduled my job prior to Labor Day. I wish he had been more forthcoming then. I am now scrambling around to try and get my house painted before the winter. Jerry is great. I hope he is able to straighten out his business and take more jobs in the future.

The owner, Jerry, is very professional and I truly believe he does a good job, unfortunately he doesn't do the work. The job took an extra day than what was quoted, which might be fine except the crew didn't show up at my house until 10am or later each day even though they said they would be there before 9am each day. When I pay someone to do a job, I expect them to do a better job than I would have done. I feel like they did a similar job to what I would have done. They didn't remove the outlets from the wall before painting and frequently painted without a drop cloth underneath them. Outlets had paint on them, trim had paint on it, paint stains on the carpet, outlets had screws missing on them or were put back on upside down. The job done was average, they had good lines against the ceiling, but with all of the negatives, I would say this is an average job at best.

I asked for quotes from several companies. Jerry and Fresh Coat were, by far, the most responsive and professional folks I encountered. Their pricing was quite good and their flexibility to meet our needs was simply incredible. We scheduled a date for the work out in advance (my request) but had to change due to delays from our contractor. Fresh Coat easily worked around our schedule and showed up exactly when they said that they would to work. Our painters were very skilled and friendly. These are the type of folks who you'd let in your home anytime. They were nice to our kids and dog and were incredibly tidy and quiet. Finally, when we did have a small issue over how one piece of work was completed (very small in the scheme of a huge repainting project like this), Jerry resolved it without blinking. Just a class act of a guy and company. Additionally, when we decided to have another few rooms painted at the last minute, Jerry got me on his schedule within a week. I will use Fresh Coat when the time comes to do exterior painting as well. I had a few quotes this fall and Fresh Coat offered a very competitive price and I already know that I can trust them to do timely and high quality work.

Jerry came personally and collected all the necessary information for the estimate. Estimate was professionally presented and included an itemized list of everything that would be done for this job, such as wall repairs, block water stain and prime-seal, where necessary, pole sand and 2 coats of specified paint. The estimate was followed up by a detailed 3-page contract. On the 2 days of the job, Jerry's painter showed up on time and was very pleasant to deal with. The paint job was done exactly as specified, with much attention to detail. The work site was cleaned up every day professionally. After the job was finished in 2 days, a final walk-through was conducted. One of the walls did not show the desired result. Without any hesitation, Jerry sent his painter back the following say to repaint the entire wall. I can highly recommend Jerry and his crew and would not hesitate to hire them again for the next paint job.

We couldn't be any happier with the job Jerry and Eric did. We bought our home 14 years ago with one regret...the color!! 14 years ago the technology wasn't available to correct the color of vinyl siding but Jerry re-assured me there is now and is extremely knowledgeable with the available products. His communiction throughout the entire process was unbelievable, he answered every question I had and addressed all concerns immediatley. Polite, professional and personable doesn't seem to truly describe how great Jerry and Eric both are. Their attention to detail went way above what I ever expected and did not consider the job to be complete until we were 100% satisfied. This was an awesome experience. My Emails were responded to and a quote provided very quickly. The work was completed in a timely manner and as scheduled. Everyone from the owner to those who did the work were very friendly and professional. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them highly.

I will definitely hire these guys again. Its been a long time since I've seen a contractor that hires experienced staff, with years of experience, and a work ethic I rarely see in this day and age. These guys are professionals all the way. The staff is always polite, they are punctual, they treat each other with respect, they work well together, they cleanup daily and their craftsmanship is superior. If you are looking for painters, then look no more. Hire these guys and you will not be disappointed. No I am not related to them and this is the first time I hired them. Wow am I glad I found them.

The guys at Fresh Coat went above and beyond our expectations. They were very professional, protecting all of our floors, furnitures, and cabinets. It was very clear that they have professional painters who take great pride in their work. They even patched holes and dings on their own without being asked. A wonderful interior experience. Jerry and his crew were excellent. They painted our home office, and they were very professional, polite, and listened carefully to what we wanted. They showed up when they said they would, and they were very careful to protect the floor of the room as they painted. The attention to detail was evident in that they did not get the main color (a deep blue) on the ceiling or on the fresh white trip.Our interactions with all of the painters were pleasant, and we very highly recommend them. We are already planning on using Jerry to paint another interior room. He is top-notch.
