He did a good job.

We used Tom for 2 jobs. He fixed our kitchen light switches. Apparently, our home has a complicated system, and he had to call the manufacturer to get it fixed using their help on the phone. Nonetheless, it now works again. They installed lights in 3 ceiling fans. The fans were already wired. He just needed to take down the fans from the ceiling to get the job done (which my husband wasn't willing to do.) The lights work great. Tom was very accommodating and able to squeeze us in right away, the same day we called for the first job and within that week for the second job.

Tom and his assistant worked throughout the day and completed the job. Very professional, nice job. Returned with city inspector the following Monday. I'm keeping his card handy for any additional electrical needs in the future.

Tom was punctual, did a good job, and cleaned up well. The job was time consuming and took a couple of days. We are very satisfied with his work.

He was prompt, courteous and reasonably priced.

Conscientious describes Tom Jarus. Short of manpower, he nevertheless worked in 90+ degree heat to reconnect a broken 24 volt line to an outside lamp. I cannot recommend his firm too highly and would use him again.

I am so happy that I hired Tom Jarus. He was absolutely the best. It is my first house and I really had no idea what to do in regards to the old electricity. I met with two other company's before hiring Tom and felt uncomfortable with both of them. Tom was very friendly and gave an accurate and honest estimate. I am a girl who knows nothing about electricity and Tom explained everything to me every step of the way. I understood what he was doing and did not have any questions or concerns about his billing. Everything works perfectly, plus he cleaned up after he was done. I would definitely hire him again and will recommend him to everyone I know who needs an electrician.

I called on Wednesday, and Mr. Jarus, the owner, went to Home Depot, purchased the new doorbell and stopped by and replaced it that very afternoon. He was very pleasant and accommodating.

Tom either answers his phone directly or calls back within a short period of time. He got to the work as scheduled. We added a couple projects after he discovered some problems with wiring. He charges by the hour rather than the project, so I can't do a price comparison, but the cost seems comparable to other work we've had done. He seems to be very conscientious in his work. He came back after finishing to explain what he had done.

He answered my call & said he was on the other line. I gave him my number, but never heard back.

We have also used them at our home to hang a chandelier. The price for that was $400 -- but the foyer was a 2-stories high. We have used them only these 2 times, but they have been very professional and prompt when we have called them.

THEY DID A FEW OTHER THINGS FOR ME. THEY MOVED WIRES AROUND WHERE ANOTHER ELECTRICIAN HAD DONE POOR WORK. THEY WERE VERY NICE, VERY POLITE, AND DID A VERY NICE JOB FOR ME. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME, AND DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO. THEY LAID TARP OVER ALL THEIR WORK AREAS. THEY CHARGED ME BY THE HOUR AND THE COST WAS REASONABLE FOR EVERYTHING THEY DID. I HAD A FEW OTHER ESTIMATES THAT WERE HIGHER THAN THEIRS. THE OTHER COMPANIES GAVE ME ESTIMATES BY THE JOB, AND JARVUS'S BY THE HOUR WAS MUCH CHEAPER. I was very happy with them. They knew exactly what they were doing. Mr. Jarus and Mike were both here working on it. The workmanship was excellent. Everything was straight. They used floor coverings so they wouldn’t scratch the floor or get the carpet dirty. I highly recommend this company to members of Angie’s List. THEY DID A FEW OTHER THINGS FOR ME. TOM JARUS WAS EFFICIENT AND RESPONDED QUICKLY TO OUR TELEPHONE REQUEST FOR SERVICE. HE CHECKED BACK FREQUENTLY TO HELP DETERMINE THE ROOT CAUSE OF OUR PROBLEM. HIS PRICE WAS FAIR AND REASONABLE. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL HIM AGAIN WHEN WE NEED SERVICE.

TOM AND MIKE WERE PUNCTUAL, VERY POLITE, PROFESSIONAL AND REASONABLY PRICED. THEY DID A GREAT JOB IN A TIMELY FASHION AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. WOULD NOT HESITATE TO UTILIZE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN!

TOM WAS VERY POLITE AND RESPONSIVE. ANSWERS PHONE CALLS AND IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE DID A THOROUGH JOB INSPECTING THE HOUSE AND FAXED ME A SUMMARY AND ESTIMATE THAT NIGHT.

WE WERE VERY, VERY PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANY. A GOOD ELECTRICIAN IS HARD TO FIND, PARTICULARLY ONE THAT CALLS YOU BACK AND COMES WHEN HE SAYS HE WILL. MR. JARUS DID BOTH. HE'S A VERY NICE MAN, ALWAYS POLITE, CLEARLY KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING.

WOW. TOM AND MIKE DID A WONDERFUL JOB; THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, VERY NEAT (I THINK THEY LEFT THE PLACE CLEANER THAN WHEN THEY FOUND IT) AND WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY. OUR TIMELINE WAS FLEXIBLE, SO WE COULD ACCOMMODATE THEIR OTHER CLIENTS' JOBS (AND THEIR OTHER CLIENTS' EMERGENCIES). THIS ARRANGEMENT WORKED WELL FOR THEM AND US. THIS WAS A TIME/MATERIALS JOB, SO I APPRECIATED THE FINAL BREAKDOWN OF THE TOTAL HOURS AND COSTS FOR PARTS. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL TOM WHEN I REHAB MY KITCHEN.

IT WAS A DIFFICULT AND LENGTHY JOB AS MY HOUSE IS RATHER OLD. PRIOR TO CALLING TOM, I RECEIVED ANOTHER ESTIMATE THAT WAS ASTRONOMICAL. TOM'S ESTIMATE WAS FAR MORE REASONABLE. HE EVEN CHARGED ME 120.00 LESS THEN HIS ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND LEFT MY HOUSE SPOTLESS. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I HAVE USED THEM ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. I DON'T EVEN CONSIDER CONTACTING ANYONE ELSE WHEN WORK IS NEEDED. EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL CREW. VERY PLEASED.

THEY DISCOVERED A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ELECTRICAL SITUATION IN OUR CRAWL SPACE AND FIXED IT FOR US!
