Terrific, the guys went over the top helping me!

Terrible. The just piled the furniture up without any order or care. Two pieces of furniture were damaged. Very unprofessional.

It went very well. The staff were very professional when making my appointment. There were very flexible with the time frame I wanted. My belongings had to be in Baltimore before 6pm on Saturday. They arrived on time and the move went smooth. The packers called before they came to the house Friday letting me know when they would be at my home. The were on time and a little early if i remember correctly. When they arrived they were well equipped and professional. They were in uniforms and very respectful. They did not try to drag the move out to charge me more. They came in and got the job done. Whatever they disassemble they reassembled it on the other end. they were very careful with moving my things and I liked them asking me what i wanted or if I had any special instructions. They gave me a price up front and stuck to it. The price was a really good deal for the level of service I received. I will use them again.

They were extremely responsive to all my questions and concerns. My Son is a student at Xavier University in Cincinnati so they moved all his boxes and belongings into storage. They showed up on time and did a great job.

The guys did a great job, arrive on time for pickup and loaded quickly and arrival ahead of time to drop off and unload. I was impressed with their service and professional nature.

The 3 young men arrived on time, were very professional and friendly. They greeted us and checked on the contents of the house that were to be loaded in the truck. They divided the work between two of them bringing the furniture and boxes to the truck and 1 doing the packing of the truck. We provided rope, packing blankets and the rubber bands to go around large chest of drawers. The work was very efficient. We had some large pieces of furniture that other movers had trouble with in the past. One of the men knew that the chest was actually in two pieces (we did not know this) and this made it extremely easy to move this from the 2nd floor to the truck (This piece is a 7 foot high solid cherry armoire - very heavy and hard to move as 1 piece). The original quote was for 3 hours and we ran 1 hour over this. I underestimated the amount of boxes (we filled a 26 foot truck). We were absolutely thrilled with the work! After this, I needed to move some remaining furniture and boxes to a storage unit, and again called EKoMovers. I have another move coming up and will only consider them for the work.

That was okay. They were on point. It was manageable.

Two polite and pleasant young men came to do the move for us on Thursday, March 20. They did not have any other moving equipment other than a moving blanket. One of the pieces of furniture was a large heavy sleeper sofa. We had had the sofa in the basement before we finished out the basement and stairwell to the basement.. We as the owners were not sure if the sofa would fit the now smaller stairwell, but asked their opinion regarding this since they were the "experts". They wanted to try to move it out of the basement. In order to get the sofa up the stairs, it had to be turned upside down. When the men turned the sleeper upside down, the sleeper opened and made a hole in the dry wall in the stairwell. One of them then took off his waist belt and secured the sleeper unit. The sofa would not go through the door opening after finally getting it up the stairs, so they had to bring it back down. We were OK with the sofa remaining in the basement, but obviously not OK with the dry wall damage. I called Aaron, one of the owners, and reported the incident while the men were still at the house. The two men made notation of the damage on the bill and took a photo with a phone and sent it to Aaron. After reporting this, we saw further damage done to an adjacent wall that I had not seen occur while the men were there, but it was fresh in that the paint was flaking off at a dent in a corner of the wall . We took photos of both places of damage and sent them by email with a request for repairs to Aaron. He did not call us or make arrangements to repair until I called him a couple of times. We finally scheduled for a repair the following Saturday, the 29th Aaron called that day and canceled. After more phone calls from me, we got another appointment for April 12th. Aaron came and spackled the two places on the dry wall--the dent repair was passable; the damage on the stairwell was not repaired properly. He said that it looked better but was not the best and offered to pay for us to have it repaired. We chose to make the repair ourselves with our own supplies and labor. Our suggestion to the company is to supply their movers with adequate moving equipment when they come to a job. Not sure if more training was needed that could have prevented the damage and helped the workers make a different decision about moving the sofa in the first place. We would have appreciated if the company would have been the one to call us to remediate the situation instead of trying to track them down ourselves. .

The two guys arrived on time and were cheerful and worked well. When we couldn't find the base for the TV, they offered to come back later when we found it and set it up for free (their office was nearby). The cost of service shown above was after using an Angie's List coupon and before counting tips. We will likely use them again soon for another small local move.

I purchased the deal on Angie's List on May 2 and was contacted several days later requesting what date I wanted moving services. I provided three possible dates and indicated once I had a definite date, I would contact them. On May 8 I sent an email using Angie List to tell them the date, the services I needed and type of truck I was renting. Aaron sent an email back the same day saying he would be in touch to confirm. I heard nothing for over 10 days. I sent an email on May 19 to request a confirmation and time of service. I received an email saying they were booked out for 7 weeks and could not accommodate my request. If I had not followed up, I would have been left standing when the truck arrives on June 2! Now I have less than two weeks to find another moving service. Ekomovers SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED to advertise any promotion on Angie's List. They do this for a "switch and bait" tacticto lure in potential clients and then pick and choose whom to service based on job. Ekomovers should never even accepted my purchase from the beginning if they had no intent to provide services. This is a young college start up business that needs to learn about integrity, professional, and customer service.

They are hiring students doing the job, 1 no protection for the floor and carpet so tains caused. 2 the damp all the paper document in the file cabinet into one big box. It took us hours to put them back bcs they mixed up . 3 my white cabinet not put back correctly. Screw hanibg outside from the bck. My office dest fell apart and my office furniture are damaged. Desk was falling apart bad the secretary desk was cracked bad. Has to get ride of them. They are friendly and they are doing their best. Meanwhile. We got Atlas moving from Utah, they handle things totally different, they did all possible method to protect my floor. My carpet, and so on, the wrap everything in thick rug so everything arrived intact, they are amazing! So with the comparison I know how to have the review done fairly.

Four guys arrived for the job and they completed the job in a little more than three hours. There were no major damages. When I booked the appointment, I explained that I wanted to book three hours with room for a fourth hour if needed. However, there was some sort of miscommunication and some of the crew had to leave right after the third hour was up. While some of the crew left, enough of them did stay to complete the job until it was finished. I would suggest for the business to leave some time at the end of the job in case it runs over so that no work is left incomplete. Other than that, everything went real well.

We had a couple of problems with them. They were supposed to bring one of their packing crates and they showed up without any packing crates. We had to hustle around and get boxes for them to pack. They had trouble doing some other things. They were efficient but they weren't prepared. We spent another $100 on top of the big deal purchase. My wife's stuff and my stuff was just kind of dumped off in a box. The price was good. They were here on time.

When I purchased the deal it went smoothly. The company contacted my quickly by email (which is always my preferred method), and our correspondence from then on was by email just to verify my information and what I would need from them. When I sent the email explaining that I would no longer need there service and why, I then received a nice phone call from the man whom I'd had all my communication with, Randy, he advised he had no problem with me cancelling and I just needed to contact Angie's List.

Your deal was advertised as $99 for $200 worth of moving services. The fine print stated that the standard moving rates were $99/hour for a 2-person crew. I had a small move, which I estimated would take 2 hours or less. I purchased the deal expecting that the coupon would cover the move. Only after I purchased the deal did the movers indicate that they had an initial flat-rate policy of $466 for 3 hours or less; this meant that my cost, even if the move took at hour, would cost me $365 ($466 minus $200 plus the cost of the coupon-$99). This makes no sense to me--even if I had paid the standard rate for 3 hours of work I would have paid $297--less than what the move would have cost me with the "special price"! I would only have saved money if my move took more than 3 hours. Please, Angie's List, furnish us with full disclosures when offering your Big Deals! This was a large waste of time for me. They came prepared to take it apart to move. When I stated that I didn't think that was possible, they didn't argue with me but simple found a way to move it intact. Both men were extremely polite. They got here early but may have gotten lost getting to the other residence as that took longer than it should have to get there but no problem. Their price was less than half of what a "big name" company wanted to charge me. A very nice surprise is that they are concerned about the environment which is an issue dear to me. They plant a tree for every job to offset their carbon foot print and do community projects. I will definitely remember them and recommend them to anyone I know who is moving.

They returned my call promptly , arrived on time, got to work, and did a great job. Would use again.

Pretty well. The agreed upon price was the final price. A few items got banged up (I am sure our things were in and out of several trucks during their journey) and a couple of items did not make it. They followed up at first, then we simply never heard from them again. These were not major items, so after a couple of email attempts we simply let it go.

They arrived right on time. They were the most professional nice people. They wrapped each piece of furniture. Not a scratch on anything. The only day I could move was on a Sunday and they accommodated me. If I have to move again I will definitely use them. They were great.

I never used Eko Movers because they were unable to provide the service I needed.

It went great. They were fantastic and were a huge help. I recently had foot surgery and could not help out. They took care of everything.

They were professional and on time. There was only a small scratch on one on a frame after moving. I would absolutely use this company again.

I spoke to Erin and he said that it was a 3 hour minimum that would cost me 400 plus a 65 trip fee and they would take 200 off of that with the coupon. I just needed help moving some larger objects 4 miles, so that is why I just needed the 99 service. I tried to change the appointment from Monday to either Thursday or Friday, but he would not move the appointment for me. The deal was a falsehood because that was not the actual price.

It went fine. We just could not get together when it came to schedule and time allotment.

Excellant job. I compared different companies with 2 weeks prior to my move. Saw reviews of Eko Movers and submitted online for an estimate. No contact back so I called to follow up. The answering service picked up and took my message. No follow up. So glad I called again. Randy called me back promptly and went over different options for my move. He thought of things the other moving companies did not even bring up. The 4 helpers (sorry, don't have their names in front of me) were very courteous and didn't dilly dally. They completed my move in just over 4 hours. Would highly recommend and if you can't reach them the first time, try again. They may be busy (which is good) but will do what they can to make it happen. Thanks. Bob
