My mother is elderly and is in the process of selling her home. As part of the conditions to sell, the buyers required termite remediation services. Jay, owner and president of 1st response management conducted a walk through of the property, did a wonderful job explaining how the remediation process would work and what would happen the day of the service. He was very friendly and took his time answering my mother's questions. On the day of the service, he made sure that my mother understood everything that was going to happen and provide her all final documents that are required for closing. I would definitely recommend this company!!! Thank you Jay!!

I have a warranty, but they were hardly worried about that. They wanted to ensure they exterminated all of them. They were great about taking care of the problem, and went above and beyond.

They were excellent. Jay the owner was able to come out the day of my initial phone call. They were polite and wonderful.

They have been fantastic. I live in a country, so, we are more apt to get bugs and things like that. We used to have big black ants and spiders. He only sprays once in the house and then what he does is that he actually goes from your gutter's down and coats the outside of your house in a coating, so, you don?t ever have to have any of those pesticide in your house. He sprays like he is washing down the house and we don?t have any bug at all now.

The day after the chemical spray ALL the insects were gone (aphids, spiders, flies, ladybugs, wasps, ants). We used to have tons of ants out front and our linden tree used to be a swarm of flies. After the spray they all picked up shop and went home. In addition our Linden wasn't attacked by Japanese beetles this season. I suspect this was due to the treatment. It was really quite amazing. Treatment is supposed to last ~ 90 days which should take us in to winter. Writing this report after approx 60 days I am seeing a few more insects around the house, but the majority are still gone. If you have issues with insects around your house or patio I would definitely recommend to give this treatment a try.

A squirrel was trapped on a holiday, we called the company and they sent someone right out to remove it to another county, in a humane way. The company was a pleasure to work with.

In the early hours of the morning I heard noises in the attic. It sounded like an amimal trying to move around. I looked on Angie's list and found Jay Neff owner of 1st Response Pest Management. I called first thing in the morning. The receptionist Emma took my concerns and said that I would be called after their last appointment. I was called @ 4pm and they were on the way. Mr. Neff came with another worker . They were very courteous. They looked in the attic and outside and found nothing that looked like an amimal was around. I was not charged for the visit. Mr. Neff said if I heard it again to call and he would return and set a trap to see if anything could be caught. I would definitely use their service if needed again.

A groundhog had his headquarters near the stream behind our house. "Chuck" had chewed on our house, dug a "vacation" burrow under our back porch and had started to dig under the adjacent patio causing pavers to collapse. Our first estimate, from another company, was rather high and they required payment upfront, and I wasn't comfortable with their policy of euthanizing all wild animals caught, regardless of the type of animal. I called 1st Response and they rearranged their schedule to come out to talk with me right away. They were very approachable and helpful with information. They provided an Angie's List discount and also were more than $100 less than the first company, and did not bill until the service was complete. I highly recommend 1st Response and would use them again for animal control/removal problems.

I called on Monday and Jay came out on Tuesday. He listened to the problem,checked the area in question and did a check for other activity around the house. He treated the problem and cleaned up the area. I will definitely use this company again.

They were very professional when I called to inquire about their services and they expained what would be done in detail. After they were finished at the house, they called me at work to let me know they were finished. They told me to call them back if I saw any bees within two days which I haven't. It also comes with a 60 day guarantee. I definitely would use them again!!

He provided the treatment and everything has been fine for four years. They also service my home three times per year. They are now coming back for follow up since I just saw one carpenter ant. ***Price reflects price of each treatment.

Fast, curtious service. We had quite a few ants around our home and especially around the cement pool deck and on our large deck. We could not sit out there with out an ant crawling up your leg etc. I finally called 1st response, as we were concerned not only for the nuisance but any structural damage the ants could be causing. We had someone out here within a day or two. They were very curtious and sprayed the perimeter of the house, deck and pool area (including the landscaping and up the sides of the house) That very evening we saw no ants! They told us that the majority of the ants were "pavement ants" which are pesty but do not cause any structural damage. After about two weeks I was seeing some black carpenter ants on the rear deck. I meant to call 1st Response and as it happened they called me to see if everything was all right, I told them about the ants on the deck, they came out within a day and re-treated the deck. I've not seen an ant since. The last treatment was two weeks ago. I just this morning received a call back from 1st Response checking in yet again to see that I was satisfied. I will surely use them for all of my pest control needs!

Great job. VERY professional. They are a smaller company than Orkin, so we are more important to them. Revisits took 4-5 days from request date, but not that big of a deal. I will pay to see them 3x a year and that's plenty for me.

Able to set a time within an hour. Other services could only provide a four hour window. Received a call the day before letting me know that they would arrive toward the end of the hour because of an emergency service at another location. Called ahead to tell me they were on the way. Professional and polite. Able to explain the signs that we had a bigger problem than originally thought. Able to answer other questions. Completed service for eliminating the mice. Explained future service to continue to stay pest free. Price was comparable or cheaper than other services.

They are very good and will do everything needed for you to be satisfied.

Jay was scheduled to arrived between 10:30 and 11:30 am. He called around 10:30 and said he would be at our home around 11:30 am (which is when he did arrive). He inspected the basement, first floor and exterior of our home. He sprayed the basement and exterior for spiders, ants and other insects.

They came and they did a great job, so we're having them do some other things too. They seemed very knowledgeable about what they were doing. They got the problem taken care of very quickly.

They set traps and even came out on a Saturday evening to remove a squirrel that was caught. They were very courteous and helpful. Very professional!

I called 1st Response after I found a nest of winged insects near the house. The illustrations on their website helped me identify the insects as ants rather than termites and Jay confirmed that when he stopped to inspect. After a few days' delay because of rain, we were able to schedule a time for them to return to spray the outside of the house, and that went without incident.

They were fast in responding to my call. They did a good job and we are satisfied with their work. They are knowledgeable and know just what chemical to use for what.

They applied chemicals to the inside and outside of the house and gave me instructions on how to prevent future infestations. At the time I was very happy, but then the ants showed up a week later. To be honest I did not vacuum daily like I was instructed, so it may have been my fault. The fleas have not come back which is why I called them.

1st Response sprayed over the Summer, however we were still having trouble with spiders. They were more than willing to come back out and spray again to take care of the problem, for no charge. They have also come out free of charge to take care of a nest of bees. So far I have been very impressed with their service.

They were great. We called them from vacation and they had a technician here in an hour. He was excellent. They are top-notch.
