Lead employee was training a new employee and he had to provide some supervision which required some items to be done over to improve quality.

The installers were professional and on time. Dominic the head installer was very nice and helped me take down my blinds and curtains. They cleaned my prpoerty and finished in 5 hours. Great service!!!

We had received one other estimate which Empire Window beat! This was our first time using their service and it turned out great. Scheduling worked perfectly; we had to have an energy audit first. They waited till after the audit was done so they could see we needed the windows and then they installed them. The team was very professional. They arrived at 9:15 a.m. and completed the installation by 3:00 p.m. The caulking they did was so smooth and they had excellent clean up. I plan on using them again in the future!

I called them and talked with someone in shipping and explained about the cracked window. When they came out they delivered the wrong part of the window. They will be coming back to fix the window this Saturday, as long as they deliver the right part of the window I will be pleased with the service.

The service went very well. I was pleased and impressed with the work they did. One of my windows had to be replaced, they were quick to come out and take care of the replacement. They were neat and clean in my home. I would definitely recommend their service to others!

The sales guy was great. He beat my other 2 quotes with his presentation. He wasn't the cheapest bid, but I believe I got the best product for the money I spent. The installers were fantastic. I have indoor cats. They were great about making sure the doors were shut so they couldn't escape. I WILL go with empire next time I need windows.

Everyone I had contact with at Empire was professional, personable, and easy to work with. The windows were installed with no problems. However, one of the windows had an obvious defect in the glass that I spotted that evening after the windows were installed. Empire was very accommodating in terms of scheduling a replacement glass, but the defect was so obvious that I can't imagine how this window made it out of the factory and into my house. If not for this, I would be giving this company an A instead of a B grade.

It went great - we were very comfortable with the sales rep, who took extra time to explain how their windows work and what our options were. When it came time to do the installation, the crew arrived on time and were extremely efficient in their work (got right to work). They cleaned up as they went and left no trace of debris when finished.

Everyone from the sales rep to the window replacement team were very nice and professional. on time, cleaned up as they went along. We are happy with the price and the product. The only complaint we have is that there a couple things that need fixed in regards to one part of one of the windows is cracked so we will need a replacement and the caulking to the flash molding on the outside of house needs redone in areas as it is separated from the window as it settled. We were not upset by that as these things happen. What we are disappointed in is that we have left several messages at the service department over past weeks since having the work done, in regards to what needs fixed. The person who handles this is never there at the time and we are told "He hasn't called you back yet?", " I thought he called you already," " I have a note to him right here to call you back", " We are short handed and he has been having to do another job on top of this one". We do not expect someone out that second to fix but it is professionalism that would have them at least call us back. So as far as responsiveness and professionalism when it comes to getting service for any issues they are lacking. At least at this point in time.

They were very inexpensive. It blended with the main windows that was not ruined in the house. They had their product went with the windows in the house that were still good. They did a nice sales presentation with the energy efficient glass. They were prompt and courteous. They delivered what they said they were going to deliver. I had used them in Columbus in a different house.

The quote was pretty high. They were very informative. He had a pretty heavy accent so I had trouble understanding what he was saying. They were way higher than anyone else but they were excellent.

About two years ago Empire replaced all of the windows and a sliding door in our home. We were very pleased with the quality of the windows used and with the skill of the installers. While cleaning our windows this spring I damaged one of the sash retainers so the the widow sash would no loger stay open. I called Empire who took my information. The next day a technician called me to set up an appointment. He arrived prompltly at 9:00 AM, diagnosed the problem, replaced the damaged part than noted that the screen door on our slider was not moving very freely. He made the necessary adjustments and was on his way in less than 25 minutes. I continue to be very impressed by this company and would happily recommend them to anyone.

The work turned out really nice, and we are happy with the service.

iThe installation the first time took a long time but the second one was much more rapid. I think it is good to get a review of someone who has had the product for awhile and I am happy with the windows. They have cut down on drafts in the house and are easy to clean. The first time we ordered windows we had no pressure to purchase and I liked that the second time there was some bull about the deal ending the next day. As it turned out the deal was extended. Always take your time to decide on a purchase. Still I am happy with the product.

I called Empire today to schedule a quote for replacement windows in our bedrooms, I was informed that both my husband and I needed to be at the appointment, or no appointment could be set. I do all the house rennovations and int eh past few years have spent over $100, 000 renovating our home. In that time my husband has never met with a contractor, or paid a bill. I informed the scheduler of that, I was told it was "Company Policy" and it could not be changed. Their loss as we have many windows and doors to still renovate.

I was very impressed with the professionalism, punctuality, and communication of everyone we dealt with at Empire. We are also very happy with the windows and quality of the work! When they stopped over to give the estimate, they did a nice job explaining the different options. We initially weren't sure whether we were going to replace some or all of our windows. I liked the fact that they didn't push us one way or the other; they let us call the shots. The slight drawback here was that I felt they were overly curious about who else we were considering for the work. After we rewarded them the job, everything went as planned both from a time and cost perspective. They said we would get a call for measurements by a certain date and that came through as planned. After measuring, they called to set-up a mutually agreeable install date and that came through as well. On the install day, they showed up promptly (even a little early) and finished both floors of our house in 1-day (they said it might take up to 1.5 days). The three man install team worked hard, were professional, friendly, and did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. Overall everything went very smoothly with no surprises, They held true on their time lines and price as communicated. Simple things like that mean a lot.

He was a very fast talker and didn't seem to care if he sold us or not. Once he added up all the "extras" it was double the advertized price. He said most of his business is right now, and demonstrated their most popular window. The $188 price from install was a wood common window, and I should have known that as a consumer, he said. He offered us $100 off the inflated price, but I said that doesn't help me at all! I challenged his comment and said that a regular consumer wouldn't know the different kinds of windows. We are searching for new options now.

My mother passed away so we had to sell her home located in Wickliffe and the windows were about 56 years old (the original windows) so we decided to replace them. We got estimates and Empire Windows was almost half the price of the other estimates. They arrived promptly and finished the job in one day. They did have to come back to replace a window sill that was left off, but we called and they came out to fix it quickly. The windows look wonderful.

We met with the sales representative from Empire Window. He was our last estimate. He did a quick run through of our house, measured just a few windows, did his calculations on a calculator and wrote an estimate on the back of his business card. All of our other sales representatives measured each window, recorded detailed information, showed what each window would cost, and included names of the glass manufacturers, insulation brands, etc. We did not get this information from this representative. Additionally we were asked if the business card information was "OK". Why would it be? We didn't say anything because we wanted this person to conduct his sales call they way he usually did so we would know what kind of company we were working with. The lack of detail caused us concern as we now did not know if we were going to get a quality product, or if things were going to be switched out on us. When asked what other companies we were working with, we were hesitant to say as we don't want to hear a biased/ rude opinion on other companies. He pushed, so we told. He started in with bad words about the companies and then realized we didn't want to hear it, so he stopped and asked if we wanted to hear more. We said no. This was not our best experience getting window estimates.

The salesman was friendly and reasonable and didn't try to hardsell us, waste our time, or sell us products that were more than we needed. The installers (Jimmy, Shawn, and Chris) were very professional and competent. They came when they said they would, worked solid for two days, and cleaned up after themselves. We replaced just the window part of our windows, not the wooden frame around them although the price to replace everything wasn't that much more.

They have measured and will be doing the windows next Thursday. They are custom windows and it takes 4-6 weeks for them to make the windows. The salesman was very courteous. They came to measure at a time that was convenient for me. He was courteous and quick. They let me know that it would take 3-4 weeks. I don't any have complaints right now. They came when they said they would come. So far I am satisfied. I was surprised that they came that early because they said it was a 3-4 week turnover.

They were very reasonable compared to other companies I've worked with. They were dependable and did a good job. They cleaned up very well and you never would have known that they were here.

It was a referral from a friend. It’s a huge window and I spent $1000. They were great. They were not like the old salesmen kind of people. They came out quoted and got it done. They did not pressurize or push stuffs on me. The actual installers were excellent and they got it done very nicely. They cleaned up well. I would use them again in the future if need be.

Interviewed several companies and Empire Windows was the best quote. The salesman was good and the installers (3 of them) were terrific. The day of install, they arrived about 8:10 AM and were finished approximately 3:00 PM. They laid tarps everywhere they were going to walk and at each window site. Other than a little dust, you could not tell they were here. All the mess was taken with them. We would defintely use them again.

The salesman was laid back and made us feel comfortable. He was thorough and very professional. Not high pressure at all. A few days later the contractor came out and measured the windows. We had them installed, I think four weeks later. A team of four guys came out and installed them. They were very respectful, efficient, and even playful with my 3 yr.old son, One of the windows was cracked when they installed it. The installers brought it to our attention and called it in right away. He said it would be just a week or so and someone would come out & pop it right in. After a week I called and was told I was scheduled for almost a month later for the installation. I said I was told it would only be a week and they had me call the installer. We made arrangements to have them come out sooner. During that time I noticed what I thought was a blade of grass on one of the windows until I determined it was between the layers of glass. When the man came out to replace the cracked window, I showed it to him. He said it was a flaw and immediately called it in. In addition, after putting in the new window, he noticed something he was not satisfied with and said he wanted to get a new window. He didn't like the quality of that particular window. WOW! A company initiating another replacement?! By the actions of the company, they demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction. Within a week or two he came out and replaced both windows. I had mentioned to the installer that I did not want to pay the balance until everything was installed and I was pleased with the work. They were very understanding and agreeable, which surprised me based on other companies I have worked with. Overall, I was very pleased with the people, the windows, and the service.
