1st Response Pest Management

The technician showed up (5 minutes early, good thing) walked through the house with me, and did a thorough inspection. He was very knowledgeable and informative. He explained what he was going to do and the products he was using. He also explained that the products were not instantaneous, but would work within a short time frame, and explained the company's policy of re-treatment (free) if the ants came back within 60 days.

We cancelled their visit, because we found other providers who could come sooner.

Service was prompt and professional. Treatment was explained thoroughly and performed in about an hour. Services were appropriately documented for all parties involved in the sale of our home.

I upgraded to the year service because it was beneficial to me with the special they had going on, he shared the information and saved me money, who doesn't like that? They promised to come out if I had any problems, I called a couple of times and they were so nice about it and timely-again who doesn't like that? Would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent. Arrived exactly on time, was very professional, polite, and knowledgable. I ended up taking a annual package instead of one time treatment after discussing my insect issues in depth.

I had tried everything you can buy at the store to get rid of the problem. When they came out, they said it could take more than one treatment, but only one treatment fixed our problem. They were great! While they were here they also took care of stink bugs. We got a service agreement with them last year. They said they would come out for free if the carpenter ants came back out. They called to see if we wanted to do another service agreement with them this year and we might because it was really nice especially to have the stink bugs taken care of. They made the process very easy and simple for us.

It went well. They had very good customer service. Things were good with them. I liked that I was dealing directly with the owner.

Honestly told me that the with the cold weather arriving that they would not survive must longer and he was right. They did not charge me for the visit.

We had box elder bugs in our wall at the end of fall. 3 or 4 would come in our house almost every day through the winter. In Feburary we called 1 st response pest control. They came out as soon as we called and sprayed the inside of our house.we started to see less of them but didn't stop altogether. We were told after they sprayed out side we would see a big difference. We were one of the first they sprayed this spring. Since then we haven't seen any in the house or outside. We were told that if we have any bug problems to call. So far we are very happy

It went pretty well. They are professional and friendly. They come out and do a thorough job and if they don’t and you call them with any issues, they come back out quickly and resolve any issues you might have. I don’t have any price comparisons.

They have been great. I pay quarterly. They did much better result wise than the last company we had. They have mostly been responsive. With regard to price, it was a little high. I had it for a year, and now I am moving. So I am finished with them.

They were professional enough that for 2014, we are a monthly client now. Very response to our needs and always will to schedule visits between applications if pests present themselves again.

I feel they've been friendly and attentive addressing all of our concerns. They wear shoe covers in the house and let us know what they've done and what they're doing. The woman answering the phone at the office is very informative and helpful. They come out promptly and come out when they say they will. They have all the equipment needed to do the job and they are well equipped. We've definitely seen a great improvement.

They didn't charge me the last time they were here to look at it.

I have purchased their Gold Program which is three visits per year and have been very pleased. The prior Company that I used was more expensive and I still had problems with ants, etc. Only once in the past three years have I needed an additional visit and it was taken care of promptly and effectively. They have always been courteous and professional. I would recommend to anyone looking for this type of service.

They were nice, very thorough, and made sure I did not have any pest. They reassured me of any concerns I may have had about any pest problems. They were trustworthy, and I was very impressed.

I called first thing on a Monday morning. Jay was able to come out later the same morning. Very courteous. He verified why I needed the inspection. He had some general questions about the house and then conducted his inspection. He prepared a report along with a National Pest Management Association Form that he told would also be required. I had everything I needed before he left the driveway. Very professional.

They did a thorough inspection of the basement and were very honest about what I needed and also what I didn't need. I would definitely have them in again should the need arise.

I called another service provider, left messages twice and never heard back. I called 1st response and the woman who answered the phone set up an appointment for someone to come right out. The service man came out as scheduled, was very professional. He looked at the burrow and recommended that they place some bait stations around my house. I have cats that go outdoors so wanted to be careful. He showed me the stations, the holes were way too small for a cat to go in, so I was reassured. He placed 4 stations and said he'd come back in 2 weeks to check them. 2 weeks later I had a card in my door that he'd been out. I e-mailed him to find out the results. He e-mailed me back that there had been some traffic and recommended I leave the stations in place. He agreed to come back out if I see any rodents or have any other problems. Good company to do business with.

On a Sunday afternoon, we heard the unmistakable sound of scratching metal that was coming through the wall. It was either a rodent or raccoon stuck in our chimney. We have a gas fireplace with a metal sleeve that is encased in wood and siding for the chimney. I called 1st Response and left a message since it was not a workday (Sunday) and a non-emergency. They returned my call early Monday morning and they sent someone out later that afternoon. Two guys came out. They were very friendly. I explained what the situation was. They checked the damper and looked inside the chimney. They did not find anything. Then they went outside spent a few minutes looking around and determined that it was likely that the animal was likely trapped in the casing of the chimney. It had either died or escaped since it stopped making any noise. Since they could not rip apart my chimney casing, and they could not find anything, they did not charge me for their house call. I am so impressed. They showed up when scheduled. They were completely professional and friendly. Since there was not really anything they could do, they did not charge me. If I ever need a pest control service, I would use them again in an instant. They were are professional and ethical.
