Description of Work: I scheduled Superior Home Improvement (SHI) to clean my gutters ($99 Big Deal purchase) on 4/22/2015. When I returned home from work I immediately went to my upstairs windows to look down onto my gutters to see the finished work. To my surprise nothing was done, leaves and branches were still in my gutters. I then went to the front door and found SHI had left a Bid Proposal with the explanation that the 'Fine Print' stated that 'Steep roofs greater than 6/12 pitch can be cleaned for an additional fee.' First of all, there is no explanation of what a 6/12 pitch roof is and secondly, the additional fee was $250.00. Are you kidding me? A total of $349.00 to clean gutters!!!! I spoke to Mr. Mark Jordan of SHI and he stated that the Big Deal was for flat roofs and that the confusion in using the 6/12 pitch was caused by Angie's List. Whether it was Angie's List or SHI's fault for the confusion, I don't care. I do know that it should be cleared up so that other homeowners aren't given the disappointment and shock of not having their Big Deal purchase honored and being told that it can be honored...for an additional $250.00.
