I had a very good experience with Eko. Randy and the woman I spoke on the phone were personable, kind and informative. The movers Mike and Bryan were so patient, kind and courteous. They worked none stop and took great care in protecting my belongings before loading and care in loading and unloading. They did all that I ask and even moved a couple items from one area to another that was not coming or going. This was my first time using long distance movers...I could not have had a better experience...and out of four estimates...the best price. I would definitely use again and highly recommend. Excellent! Everybody were super nice, very professional. They took extreme care of our furniture. On time and quick! It was just a very good experience!

They weren't bad. They're pretty flexible. I called a couple of companies from this area and I was like, "Well, do you want to schedule an appointment to kind of walk through to kind of see what I have." They were like, "No." One company was like, "Just check boxes on this thing," and the other company was like, "we're just too busy, we'll just come out there and do it." They were kind of shady. You didn't know what you're getting into. But they were willing to do that. The people seemed pretty friendly. They didn't do a bad job. The price was in line with everyone else that I saw. They were more upfront about how much it was going to cost.

EkoMovers crew did a great job moving me out of an apartment to my new home. Fast and curtious. Would have them move me again.

Ekomovers crew arrived 15 minutes before their expected time and they were very professional and polite. That was just the beginning......The crew help us finished packing and the moving was very smooth all day long. Our hectic days of moving are over thanks to Ekomover!!! We were surprise as we did not expect that kind of excellent service from a moving company!! We will surely use them again and again.... Thanks for the help!!!!

Ekomovers is an absolutely top notch company. The guys showed up on time, were super professional, and worked faster than I've ever seen! They worked so quickly, it cut an hour off of our projected time! Everything was placed in the correctly marked rooms, and not a SINGLE ITEM was broken, missing, or misplaced. I was so impressed! This is the first time I've hired movers, so I was a bit hesitant, due to all the horror stories I've heard. But they put my mind at ease, answered all my questions, and went above and beyond what I had imagined. I will definitely be using their services in the future!

They were great. Showed up on time and had everything loaded onto the truck in a very timely manner. Made moving a breeze, the only way to move in my opinion. The movers were all very nice and friendly. I would definitely use them again, highly recommended.

It went smoothly and I actually couldn't believe how professional they were. I believe they treated our stuff as they would have their very own. I am a person who was very concerned and skeptical because I had never had anyone else handle our personal belongings. I had no need to worry at all, and would use them again in a heartbeat. Everything got where it needed to go with care.

EkoMovers moved my fiance and I this summer. It was hot but the guys really worked hard and got the job done in a timely manor!! We are very happy with the customer service and we loved the fact that they plant a tree for every move. We will be using them in again in the future if any moves come up!

The movers were very careful and respectful of our things, they loaded all our stuff onto a truck, organized it in there so nothing moved around, and drove over 700 miles to our new home! They were fast and very careful when they unloaded our things! Very hard workers!

The move went well and they were very responsive. It was hard to get a call back from some of the movers I had called and no one wanted to actually come see what we had. Not to mention no contract or written quote. I found Eko Movers. They answered the phone when I called and sent someone to our place to see what we had. They were very transparent. Which I liked. Two of the other companies I looked at were not this way. Both answered my initial call but when I asked about someone coming to the home to see what we had, one declined and just took my word for what we had to move and the other had me fill out some computer sheet. I had a very small window and I wanted a flawless move. I do not like surprises. Eko Movers were very flexible and when I requested someone to come out to our home to see what we had, they sent someone. They wanted to be prepared for the move and wanted to get it right the first time. They took pictures and quoted me a fee and stuck with it. When I had questions it was not hard to get someone on the phone. The movers were early and finished ahead of schedule. They had enough people to get the job done in a timely manner. I will use these guys again.

Alfonzo and Justin were great! Very professional and personable. Had us loaded in an hour and off to Toledo. They were on time and seemed to enjoy their work. This the 2nd time I used them within a month and both times were great. The first move was shorter, about a 20 drive to the new place. They did a great job for 3 flts of steps and a hot day. Randy was the POC and was very responsive to my requests. Highly recommend

The guys that came with the truck were exceptional. Very kind, professional, and curtious. I had the box's packed and set in each room ready for them and it was like I turned around and they had moved everyone of them into the truck!! I hadn't been able to do much heavy lifting because of a recent injury to my back and could not get my 2-part hutch broken down. The movers had no problem breaking it down and getting it out to the truck. They took extra care on all my breakable items like my glass top coffee table and wrapped it up in moving blankets and set it up to where I would not get broken. They took such great care with all of our possessions and there was not a single scratch or mark on any of our possessions. We didn't have to lift a finger and within no time at all the truck was packed up and ready to go. It was really nice being able to get to our new home without having to worry about moving boxes or lifting heavy items and potentially re-hurting myself even worse. When Eko movers got to our house not only did they unload our stuff in what seemed like a second but they had placed everything in the room that I had marked it. If it was marked kitchen it was in the kitchen, if it was marked living room it was in the living room. I mean these guys were great!!! I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a moving company!!! If I could give them 6 stars I would!! They are that good!!! They have moving down to a science and they care about, and respect there clients!! It is nice to know that there are still companies out there who believe in customer service and I count Eko Movers among the best!!!

We are a company based in California and we had shipped two heavy pieces of custom patio furniture to a client in the Ohio area. But the carrier we had hired got the product all the way to Ohio only to tell us they could not do the final delivery. We looked to Angie's List hoping to find a company to help us out. We called EkoMovers with our predicament. They were Awesome! Very helpful and so nice! Our client thought so as well. The product was delivered and set up. Thank You so Much to all at EkoMovers.

Second person was late. Took a very long time. Not so organized

We are somewhat experienced movers, and I am extremely organized and plan ahead with my packing, research, and all the details that are involved in the grueling process of a move. We have a rather large household of furniture, well over 9,000 pounds if you are considering an intra state move. Researching to find LEGITIMATE, professional, dependable, honest, and fairly priced movers is a serious process. I joined Angie's List JUST for this move, and narrowed down my choices based on ratings by the Better Business Bureau, Angie's List, and the ability to verify each mover by their U.S. DOT # and check them at www.protectyourmove.gov - the owner, Randy Smith, responded quickly back and forth by e-mail and was even local so he agreed to meet with my husband & I at a neutral location for an "interview" and Q&A session. So professional, came prepared with proper paperwork and reference material, and gave me the answers I wanted to hear to these questions: - Do you give a binding quote?- Do you own your own trucks?- Do the movers work for you or are they contracted?- What services does the move incude (i.e. taking apart & putting back together beds, proper wrapping of furniture, etc.) Another positive, we scheduled one of his employees to come over and do a physical walk-through inventory check, not just me filling out a check list. They did NOT price by the pound. I already knew for frame of reference our poundage was between 9,000 - 10,000 lbs so I could rightly compare other quotes. He wasn't the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive. BUT for the price, was the only one that passed all my check list requirements 100%. In addition, even though I had already done about half of the packing at that point, he threw in for about $800 packers including the provision of boxes, packing material, tape, etc. If you do the math, packing is so very expensive. I couldn't believe he really meant this, but the week before the move, a total of 3 different packers came two separate days the week before the move to pack what I had not gotten to (I left detailed instructions and post it notes everywhere) - this wasn't the packing of an entire household, but it was all the things I really didn't want to mess with so I'm talking about a TON of huge artwork/wall pics, lamps, remaining dishes and larger items I didn't know what to do with and they were SO very careful, NOTHING broken, respectful, and worth every single penny! There were 5 movers the actual day of the move out of our house in Cincinnati - let me add, our binding quote included the move to Pennsylvania and because they didn't pack our entire house, and because Randy Smith is just a wonderful person, we decided to ask about having our BMW SUV transported as well. HE THREW THAT IN!!!! Two days later was our arrival and move day into the house in Pennsylvania. On time, items safe, nothing missing, almost every box put in the right labeled room on the boxes. I'm telling you, with everything that can and will go wrong with moves, this company was a dream come true (and yes, I actually prayed alot for the wisdom to choose the right people!). They do local moves, longer distant moves, and will customize to your needs. I will sing their praises to everyone I know who has moving needs!

Due to scheduling conflicts I faced a Logistical nightmare. I was faced with needing to obtain movers that could move me the same day. I did research and discovered EkoMovers. Read prior client reviews and felt comfortable not having utilized EkoMovers before that they were the company for the job. I called them and explained the need for the same day move and received a "Yes, Can Do Attitude," response. There was a bit of a delayed arrival but the cause was understandable and was highly appreciative that such a reputable company was able to move me same day. They were quite efficient with loading process and unloading too. The neat thing about EkoMovers are their movers are college students, earning extra money to assist their financial needs in college. I even became a bit stressed because I couldn't find my laptop and reached out to them and came in contact with, "Dispatcher Randy," he walked me through their prior experiences of when an item could not be located and sure enough, silly me, I overlooked my laptop under some hangers. Rest assure EkoMovers hire professional employees but as Randy said, "He works too hard to be giving away his hard earned money!" Will hire them in a long-time (do not like moving, like most of us again), again to do my move, 5*****! Thank You EkoMovers!

They were very professional, on time (early even!) , and knowledgable. We were very impressed with how well they packed the POD!

There were many things that were damaged. When they moved a piece of furniture upstairs they dented a wall. They broke an antique china hutch, and it doesn't look repairable. When they were moving things out through my patio door, I told them to be careful about my dog getting out, and they lost my dog. I did end up finding her, but I was very upset while trying to find her.

The correspondence was easy and clear. They were able to come pick up and deliver on the dates requested. The crew did a great job loading and unloading.

It was pouring rain the day that we moved. They were right on time. They worked through the rain even though it was potentially dangerous for them. They were fast but there were no incidents or gashes in any of the walls. They were fantastic. We were really happy with them. They were very responsive. We used them twice in one year.

They helped us clean up the garage, and donate the stuff we will not use any more, and trash some bulky stuff. so that we can park three cars all in the garage before snow hit the area, they did a great job, and all my cars in the garage now!
