Description of Work: I've had them do work on my roof twice. In 2014 they took up the slate on my roof, placed a moisture barrier and replaced the slates. In 2015, they replaced the flat roof on my dormer. | |These guys are good, responsive (mostly) and they don't quote you work that doesn't really need to be done. They also cleaned my gutters. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Description of Work: Replaced copper valleys, loose slates, and installed ice dams. Showed up when they said they would, did the job professionally by an old world craftsman, finished on time and cleaned up after themselves. Extremely pleased.

Description of Work: Rustic replaced some missing/loose slate tiles and sealed some edges. We had our own slates from a tear down that the employee brought down from the attic. They did a nice job and I will be contacting them for work on the chimney come spring.

Description of Work: Performed all work professionally and correctly. Even did some extra work. Thoroughly cleaned the workspace when finished. Replaced gutters. Replaced many slate tiles as well as the chimney caps. In several areas the roof was through the wood which they replaced, including several timbers. Also used copper where needed. I would never call anyone else.

Description of Work: A tree had fallen on my roof damaging slates as a result of ice storm. Rustic Slate Roof were there the next moring in freezing cold and began to repair my roof. These guys are top notch.

Description of Work: When a second gutter installed by an Angie's List workman fell down, I called a new company , Rustic Slate Roofing. They came the next day. Even thought there was a ton of snow on the ground. they installed a new gutter and reinforced the other 3 gutters on a hip roof. The work was so professional. When the gutter fell, it some slate singles with it. Rustic Slate Roofing replaced them at no cast to me.

+ 1 moreRustic Slate Company was a referral. I called them and spoke to Stefan (a very charming man!) Stefan came out the very next day and gave me a written estimate and gave me a copy of his company's liability insurance and reference list which I thought was very professional. The work was scheduled and completed it in its entirety in three (3) days. The crew was very professional and so was their work! I am very pleased with them and would offer a great recommendation for anyone needing a professional roofer.
Description of Work: I had a problem with my chimney ~ the top ten (10) layers were coming loose, the mortar was cracked and the concrete crown was damaged. Rustic Slate Company tore down the loose layers and rebuilt the chimney. They installed a new concrete crown.

+ -1 moreThis company has a wonderful work ethic. The work they did is beautiful. Stefan who cuts and installs the copper is a master craftsman at what he does. He really gets it right. As if that isn't enough, the price is very reasonable. They cleaned up beautifully. When they left. it was cleaner than when they came. If you have a slate roof, you owe it to your self to call Rustic Slate Roofing for a free estimate. You're in for a treat.
Description of Work: This company removed the slates from 4 hips, 1 valley , 1 ridge and 2 soil stacks. Ice and water shield was installed on all of the above. Then new 16 oz copper flashing was installed on all 4 hips, 1 ridge, the valley was all rebuilt in new 16 oz copper, and the old pipe flashings were replaced with new 16 oz copper pipe flashing.Then all the slates that had been removed were reinstalled on all of the above.
