I contacted V V E Computer Consulting on a Saturday afternoon to remove a virus from my laptop computer that I could not get rid of on my own. Earl came to my home to pick up my laptop within an hour of my initial phone call. He fixed the problem and returned the laptop to me the very next day. He explained how the virus had altered the settings on my laptop and the steps he took to remove it. He was knowledgeable, professional, and provided great customer service!

I called V V E Computer Consulting. Earl was able to come the same day. He immediately noticed that the cable and power lights were not lit up on the modem. He called Time Warner and they found that I had been dropped from their end. They did a reset and I was up and running again.

I called VVE based on great ratings in Angie's List and was not disappointed. Earl (owner) arrived on time and completed everything I requested in a courteous and professional manner. He patiently showed me what he was doing and how I could do it myself if I were to add new devices to my home network. Everything is finally functioning exactly as it should.

My computer would not turn on. I checked Angies LIst and found Earl had excellent reviews. I now see why. On my way home I call Earl from my car around 5:45pm. I knew his hours were listed as closing at 6:00pm and wanted to catch him to set up another time to call. He answered the phone right away. I gave him the symptoms and he told me it sounded like it might be a hardware issue. He told me to call him back in about an hour and not to worry that it would be past 6:00pm. He said he would walk me over the phone as to what to do and if it didn't work he would not be able to help me. I called him at 7:00pm as instructed. He had me do a couple of things including taking out the battery and putting it back in. The steps, although quite simple. worked like a charm. I asked him what I owed him and he said nothing. I'm sure I would had a hefty bill if I had taken my computer to a store to be worked on. I will definately go back to Earl again if I have any other computer problems.

He is more than fair and doesn’t try to upsell you. I have given him a report in the past and does a great job. Not only does he know his job; he can fix things online. He wants you to work through the problem before he has to charge.I spoke with him for an hour trying to work through my issue. I eventually had him fix the issue, but had no problem paying him. He is the best computer guy that I have ever dealt with within the last 20 years as far as experience

Connecting the wireless printer proved more of a challenge than we wanted but Earl persevered and now we have a fast working computer and a printer that works with both the computer and my iPad. Life is beautiful! I will use Earl again and very much appreciate his knowledge and patience.

We are a medical office in the Cleveland area. When we came into our office on Friday, May 31, we were unable to see any of our patient data or connect to our system. We made several attempts to get it up and running, to no avail. We even contacted the original vendor, however, since we were not on contract they were not much help. You can imagine we were in total chaos. Immediately after contacting Eric at VVE Computer Consulting he began working with us over the phone to try and see what had occurred. It could not be resolved over the phone so he came out the next day. Unfortunately we were not able to retrieve the data but he was able to reconfigure the program and get us back up and working. He determine that the data was lost, and would be too costly to try and retrieve, with no guarantees. Since "he" felt like he did not help us, his fee was minimal. However, we are so grateful for what he did do we will call him again should anything else occur.

The technician was unable to solve my problem but he was very helpful in making recommendations. He spent a lot of time working with my machine and installed some software that I could use in the future. Overall he improved the performance of my machine.

I was very pleased with the entire interaction. It was very convenient to have him come to my home to fix the problem.

The problem: I'm PC illiterate. Daughter, while in high school loaded all kinds of programs/music/myface etc stuff on the computer. Left for college, 3 yrs ago, and I finally got fed up with slow response time from my computer. Earl came out, removed all the junk I didn't need, moved stuff out of the start up & then explained to me about Internet Explorer 8 running on my machine. Explorer 7 & 9 are OK, but version 8 has problems & is slow. He recommended Google Crome or Fire Fox as my connection to the Internet. He set Fire Fox up, copied over setting from Explorer & gave me me an overview of how to use Fire Fox. Then we shut down & came back up - what a difference. I can't tell you how much time I've wasted over 3 yrs waiting to log on, get connected to the internet & the problems I've had with Internet Explorer 8. The $65 was well spent & I am extremely happy with the results. Thank you Earl for helping an illiterate PC user & not making him feel that way. ps. as a side note. Earl said, based on what I told him, the on-line service probably wouldn't have helped much since the things he removed or moved were all legitimate programs.

About 6 months ago, my computer was running slowly, breaking down periodically, etc. I called Earl to come out to look at the machine. He tried to fix it and stated that it would be best to get a new computer. He made recommendations as to specifications. When it was time for him to go he did not charge me anything for the visit since he was not able to fix it. He only hoped that I would call him when I got the new one, which I did. Earl was very professional and knows a great deal about computers and is interested in sharing it with you. He uses layman's terms which are understandable to the average person. He installed the new computer (Dell) and new software and an antivirus program. He worked hard during the 3 + hour visit, even turning down a beverage. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a job done well. Thanks Earl!

Earl again came through with speedy, excellent service. He has worked on computers for me and for my parents, and we are all extremely satisfied with all aspects of his work. I can't thank him enough for being responsive and helpful! I recommend him highly!

Earle came on time and solved the problem on the computer immediately. He also gave the computer a tune up and it works faster and better than ever. I trust him and will use him again when another computer problem raises it's ugly head.

The experience was very positive. Don't be afraid to ask Earl questions about complicated problems.

He called me back directly after I reached out to them. He went over some troubleshooting over the phone to assist me before coming out, which I thought was amazing. When he realized he couldn't assist over the phone, we scheduled an appointment. He arrived on time and we found that I needed a part and he advised where to get it for the best price, after which, he came back to install. He was amazing. There was not any problems and he gave me his email to follow up with any issues. I called him back, as I did have a problem and he assisted me over the phone at no charge.

Great! Wow, I couldn't be happier that I found Earl on Angie's List! I am the ruiner of computers and all devises attached to them. When I managed to disable my new nanny-cam one day after one of my children installed it I was in dispair, I just couldn't bring myself to call them and tell them I broke it. I called Earl on a Sunday morning and he came that afternoon to save me from humiliation. Fast fix including an explaination of what happened and how to prevent it in the future. Ha! No amount of time explaining how to capture and train the clouds of internet floating through my home will actually help me but I'm glad that I have found a reasonably price guy who will come and fix what I ruin without laughing at me.

Earl came to my home on a Saturday and he did an excellent job! He was punctual, pleasant and very informative. I am a total computer novice so he had to explain everything he was doing in terms of setting up a new computer, printer, monitor and a modem. After the installation of all of the new equipment, he patiently walked me through the operation of everything and reset my home page so I could easily navigate Windows 8. I could not have asked for better service or a more helpful person. He is excellent at his job and I would highly recommend his services!

He was wonderful. He walked me through the repair on the telephone. He was more interested in the repair then the payment. He called and checked up. Jerry just wonderful and very patient with me.

He did a very good job. He called before hand to make sure we had power since this was during our major wind/rain storm and arrived promptly. He was able to figure out in a short time that it was a problem with our router and he had one to replace it which worked. He made sure all computers in the house could access the wi fi. I would recommend him to others and will certainly call in the future more quickly when we have computer issues.

I signed up for the service because I wanted a tech to see if my computer was operating with the best efficiency. They came to my home and went through a complete check of my computer. I asked them to help me solve a problem I had with my computer somehow blocking Windows updates. They tried many avenues and did spend a great deal of time to try and resolve the problem, but nothing worked. This effort was over and above what I paid for so even though the problem was not solved, I can't fault their service.

He was very knowledgeable, and was patient with me. I have only a limited understanding of modem and routers and he helped me improve my service.

The personal experience was okay at best. The gentleman was friendly enough. He works out of an attorney's storefront in South Euclid. That office was rather sloppy. As far as I can tell I threw away $65.

Earl was able to fit his work into my friend's busy schedule, coming and going as needed. He arrived promptly, explained what he was doing, and took care of the problems one by one. He also made suggestions on how to avoid future problems.
