I found EkoMovers through a deal on Groupon. I called and left a message to set up a time to schedule an estimate for my move, but didn't get a response back. I called again and spoke with Carter who explained that the company was upgrading their phone system and he hadn't had time to get back to me, for which he apologized profusely. Carter was very prompt on the morning of our scheduled appointment for the estimate. He explained what some of my options were and that for a small fee I could rent moving bins from the company to pack some of my stuff or they could pack it for me on the day of my move. He also indicated that since my move was a smaller one, the Groupon should cover the price of the move in full. He took my e-mail address and other contact info and promised to have a bid back to me in a day or so. After not hearing from EkoMovers about my moving quote for well past the day or so promised, I e-mailed Carter. He got back to me the same day and sent me the quote he originally claimed to have sent a few days prior. I confirmed, via e-mail, that EkoMovers had the contract to move me and we set up a time for the move. The company was able to fit me in on a very busy Saturday and the two young men who moved me were prompt, personable and very quick. The move went very smoothly! I would highly recommend this company, despite the mixup in communications.

They were very professional and punctual. On move day it was raining, but that didn't slow them down. They were very careful and quick with moving and carrying everything. We had a set of bookcases that we didn't want. They offered to help us take them to a donation center (small fee but worth it). We have experience with several other moving companies in the past couple of years and Ekomovers would definitely be recommended.

It was awesome! I used a different moving company once before and was dreading the moving process . However, Eko Movers made me rethink my perception of moving companies as a whole! From the first phone call I made to their office, to the move, to the follow up process, I could not have asked for anything else. They were affordable, ON TIME, careful, FAST, and willing to do what ever needed to be done to make my roommate and I have a pleasant experience on move day. I was referred to EkoMovers from a friend of mine who had used them after receiving quotes from several companies. I called them and easily set up my estimate. They had no problem catering to my schedule. The manager who came to my house for my free in-home estimate was very professional and cordial. He explained all the details of their company -- they are fully licensed and insured, they are completely committed to being environmentally friendly, all of their employees are professionally trained and insured, ect. After he answered all of my questions, he said he would get my estimate to me within two days. It arrived by email the very next day. Their prices were extremely reasonable. Once I decided to go with EkoMovers I easily set up my move date and did not even have to provide a deposit. I also took advantage of their environmentally friendly packing supplies. They provided me with an estimate of how many boxes I may need and other packing materials and then they delivered them to my door! (I didn't even have to pick them up!). The best part was, if I did not use all of the materials, then I was not charged for them. They showed up right on time on the day of my move. All of their employees were clean-cut and well dressed, not what normally expect movers to look like. I was so comfortable with them, that when I had to leave to meet the cable man at my new house, I left them with a key to my apartment and trusted them to continue to do a great job. (And they did! They even gave me a time break down of when I was gone to show that they did not take advantage of me.) They were very polite and easy to talk to throughout the day. They were willing to help me with whatever I asked, they even rearranged my furniture when I continued to change my mind as to where I wanted to put it. They took extreme care with all of my belongings, and made sure not to damage any of my walls or floors. They moved quickly and efficiently and were even under their initial estimate. After my move was finished, a manager followed up with an email to make sure everything was up to my satisfaction, and they even offered assistance from their Professional Organizer that they have on staff, to help me with unpacking and organizing in my new home (she was also available to help me pack if I had requested). After the follow-up, I called them when I was finished with the EkoBoxes and then we set up a time for EkoMovers to come pick them up! This really was the most efficient and easiest move I have ever had. Moving is usually such a stressful process, but EkoMovers did a fantastic job at alleviating my stress and making it as enjoyable a process as moving can be! I recommend them to anyone who is moving within Cincinnati!
