Weed Pro

I am currently using them. So far, they do a good job on my lawn. My lawn looks a lot better, and their price is reasonable. They do a pretty good job. I have been using them for one year.

The technician was professional and answered some questions I had regarding the bugs I have seen while working in the yard.

I hired weed pro after dealing with Scotts for 3 years. Scotts was a complete waste of time and money all you got from them were phone calls pushing services. I have yet to get these phone calls from weed pro thank heavens. Weed pro shows up and does the job they are paid to do. I have no complaints. They do a very good job of taking care of the weeds, I do not have to call them back out to re do the lawn like I did Scotts.

My experience wit their service is excellent. My lawn looks great. They're doing a good job in keeping my lawn great.

We've lived in our house for about 1.5 years and, based on our neighbors' comments, we believe the previous owners only cut the grass and didn't do any other maintenance to the lawn. There was moss, dandelions, clover, and who knows what other weeds taking over the lawn. This spring, I noticed grubs in the backyard around my kids' playset. I also have 3 dogs and need to keep fleas and ticks at bay. We tried applying a popular top-of-the-line fertilizer and weed control on our own a few times last spring/summer/fall with unsatisfactory results. When the dandelions came up again this year, we vowed to put them down for good! I contacted a few companies and not only is Weed Pro located just down the street in my own town, but they came highest rated of those I viewed on Angie's List and were the best value for my 0.6 acre property (minus approx 2500 sf for the house and flower beds). I submitted a contact form online and almost immediately received a call and email from a salesperson. He explained all the services they have to offer and the benefits of each. He was not overly pushy when I declined these services (which included fertilization/weed control for flower beds, application of insecticide along exterior of the house, and overseeding the lawn after aeration). The technician arrived on the day I was promised. He applied both the insecticide and weed control/fertilizer all at once with a riding mower-looking machine. He left a detailed invoice with an analysis of my lawn and tips that we've found very valuable in improving our lawn. I am not kidding when I say the weeds were gone within 2-3 hours after application and they HAVE NOT RETURNED!!!! We've received 2 applications and my lawn already looks greener and the weeds are browner (dead)! My husband can finally mow only once a week instead of the twice a week he was doing before to cut down the dandelions. Every morning, I now pause to gaze at my pretty lawn before coming down the stairs. I'm 100% pleased with Weed Pro.

This is our second year with Weed Pro. The cost I posted above will be different for everyone because it is based on the square footage that they are working with (I believe they use an aerial view to give an initial quote for service). The price I posted is only for the aeration and is part of a yearly package deal (I didn't have the complete total that we pay at hand, but it will be different for everyone anyway). We have a package in which Weed Pro provides weed control and lawn treatments several times from spring to fall. Our lawn continues to look better each time they come out. The company is very professional - they call before they come out to let us know when they will be there, write up the services that they complete at each visit (on a portable computer and printer), as well as let us know of any issues they see going on with our lawn, as well as leave small flags in the lawn once they are done. They have given my husband advice about our lawn (it was never put in right or maintained when the house was originally built) and my husband at one point wanted to "Round-Up" and tear the entire lawn out and put in an entirely new lawn. Since Weed Pro has been coming, the lawn is much nicer and hopefully with the aeration and treatments, it will be a lush, green lawn. It is well on its way. The price is comparable with other companies based on our lot size, so we are satisfied with the service we are receiving from Weed Pro.

Spread material on to our lawn which adjoins our neighbors lawn, our driveway, and across the width of our driveway onto part of our main lawn and walk. We do not use lawn chemicals and thus we were quite unhappy. This makes for bad neighborly relations. When we called to complain, we got no apology, although we were assured that it won't happen again.

This is a follow-up message from the one I wrote earlier this week. After the post, the Owner of the company called me immediately the next day, he was very professional. He apologized on behalf on his staff for not response to my requests. He arrange the spring aeration the next day. I would continue to use this company.

I paid for the entire year of service plus preventive grub and spring aeration service. So far they only came once to perform the lawn care service on 4/15. i contacted them several times to get the spring aeration done since spring is almost over. First couple times, Susan Montgomery responded, and said the scheduling manager does not have a specific date yet, that was on may 7. Today is may 15, and since then I have contacted them few more times with no response. I paid for the entire year of service, so I might not get my services or money back, I am very concern now. Buyer beware

I called because I had my lawn reseeded and needed a certified lawn treatment program as a part of the warranty. I called Weed Pro and had a great experience. Polite, professional, punctual and all at a reasonable price. Pretty happy thus far...will see how the lawn looks in a few months!

The lawn never looked good. Mid-summer I called and complained on how it looked and they sent an inspector to check it out. They wanted to to perform additional services for an additional charge. I might have been understanding if they had initiated the contact, but they only commented after I called to complain. This spring my lawn is full of plate sized bare patches and many of the other areas are only covered with tufty weeds. It is horrible. I expect that I will have to completely replace large areas of the lawn. This is not dried out grass - there was plenty of water. Weeds and other invasive plants have taken over my lawn. This spring they came and did the first service even though I had not asked. When I called to complain I was told that their notices state that service will continue year to year unless expressly cancelled. I refused to pay the charge. No one who walked over my lawn would think that a simple spray would alleviate the current condition.

Our experience with them has been great.

Weed Pro provides excellent service. I have had several other lawn care companies before them and they are the best. My lawn always looks great and they come out between applications to spray for weeds if necessary and they are always willing to come out if I have a concern about something with my yard.

We are very happy with the results of Weed Pro's treatments. Grass looked pretty good throughout the season and we didn't have any major complaints. Technicians are very professional and will discuss and advise on any issues that occasionally concerned us.

They provided a great service as promised. Within weeks of requesting service on line, they came to our house and applied an application and it made our yard look great. Before they arrived, our yard looked embarrassing.

They are good. They are very reliable and dependable. I will use them again.

Called them and they sent an estimate that was done by satellite. Called and we made the arrangements for lawn and flower beds. Lawn was done immediately, but not the flower beds. I had weed killer, so I sprayed them. The wed killer was well on doing its' job when they came.

They did a tremendous job. The guy who put down the fertilizer was very knowledgeable about his work and has saved me a lot of time. I had 2 trees dying of leave disease. They were able to save them. They threw in a line application and bug spray service for free. They are great! I give them a triple A rating!

I have been using them for three years. I appreciate that they are a local company, and seem to pay a little bit more attention. They don't bill you for something that hasn't been approved. They ask if you are interested in additional services outside your program. They are very quick to respond if I have a question about something. They will send someone out to discuss it with me. They make an effort to coordinate it with my schedule.

So far I have been happy with them. They did do a very good job as far as making my front yard so much nicer. They seem professional and they show up pretty much when they say and they do all of that stuff. Right now I have a contract with them for the whole year to take care of the lawn and everything.

They are wonderful. The price varies depending on what I want them to do but it is reasonable. They call you before they come to let you know that they are coming. They talk with if you are at home about various situations in your yard that perhaps need to be attended to.

They are fine. I am going to use them again next year. They gave us discounts as well.

It was excellent and the price was reasonable.

To date, I have yet to hear from the company. I have since pursued another company who was able to give me an estimate and actually perform the services on my lawn. Although I’m disappointed in weed-pro’s response, they did do good work for me a few years ago.

Each time I have had to call them with a problem or a question, I have always had a prompt response. The problem was resolved.
