Chris was great. After a quick observation of the situation he explained my options in an easy to understand way. I made my choice and he treated the wasps. Two days later no wasps! Chris also was happy to educate me on other pests I was concerned I may get in the future. I highly recommend 1st response as they were punctual, efficient, professional, and have great customer service.

It was done efficiently and quickly. At my request he also did a walk around outside the house to make sure I didn't have Carpenter Ants or Bees.

I also signed up for his seasonal program. Excellent response by both Chris and Lisa, his staff. I am extremely bug phobic and so Chris was very patient with my over-reactive concerns.

Jay and Bobby were very personable and courteous. They clearly explained the process to rid our house of mice, inspected our attic and basement carefully and placed the bait boxes appropriately. I appreciated that they were careful to not track insulation into the house. We scheduled a follow up in two weeks to check on pest activity and reset the bait boxes, if necessary. At this time, I am very happy with my choice of provider and assume that we will shortly be rid of our mice problem.

The service contract covered two visits -- an initial one to set bait stations, and follow-up to refill and analyze where the mice seemed to be coming in. The two visits, and the 60 day guarantee, were the two reasons we chose 1st Response. Some estimates we got were less expensive, but only 1st Response included a follow-up. Everything went as promised. We saw the last signs of mice about one week after the bait stations were placed, which was pretty much the timing we were given. Follow-up happened today, two weeks after bait stations were placed. We were able to tell which stations were used the most and how we might prevent mice from entering in the future. I will absolutely use 1st Response again, and I would recommend them to anyone with a mouse issue.

We are still using them. It is quarterly service. We just had a mice issue. They just did not go away really quick and we are still having that issue.

I first contacted this provider in June to remove bees' nests from underneath my deck railings. Chris removed 8 nests and explained thoroughly what he was doing. In October, when having my furnace maintenance completed, the technician removed a pipe to clean a sensor and found a nest with active bees. He quickly replaced the pipe because he is allergic to bee stings. I contacted 1st Response, and they arranged to be here the following day to remove bees and nest. The owner, Jay, provided the service in October. The staff in the office are very professional and pleasant. Chris and Jay are very thorough and professional. I have elected to drop my current pest control company and engage this company because of their professionalism, promptness, and how they worked together with my heating and cooling company to resolve the problem with the bees.

The tech that they sent over was very friendly. He was prompt, courteous and explained in great detail what he was going to be doing. He was also very knowledgeable.

Jay arrived on time and was knowledgeable about the wasps. I also signed up for 3 treatments a year to keep insects out of the house and they did the first treatment immediately. It does seem to have greatly reduced the number of insects. Jay was very friendly and helpful and reassured me that they would come back to take care of any further problems as part of the yearly program. He was also very conscientious about giving me time to put my dogs out before they sprayed, covering a water dish on our deck and avoiding my vegetable garden.

Successful pests elimination.

I have used this company since I had problems with carpenter bees. The bees have not been back. I have a maintenance program with 1st Response now. If there are any issues, the company is quick to respond. I have been very happy with their services and pest management program. I would highly recommend 1st Response Pest management to anyone needing pest control.

Spoke with a knowledgeable person when I called in. Tech arrived on time, was professional, and the pesticide used appears to have worked. Did not try to sell me additional unnecessary products or treatments. Would use again.

I recently hired 1st Response Pest Management to remove two wasp nests from our home. Their scheduling person was extremely friendly and professional, and they sent someone out to fix the problem within a few days. They even offered to come back out for no additional charge if we found any additional nests within 30 days of service. Their technician was great. He called me to explain all of the steps that he took to remediate our problem. The wasps are gone, which is such a relief. 1st Response did an excellent job and I'd definitely hire them again.

Very professional and great work. Had some difficulty scheduling due to weather but they were upfront and honest about expectations. They came out again no questions asked when I needed a touch up. Very courteous. Would definitely recommend!

We have been using 1st Response for a few years as our pest control provider. They are extremely thorough and very professional. We rarely ever find any bugs in our home thanks to 1st Response.

The service tech, Shawn, came to inspect for carpenter ants that we had seen in the driveway and climbing up between the siding and house. We had sprayed immediately but wanted to make sure they hadn't nested in the house. He inspected the basement and found no evidence of them even though there were still a few wandering around outside. He treated around the house, garage and patio. He was very courteous, friendly and professional. We have seen none since.

Our ant problem was an ongoing nuisance for 5 years before we ever called 1st Response last year (2014) to deal with ants in our kitchen that were taking over....they were literally come out of the door jam! Based on a good experience of eradicating the ants then, we called 1st Response to come back later in the fall when the ants returned. This year, I called in early spring at the first sign of ants, and decided to enlist in a service contract with them for the year - to spray once in the Spring, Summer and then Fall. Ours is an ant problem that no one-time spray will ever solve, and I felt that the discounted rate to do the program made the most sense for us. This year has been the best year yet with hardly any sign of ants after the initial baiting in our kitchen and spraying in the Spring. About 2 months later, I noticed a few ants in a new area (bathroom) where we had never seen them before...not a ton, but enough that I called to consult with them. It was too early to have them come do my Summer round of spraying under my service contract, but they came out free of charge to put bait in the bathroom right away, as well as double-checked the bait locations in the kitchen, and sprayed lightly outside as well. Haven't seen an ant since, thank goodness! I have been extremely pleased with the level of service we've received on the multiple occasions 1st Response has come to our house the past 2 years. Its always easy to schedule an appointment, and everyone who has come out to the house has been very friendly and helpful, always cleaning up after themselves, fully explaining what they were doing, where they put bait, etc. On one occasion after spraying outside they realized they had left our fence gate open, and knew we had a dog, so they immediately called to warn me so I didn't let the dog out without knowing the gate was open. The peace of mind and quality of service I have consistently received is well worth the price I pay in my opinion, and knowing they stand behind their work and will come back to pour more bait for free shows how much they care about the quality of what they do. I'm thankful after all these years of dealing with ants on our own, that 1st Response has finally got the problem under control!

Jay was very professional and prompt to our appointment time. He did treat our Bees Nest that day, but also suggested treatment of our home with a program contract for Ants, Spiders, Millipedes, Centipedes, and other pests. I agreed to this program and in two days the job was completed. Our Bees Nest was so large and confined to a bathroom exhaust fan vent that another dusting application was needed on 8/11. This was completed without question in a very professional manner. And YES, we will use their services again, should the need arise.

Chris Brandt came out and performed an extremely detailed house and basement inspection. He found evidence of a carpenter ant nest in my basement crawl space. He sprayed and advise that quarterly inspections would be wise because carpenter ants can return. I was very impressed with Mr. Brandt's professionalism and his careful and detailaed house inspection.
