Excellent service - very professional and prompt. Solved my problem very quickly!!

We called and they sent someone out within a few hours. He inspected, gave us a price, but could not do the work that day because we were having some power washing done. Returned a few days later as promised, treated the premises, instructed us what to look for and invited us to call them again in 10-14 days to report whether we were continuing to see ants. Overall, a very positive experience.

Jay was very professional and informative, arrived on time within the arrival window. Will continue to use their services as needed.

Removed carpenter bees from our back deck. We were so pleased with their service that we purchased an annual contract. The exterminator arrived at the appointed time, and thoroughly explained the treatment. He also explained in great detail how the treatment would encourage the bees to move somewhere else.

They were quick to respond and were kind enough to follow up with us. They have great customer service! I would recommend them over Terminex, who never bothered to show up for our scheduled appointment.

I would probably have that service done this coming spring or fall. Everything comes up in between time, there's no cause for them to come back.

As far as I can tell, is went well. I was grateful the company honored my big deal voucher even though it was past the 6mo expiration date. We had our 2nd child between the time of purchase and the expiration date and that just swamped us! The company gets 5 starts for their customer service!

It always goes well with this company. They arrive promptly and have the best attitude. They don't try to sell unnecessary services.

These folks are good. Very professional and knowledgeable. Always on-time. Just the kind of service one would expect!! I have been with them for a couple of years and was happy to renew my annual service.

From my first contact with this company, everyone has been nice and very friendly. Secretary very personable and quick to schedule an appointment. Called the day before to remind me of the appointment. I called Friday afternoon, and they were here Wednesday afternoon. Jay is very personable and inspires confidence. Walked around the property, did not see termites, just ants. Explained treatment and service agreement.. Very happy with this company and will use them again.

Great. It did take a week for them to get out to us, but it is the busy season. Folks on the phone were awesome to deal with and gave a good idea before they arrived of what the cost would be and what services would be performed. They guarantee their work so I'm not worried about the ants returning once they are eliminated. I did sign a maintenance contract for service in spring summer and fall @ $150 per visit. But, that guarantees no bugs or they will return. Same sort of package would cost over $880 with Orkin (I had them out first.) The service techs were awesome...explained everything thoroughly. I really felt like I could trust them. I did not feel that way with Orkin. I felt they were more high pressure.

Second time we have used them. They are awesome. Chris is thorough and makes sure that we are well covered.

Jay did a great job, the team were very prompt and helpful and completed the job very thoroughly. Since the initial treatment we have had no problems at all in the house. When termites have been found in other areas of our yard, Jay has been very quick to come out and treat any small termite problems which have developed, as a result of having tree stumps and wooden structures on the property perimeter. There has never been any charge for extra services and we feel that we have had excellent value for money and long-term follow-up care. Highly recommended for termite treatment and control.

Truly Outstanding, honest, and ethical company. I called 1st Response Pest Management to come out to my house to give an estimate based on results of Termite damage found during a Home Inspection. The office workers were very pleasant and polite and responsive to my need to expedite getting an estimate. They even called the evening before the scheduled visit to remind me of the appointment. When the Worker arrived at the house, it turned out to be the CEO/President of the company who was very pleasant, well groomed, and very polite. He read the Home Inspection report then began an inspection of his own to find the damage to the house and for signs of pests. He and I could not find anything wrong with the property. He willingly called the Home Inspector to see if he could get more details but with no success. So, he provided me with a very reasonable price for treatment and thoroughly explained the process and the treatment details. But, not wanting to sell me his product if it was not needed or wanted, he proceeded to inspect the entire basement of the house and the outside perimeter of the house and still could not find any evidence of pests. He waited patiently while I contacted my Realtor and said that if I needed his company's service, they could provide the treatment that same week. The buyer's of the house conducted another Termite inspection that found NO evidence of damage or pests. 1st Response came out to give me an estimate for service and ended up saving me over $1000 by their extremely honest and ethical business practices. If I ever need a Pest Control company, I will not hesitate to schedule 1st Response Pest Management. It is no wonder that this company has earned numerous Angie's List Service Provider Awards. The inspector arrived in the time frame scheduled, performed the inspection, and provided the real estate report the next day. All of the staff was very professional and courteous. The inspection cost was a bit higher than other pest control companies for the same service.

Jay Neff, the owner of 1st Response, arrived on time (as usual) and proceeded to determine if mice had been feeding on the bait in my basement. Since the bait in some stations was completely gone and there were visible droppings, Jay suggested I might want to try something more aggressive, which could stop mice from entering my basement in the first place. I decide to try adding some outdoor bait stations to see if this stems my rodent problem. Jay also said he could spray around the perimeter of my house to prevent insects and spiders from setting up residence as well. I plan to add that service too. I have used 1st Response for several years and find Jay and his employees, Chris and Sean, to be prompt, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I am very pleased with them. They were at my home last year and they are good. I have a contract with them. They were quick. I will be calling them this week for treatment.

We have used 1st Response Pest Management for several years for a variety of different pest control needs. It has always been a very positive experience beginning with contacting Lisa at the office for scheduling to the on-site treatment with one of the many professionals. As an owner of a residential property business, we have relied on 1st Response to effectively solve our pest issues in a professional manner. They have always shown up for scheduled appointments and called with advance notification for us. It is important for us to make sure that pest control treatments are done in a manner that resolves the problem and is safe for our tenants and we feel that their services provide this for us.

They did a good job and I would use them again. Actually, it was one item and I ended up entering into a contract with them. I thought that the price is reasonable and they seemed to be conscientious. We’ll wait and see how well they control the ants and pest that I usually get in the spring. So far, I’m pleased with them. They would come out at least two or three times a year for standard spraying and control and anytime that I have any issues. They were on time. They were professional in what they did.

We had a problem since weather turned warm and so they came out and then in few days we didn't see anymore ants. Their response time was pretty quick. I think they were able to talk the next day, but I don't think the timing works for me so it was two days that was nice. I would absolutely use them again.

They were very prompt with the response and did follow-ups. There was a scheduled follow-up and when I called them much later after having noticed more mice droppings, they scheduled to come back again.

i would say this works but it dont either they are hiding very well in my old house or treaments just dont work in plaster houses they keep coming back

I called 1st Response on Wednesday and they fit me in for an appt to take care of our ant problem on Thursday. Shawn came out promptly at our appt time and did a thorough inspection of the infested areas. Shawn put gel down in the two rooms that had ants and now, just 24 hours later the ants are already few and far between. Thank you so much 1st Response! I will be calling for your services in the future.

1st Response is exceptional, from the office personnel to the techs! We have a disabled person in the home and it's imperative that pests be eradicated, as my brother can't feel them or get rid of them if they are on or around him. Prior to our first treatment even being scheduled, we noticed some ants in the house. 1st Response scheduled a tech to come out almost immediately. A very knowledgeable tech, Sean, not only treated the areas where we'd seen ants, but also areas where we'd had them before or were concerned we might get them. Sean explained how each kind of treatment (bait, sprays) worked so we would know what to expect. He listened to my concerns and took time to walk the house and grounds with me. This is our second year with 1st Response and we couldn't be more pleased!

They did an excellent job. It was very reasonable, considering what he did and the attention he took to the job. He came out and checked throughout the entire process. He gave me some good referrals as well.
