Pro-Seal Asphalt Sealcoating

I have a long driveway, along with a separate short secondary parking strip area. It hadn't been maintained in years and had large cracks and actual holes where the asphalt had crumbled away in spots. I had obtained a few estimates and found while Jeff's wasn't the lowest, he was the only one who provided a diagram of the areas where extra work/attention needed done. It gave me a good understanding of what he felt were the priorities in repairing and sealing the driveway. Jeff did great work - it was a three day effort. He edged the driveway and did the patching first, then came out to apply two coats of sealant. He called each day to provide updates as to progress and what still needed to be done. The end result was great! The driveway looks great, and the edging was completed nicely. About half the driveway is outlined with stone, and there were no issues with splatters or mess. I appreciated Jeff staying in contact with me throughout this process, as we made minor driveway decisions along the way. He was professional and very easy to talk to. I would definitely use him again should the need arise!

Jeff owns the company and also works on the job. I think this is huge when you have concerns about some problems you want addressed and he's the one involved in fixing them. Very neat---- punctual----and wants to do it right. I would recommend him to anyone and definitely use him again

I had neglected my asphalt driveway for four years. I had hopes that eventually I would be able to replace it with concrete. Over the years, everything else became a priority (roof, furnace, etc.) and the driveway was beginning to deteriorate badly. One of the quotes for seal coating I received was from an Angie's List provider, told me the driveway so far gone, the only thing he could do was top-dress the entire driveway with asphalt . . ..it really was that bad. ProSeal came out and quoted the cost for sealing the driveway with two coats of sealer and filling the cracks in the driveway. He asked me if I'd like a quote to repair the crumbling asphalt by the garage door. Heck, yes! One of the reasons I wanted a concrete driveway was because an area by the garage door was crumbling. He assured me he could fix it and that it would last--it wouldn't crumble away. The driveway looks great! I no longer think I need a concrete driveway . . ..I'll use ProSeal over the next couple of years to get the driveway back to like-new condition. I'm very happy with the work.

Service was fantastic. Returned phone calls in very timely manner and the end result was exactly what he estimated. I will not consider any else for this type work. Extremely pleased.

Very good. He is very nice and prompt. I drove on the driveway too soon and he came and repaired for free. Two of my neighbors are also now using him and quite pleased!

My driveway is large and had cracks and pits and some damage near the sidewalk. I have had my driveway sealed every year. I have never been satisfied with the previous work. I guess the old saying, "You get what you pay for",applies here because, while it was expensive, my driveway looks fabulous. They did very detailed work, by hand. They fixed my problem areas and my driveway looks like new. They were also very attentive to the weather. They postponed the work because there was a chance of rain. They didn't want to gamble with the possibility of rain because it could damage the work. I appreciated the professionalism. I am very happy with the work and would recommend them to my friends.

Excellent service, and product! The patches are large and remain intact, and the drive looks beautiful. I've had other asphalt companies perform repair and sealing, all of which showed evidence of erosion within days of the service. After Pro-Seal treatment, not only does my drive look beautiful and sturdy, but the areas of repair remain solid and intact, with no evidence of wear or erosion. Pro-Seal quality craftsmanship is evident - their repairs are solid and of higher quality workmanship, than others have done before. In addition, phone calls were always returned promptly, and service and price performed exactly as estimated. I called Pro-Seal and Jeff came out to give me a bid. He always returned phone calls quickly, made an appointment and showed up on time. Jeff explained that all sealant need to have water added. He mixes his sealant at 80/20 which was higher than most companies. We agreed on a price and date. The day before he was to come Jeff called to confirm he would be out in the morning. He and his wife swept, cleaned, and spread the sealant. I could tell from other driveways that I have had sealed through the years that his sealant is a much thicker coat that most. He applied one coat early in the morning, and a second coat last thing that day. It is perfect. I would highly recommend Pro-Seal to anyone.

Everything was perfect including quotation, phone followup, and scheduling. Showed up as promised and on time.

I have used this company in the past. I called, scheduled the time for service and made arrangements for leaving the check because I would not be home. When I got home my driveway looked great.

Jeff and Martha are the real deal and a hardworking couple/team when it comes to an honest evaluation of your driveway and what needs to be done to maintain it properly. I share a double drive and a turnaround with my neighbors and could not get cooperation for several years in getting it seal coated, until I got new neighbors. The drive looked terrible with large cracks and very little black sealer left on it. Grass and moss was growing out of some of the larger cracks and some holes in the driveway. Jeff communicated very well on all aspects of the job with quick estimates, a detailed explanation of the work, and what he was doing that was different from other companies. The work was done on the scheduled day and in the timeframes agreed upon. Jeff and Martha worked tirelessly together in over 90 degree heat and, other than my insisting they stop for some lemonade, were extremely efficient and very careful with the asphalt sealer so there were no stains or splatters on my house or garage that abutted the work area. I was very impressed with the preparation of the driveway before receiving the sealer, All grass was removed, cracks were wirebroomed to remove loose gravel and debris, and then were cleaned with a blower resulting in about 10 pounds of loose material being removed.The coatings of asphalt that were put down were not sprayed on like some companies I have used in the past and didn't last very long. ProSeal put down two heavy coatings that were handworked with brooms and squeegees to really get into the cracks. I know that over time the larger cracks will open up again with normal expansion and contraction but I feel the work that was done will give me more years before I am faced with forking over the big bucks for a new driveway. My driveway now looks great and even though it was a little more costly, I feel like I got my money"s worth and so does my neighbor. Additionally, I have had several people comment on the work and the significant improvement in appearance so I have happily recommended them to call Proseal in the future. They were on time and turned a driveway that looked so bad we thought we have to replace it, into a driveway that looks brand new. The difference is astounding. I also appreciate the honesty. I asked if we should seal it every year and he said every other year should be more than enough. Great work and we will definitely use them again.

Jeff's communication was great, right from the first call and through the completion of the project. The quality of the work looks excellent. Our driveway was cracked severely from the past winter but it looks almost brand new now. Very, very happy with the work. It was a bit costly but the quality of repair warrants the price. Will definitely use Pro Seal again should we need more driveway repairs.

I learned about Pro Seal from Angie's List, where there were over 250 (as I recall) very positive reviews. Then: (a) from my initial phone conversation to arrange for a free estimate with Owner/Operator Jeff Williams, (b) through the estimate being given during a visit to my home by Jeff and his wife, Owner/Sales Manager Martha, and (3) their both coming and doing the aforementioned work, all aspects of my business with Jeff and Martha were, as noted above, at the A level. Their thirteen years of experience in owing Pro- Seal and doing this type of work shows through in the finished product, which is a newly sealed and protected driveway that looks great and will enhance the curb appeal of my home as I put it on the market in the near future.

They could not get to us in the fall of 2011 due to weather so they contacted us in the spring of 2012. The estimate stayed the same. They patched three spots and were honest that they could not guarantee the patches. But the patches are doing quite nicely over a year later. They showed up at the time they said and were very professional and explained all that they were doing. We will use them again.

Jeff Williams took my order over the phone. He remembered my driveway from the work he and his wife, Martha Williams did on it last year, so he could quote me a price right then. We had to wait several days for the Ohio weather to cooperate. Then Jeff called to say they'd be out if I'd be home. This husband and wife team work seamlessly together. It's a joy to have them sealcoat your driveway. Martha cleaned the driveway surface and cracks and removed weeds while Jeff got the sand and asphalt ready. Then he filled the cracks with sand and poured asphalt on the driveway. Martha started spreading the asphalt right away. After several hours to let the first coat dry while a maple tree dropped its seeds on the driveway. Jeff and Martha returned for a repeat of the process to complete the job. They worked like clockwork to get each coat down. I was happy to write them a check--they earned it! No wonder they won the Super Service Award again!

I called Jeff to schedule an estimate based on Angie's List reviews and he said he would be out within a couple of days. Well, it was actually the end of the week before he showed up and I was ready to call another company, but he did show up and give us an estimate. We discussed the cracks in the driveway (it is only 2 years old) and he said he would fill those (which added to the overall cost.) I explained that the company we had been using to seal the driveway was the one that installed it, and that I wasn't happy with the "rough" look it still had. Jeff explained that he used a thicker sealer which would take care of that issue. Based on what we had been paying to have the driveway sealed, Jeff's estimate was higher, but I thought it would be worth the increase to improve the look of the driveway. Jeff and his wife showed up as scheduled to do the sealing. They were very thorough in cleaning and edging the driveway. They work as a team to seal the driveway and you can tell by how well they work together that they have been doing it that way for some time. Unfortunately, in the end, the driveway ended up looking just about the same as what it did before sealing, so that was disappointing. The cracks reappeared soon after sealing as well. However, I think these issues are partly a result of the initial driveway installation and the only way to fix them is to totally replace the driveway again, sealing isn't enough. I did appreciate that the person that came and gave the estimate (Jeff) was the one who actually did the work - no subcontracting or seasonal workers. Overall the experience was what we expected and I would hire this company again.

Spoke with the owner on the phone. He was very helpful and informative. They showed up when they were supposed to and did a quality job. I waited later in the season than i would have liked to get this done but i'm very pleased i found Pro-Seal to do the job.

Jeff did great work from start to finish. He was very understanding when I left my car in the driveway by accident and he could not perform the work when we originally scheduled it. He rescheduled and was friendly and professional. He is highly recommended by us!

Very quick and friendly when receiving estimate. We were unable to afford the suggested two coat application and although he recommended it, he was fine with doing all that we could afford at this time. Scheduled to come out on Thursday or Friday, but that was delayed with rain. Delayed again on Saturday due to rain. He was prompt in calling to tell us that he would not be coming out those days due to weather. He was out on Sunday and did a great job. Quick and clean - everything looks great. We will be using him again in the future.

He does all the work and supplies all the sealant. They are always prompt and clean; no traces of sealant all over place.

My driveway is about 20 years old, so we have them come out yearly. They do an excellent job, and work around the customer. What I like best about them, is that they work around my schedule.

I have used Pro-Seal previously and was satisfied. They came as scheduled and did a good job.

The results were much better than I expected. This couple was always positive, friendly and professional. I woul recommend them to anyone with an asphalt driveway.
