1st Response Pest Management

On 6/4/18, Corey at 1st Response came to our home as a follow up to correct poor service that we initially received from another team member. Together, Lisa and Corey resolved the issue. Lisa provided exceptional service in the office with customer resolution, scheduling & billing. Corey provided professional and honest service at our home during the extermination. That is exactly what we expected when we called 1st Response. I strongly recommend 1st Response because they resolved our carpenter ant problem in just one follow up visit.

They explained what they were going to do and what I should expect during and after treatment. He explained the warranty period and listened to my concerns. This was the second time I have used their services and it won't be the last.

Jay came out the same day I called about our termite problem! We had hired his company before for yellow jackets. His employee took care of the underground nest for us safely and professionally. Then when I found a termite tunnel, I was so glad to be established with 1st Response. We purchased the Centricon system and Jay installed it. He took his time to answer all of my questions and do a thorough inspection. I will continue to use 1st Response! Very glad to support a local business, too.

Chris showed up on time, was very professional and knowledgeable. He understood the nature of the yellow jackets and was able to explain clearly what was happening. The first (and only) company to respond to our Sngie’s List call for help. And, 2st Response really delivered. I received a phone call in less than an hour of posting the request and an email confirming the $250 estimate to remove what turned out to be a monstrous hornet nest. Less than 24-hours of our call, the nest was removed. Fantastic service from receptionist to field tech! Very highly recommended!

They were on time. Did the agreed upon work. Let me know how long to keeps my pets confined to the bedroom. Collected the agreed upon price. I was happy with the service.

1st Response was truly the first to respond to our inquiry. They were timely, polite, efficient, punctual and knowledgeable. From the initial phone call to me after the inquiry to Sean who arrived promptly at our home. Sean reviewed the wood damage we had in our garage and explained throroughly and clearly why he did not think it is from termites (or any other insects). There was no charge for the inspection, which was a great benefit, and would be good reason to use this company if I had need to in the future. Couldn't have been happier with their service.

Chris arrived promptly at the appointed time. He asked what we had been seeing and where we had been seeing them. He suspected that these wasps had wintered over and that there wasn't a nest. He checked around the house, in the attic and up the chimney. He didn't find anything. After checking, he asked if we had other pest issues and I told him we get mice in the detached garage and ants coming around the addition door every summer. Then he gave me some options. He didn't try to pressure me to go one way or the other. He laid out the costs and then let me decide. I decided to do a one year quarterly treatment plan. Chris then did the first treatment, put bait traps in the garage and strips in the attic. They will email me with reminders and summaries of each visit and if I don't want to renew at the end of the year, no big deal.

They did a thorough inspection and placed some baited traps around the basement to identify if there was continued mice traffic. They were rather expensive, but very professional and helpful.

I cannot tell you how happy I was with the services of this company. I called and the owner came the same day when I explained that I was having guests for dinner the next day. He look around my home, explained everything and then took care of the ant problem. I highly recommend this company!
