Eko Movers was our best moving experience to date. We have moved many times in the last 15 years, and they were the best we have had. They showed up on time looking professional and spent the time to look over everything and discuss with us their plan to make sure it fit with our needs. They did not move too quickly so that we were overwhelmed and left with everything in the wrong places in our new home. They re-assembled all the beds, etc. cleaned up when they were done, and worked hard. We have an additional storage space that we need to move and will be using them in September. Thanks to randy, Matt, Zo and the whole Eko crew.

EKO movers were aces! This is the 2nd time we have used them. The 1st was when I moved into my new husband's house. The 2nd was when we moved into a home we found together. Great guys! They were careful with our furniture and our homes.

Eko Movers moved a piano, sofa, chair and 2 antique tables from my home to a storage unit. My call to schedule an appt. was returned within 30 minutes. The movers showed up on time on the scheduled date. They were very personable, professional and knowledgeable as to how to move furniture without causing any damage. Aaron and his crew were a pleasure to work with!! I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again!

Extremely diligent workers; never stopped working. Quality of work deteriorated a little after about 10 hours of work. Cost was very fair, was as expected.

I was very pleased by the help we got from EkoMovers. I was worried at first because they got lost on the way to our house and arrived a half-hour late. We were on a tight schedule and I'm sure I was a bit snippy with them at first, but they were never anything but pleasant, respectful and professional. They were also fast, very fast! Even with the late start, it took well under two hours for them to carry down our furniture and boxes and pack them securely in the truck, so we were soon back on schedule and finished even earlier than I'd planned. The truck was too big for our stuff (we got an involuntary upgrade from the size we wanted) so they carefully strapped everything in so it would not shift in the drive. Even though our drive was over winding mountain roads, nothing shifted at all during the drive. I am very happy!

I had requested appt for 4:30pm. The packers arrived early & said they were told to be here at 4:00pm. They were very curtious & professional but they seemed to need much guidance on what to do.

they got caught in traffic for the first appointment which was end of day, but the rescheduled job went fine. nice folks.

This was a great deal. Scheduling was easy. They showed up on time and did a great job.

Never even got to using their services because they still have not gotten my price estimate back to me.

I spent many years in the military and have moved several times over the last 25 years. Without a doubt, EkoMovers provided the best moving service I've encountered. They were on time (called before leaving to let me know they were on the way), they were professional, and after a quick walk-through got right to work. These guys were like moving robots. They were efficient and clearly knew what they were doing. They finished under the original estimated time. I'd highly recommend them to anyone else I know; I'm only sorry I didn't know about them before my last move. I will absolutely be calling them again when I move in a couple of years!

I was very impressed with every aspect of their work, i.e., their contact, price, arrival time, professionalism, understanding of what I wanted, careful moving of my items and their care for their own safety while doing so.

We used EkoMovers to help us move some of the heavy stuff. It was 2011 in the fall. I would think it was about $2 to $300. Eko was great, they were there on time, they had, I think they had four to five people to work for them. They took care of all the heavy furniture which would be the bedding, the front room furniture, all the heavy stuff. I had tool chests. I we had chairs, couches, shelves and stuff like that that we didn't want to handle ourselves. They handled all the heavy stuff and they did a good job. They did what they said they were going to do and the performed admirably.

They did an excellent job. They were very friendly and helpful. The cost was very reasonable.

Ekomovers were great to work with. They sent 2 very courteous and professional young men to do our job and both very very respectful and pleasant to work with. They treated our furniture, our home and our neighbor's home respectfully and moved everything efficiently and with no damage. Since we wanted to keep the costs down, we asked them to stay within a specific time limit (covered by the Big Deal) and told them to start with the heaviest furniture first, so if we ran out of time we could just do the rest ourselves. They managed to move everything within the agreed upon time limit, so there were no surprises or overages on the final bill. Overall it was a perfect experience. Granted, a large move is much more complicated and challenging so I can't speak to how they would do in that situation, but we got a great sampling of their customer service and based on that, would definitely use them again. We got a great price with the Big Deal, but their regular rates are similar to the other moving companies, so you will get a great value for your money with them.

Overall, the experience was exactly what I'd want out of a moving company. Let's face it, moving is a hassle. These guys did the job in a way that made it comfortable and easy at a great price. It's also a nice touch that they are finding a way to be a bit more "green" than a typical moving company. I'll use them on my next move and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for movers. They did a great job.

The initial calls were handled promptly, with great attention to detail. On the day of the move, two young men arrived at the designated time at house #1 to pick up upright piano and table. Drove to house #2 to pick up appliances, bedroom suit, and living room furniture. Drove to house #3 and moved items from truck into house, placing items where instructed. The movers were extremely professional. Everything was taken care of according to plan. The items were handled carefully and efficiently. The young men were articulate and well-groomed. In addition, we were allowed to use a coupon from Angie's list, as well as, a current promotion to bring down the cost. Customer service is obviously a top priority for Ekomovers!!

.These polite young men arrived on time and worked long and hard.They arrived at 9 AM and finished up around seven They were very professional and they had a great work ethic. I would, without reservation, recommend them to anyone. They handled our furniture with kid gloves and not one thing was even nicked. I was really pleased.

We tried EkoMovers, a company that specializes in "local moves and eco-friendly packing". We could not have been more pleased! We dealt mostly with Carter Johnson. Carter promptly and professionally answered all questions asked prior to the move. He and a co-worker (Henry) arrived in a timely manner, were unfailingly polite and willing and able to move all of the furniture sitting in the back of our rented truck. We did not need to use their truck or eco-friendly packing materials but I would not hesitate to use these options for a bigger move. They did everything we asked with a smile on their faces. Nothing was nicked or scratched and dealing with them was a pleasure. We highly recommend this company.

EkoMovers is a small company; as such, when you call, you get an answering machine and they call you back. It took me almost a week of playing phone tag with 2 of their staff before I was able to talk to Carter Johnson and make arrangements for my move. He did accommodate my request for a Saturday move, approximately 4 days after we talked. I warned Carter that the washer that I needed moved from my sister's home to mine was very heavy (a tall front-loader); he said 2 of their staff could handle it. Carter estimated the entire move would take 1 1/2 hours. The charge was $99 to "take out the truck" and $99/hour labor, so, my estimate was $250 for the job. Henry and Aidan arrived exactly on time that Saturday. They were very friendly and professional. After explaining what needed to be done, they first moved the dryer up the 10 stairs from the laundry room, out to their truck. They both used a strap-and-harness system to carry the appliance between them, using great body mechanics. There were no problems. They next took the very heavy washer, using the same harness system. Unfortunately, on the third step (or so) going up, the washer somehow slipped off the wide strap, fell down the stairs, hit a wall, and landed on its top. The wall had two 2-inch gouges from where the washer feet hit it. Luckily, no one was hurt. They were very apologetic and said nothing like that had happened before. Henry promised that the company would pay for any damage. They then used a hand truck to get the washer up the stairs. Lastly, they moved the refrigerator from the kitchen down the 10 stairs to the laundry room. They had to remove the laundry room door to get the frig in the room, but everything went well. We then drove the 5 miles to my house. They removed the old washer/dryer set from my first floor laundry room and took them out into the garage as I requested. They then moved the "new" dryer into my laundry room and then the washer. They hooked up both appliances. The whole move took almost 2 hours. When he did the paperwork, Henry deducted 10% for the wall damage and told me to call them if there was any problem with the washer. On trying to use the washer the next day, there was, indeed, a problem - a terrible banging when it went into the spin cycle. I immediately turned it off and called Carter Johnson. He called me right back and gave me the choice of them arranging for a repair person or using my own. I called the appliance repair company I've used in the past. They came out the next day; luckily there was nothing broken inside the washer. A large spring had come off the drum and 2 shock absorbers had become displaced from the fall. The technician reinstalled the parts; I paid $150 for the repair. I emailed the invoice to Carter, who immediately sent me a check for the entire amount of the repair. Accidents happen. I do think, however, that given the notice I gave them about the weight of the washer, they either should have had a third person available to help or used the hand truck (or some other device) to begin with. The accident was avoidable. I do, however, feel that Carter recovered well from the incident; they accepted responsibility immediately and paid remuneration.

Carter and another mover arrived on time. They checked out all of the furniture that needed to be moved from one floor to another - queen mattress/boxspring/frame, various rugs, etc. - and got right to work. They also moved all of the furniture out of the living room in order to reposition the area rug. Then they moved it all back again. They were very careful with all the items and they were very neat about stacking items in the basement. They accommodated my requests to vacuum in between their moves. They were pleasant, efficient & swift. The entire job was completed in about an hour. I have already given their contact information to friends & family in the area - I highly recommend them!

They called ahead, arrived promptly and were ready to go with zeal. These guys were smiling at every turn and working at a good clip. I had zero damaged items. It was an absolute breeze! I would highly recommend Eko Movers!

Ekomovers arrived at my apartment on time. They introduced themselves and walked through the apartment to put together a plan on the most efficient and fastest way to move my things. They were very professional and they really did a good job of moving my furniture. I would definitely use them again, especially since they did the work so quickly and they had good, reasonable prices! A huge thank you goes to Carter and Henry. Carter was good at providing me with an over-the-phone estimate that was really close to my final price and for explaining the process to me. Henry was good at taking very good care of my furniture and ensuring that everything was moved into my new apartment with minimal scratches, scrapes or dings.

Aside from some communication issues before moving day, they were terrific! My initial contact was right after Christmas, and it turned out their offices were closed, so it took a couple days for a response, which i understood. Henry scheduled the estimate at my convenience & was punctual and professional; unfortunately it took a few days longer than promised for me to receive his quote. I'm glad i followed up and then decided to hire them anyway. Their bid was the lowest, they were able to schedule my move within a week, and Henry, Carter, & Owen were friendly, hard-working, & courteous from start to finish on moving day. With careful planning, they were able to maneuver some big, heavy pieces through the tight corners and narrow stairwells of a very old house and managed to fit everything else into my storage unit with room to spare, which actually surprised me- i'd thought i might need to rent a larger unit. i will absolutely use them again and i've already recommended them to others.
