We were looking into buying a bank-owned home as our first house. We had to work within a very tight schedule and Mr. Flinn was extremely accommodating. He was very personable and professional and allowed me to follow along while he was working and answered my many questions. While I declined to have an official inspection of the garage (which would have cost an additional fee), Mr. Flinn still spent the time to point out different aspects on it which could be improved. He emailed us a 21 page inspection report with pictures early the next morning.

This was our second go-around with a home inspection in one month. The first inspection was with a different company and we chose to pull out of contract on the home because so many issues came up. When we went into contract on a second home, we called the same inspector and hoped he would give us a minor discount on the cost, seeing as we just did business with him. two weeks prior. No such luck, and he rubbed us the wrong way.
This, as well as the great reviews on Angie's List, is why we decided to try Flinn Home Inspection Group instead. After the inspection, I am more than happy to add onto the positive reviews!
Christian was very responsive in setting up a time and confirming everything. He arrived early and did a thorough job. He encouraged us to ask questions and participate in the process with him, answering all of our questions and explaining everything on a level we could understand. Not only was he great at his job, he was friendly and personable as well.
He asked us at the beginning of the process why we chose him. We recounted the story about how we found him on Angie's List and our not-so-great experience with the previous inspector. At the end of the inspection, he gave us a discount and told us he'd give us the break our previous inspector hadn't.
We were so grateful and appreciated his thoughtfulness. I would recommend him without hesitation (even if he hadn't added in that little discount for us!)

Christian was great! He located each and every issue with this house - stuff that we never would have thought of. Gave us much more information for our purchase and things that should be remedied before purchase and things that can wait, and safety issues, such as trip hazards and non-working GFCI outlets. Will definitely recommend!

As soon as I went into contract on a townhouse in Hilliard, I started researching home inspectors. I contacted a few but Flinn Inspection Group stood out. I was impressed by Mr. Flinn's professionalism and quick response to my inquiry. He made himself available to do my condo inspection on short notice during this busy season for reputable home inspectors. I appreciated all the modes of communication used to confirm the transaction (phone, text, email).
On the day of the inspection, Mr. Flinn arrived promptly at the agreed upon time with all his equipment. Despite the setback of physically getting into the condo, I was again impressed by Mr. Flinn's professionalism and care and problem-solving skills. Great qualities to have in someone assigned to tell you if your home is safe or not! He was very thorough in explaining his process and encouraged questions. He even offered his fancy measuring tape for my use!
The entire inspection lasted about 2hrs. Mr. Flinn was very focused and professional, yet personable and very friendly. His determination to figure out the gas fireplace was fierce. It showed that he cared about doing the most thorough inspection which I appreciated. He even inspected the exterior, even though the association takes care of those repairs and maintenance. It was nice to know those findings. At the end of the inspection, he returned to the basement to inspect what damage if any all the plumbing testing he did upstairs caused. He also reviewed with me how to turn off the gas and water to the home.
I received the inspection report via email the following morning. Faster than I expected. It was extremely thorough with a list of items that need attention in the immediate and near future. It also included photos with points of concern highlighted. That provided great evidence in my remedy request to the sellers.
All in all, as a first-time homebuyer, I am extremely satisfied with the level of service provided. I would definitely hire Flinn Inspection Group again for my future home inspections! Thanks again, Christian!

He was prompt, professional and extremely thorough. The inspection lasted 3 1/2 hrs and included an explanation of all findings as well as things to look for and how to operate various items in the home.
I would positively use this company again and highly recommend them without hesitation.

We were very impressed with the job that Christian did on our new home. The inspection took almost 3 hours and he allowed my husband to follow and ask questions throughout. He had detailed knowledge of many systems and impressed my husband with his professionalism. We certainly would recomend him for anyone in our area needing an inspection.

This home inspection went very well, and provided my husband and I with all of the information we need to make an informed buying decision. Christian far exceeded our expectations based on previous home inspection experiences. He arrived at the home early to set up his equipment which allowed him to begin the inspection right when we arrived. He explained the whole process ahead of time, and also included us in the inspection process. He explained what he was doing, what he was looking for, and was happy to answer any questions we had. As I noted above, he was incredibly thorough, and had no problem crawling around in the dirty attic and crawl spaces to ensure all areas were inspected. He clearly possesses all the knowledge and skill necessary to perform a thorough inspection and provide a competent and reliable report for the client.

Very thorough detailed inspection report with pictures provided. At the completion of the inspection they took the time to demo the home and answer any questions I had. Appointment times were flexible and they were very attentive to deadlines. One of the better inspections I have received and will continually use them in the future.

I was in an awful bind. On Thursday, a carpet installer (not on Angie's List) did not show up to install carpet and padding in my daughter's condo. She was scheduled to move in on Saturday. I waited all day for the installers to show and they did not. I looked up names on Angie's List and started to call alphabetically. It was after 5 PM, so businesses were already closing. When I got Flinn Home Inspection Group (Christian Flinn) on the phone, he was nice, sympathetic, and assuring. He felt bad that I was treated that way by a co-professional. He said he needed to talk to his crew, but thought it was a do-able job. I was afraid to hang up the phone, but he assured me he would call me back. He did. He said he and his crew would be at the condo at 10 AM the next morning which was Friday morning. They showed up ready to work. They were 15 mins early and professional all the way. They surveyed the job. He could have taken advantage of my situation, but he did not. He gave me a fair price. The crew was friendly. The job was finished in a timely manner. My daughter moved in on Saturday as planned. I have no hesitation recommending Flinn Home Inspection Group to anyone in need of a home improvement job. I understand he has a complete crew for plumbing, electrical, building, remodeling, etc. I will keep this number in my file for future home improvement projects.
