These guys were so great! We paid hundreds less than our other estimates and got amazing quality. Really nice to work with, cleaned up after themselves, and were very courteous. Our house is old so they brought a table saw and made what they needed to get a tight, solid fit. It looked way better than I thought it would. Very patient with tons of my questions (I like to know ALL my options before I make a decision)! I recommend them all the time and I'm sure I'll have them come back to do some miscellaneous work (if you need something done: walls put up, cabinets hung, etc. they do that too). Oh there was one scratch on our door right after installation so John was going to take $100 off the price, then we suggested he could put a kickplate on for free and that solved that. LOVE the doors!

Precsion did an excellent job installing the doors and cleaning up afterwards. Also, they were able to use the existing trim arround the interior of the front door :)

I have used Precision Building Service before and liked there quality of work. I wanted to get energy efficient french door to replace my older door. John also informed me that I would qualify for tax break if I get the door installed before December 31. After Thanksgiving John called me and informed me that the door was in. The weather turned nasty and cold and I wanted to hold off until the weather got little warmer. So, with some great luck we finally got the door installed on last day of December and qualified for the tax break. John as usual bent over backwards in getting the job done on last day of December. They might not be the cheapest, but I am very please with their professional and quality of workmanship. John and his crew always take great pride in their work and will never cut corners to do sloppy work.

There was a delay in getting the storm door and I don't really think it was Precision's problem. Real Property Management ordered the door and once it arrived Real Property decided they didn't want a sandstone colored door but rather a white door. The reason I rated a B for punctuality is because once the white door came in he called and said he would contact me on a Weds and said he would install it on Thurs or Fri but did not contact me then or the whole next week. He then called me on that next Monday and installed it that Thurs I have already recommended him to a neighbor.

The guys from Precision were excellent. Everyone was extremely kind & professional. The job was costly, but was only about half of the price compared to the other estimates we received. And the workmanship is superb. Their attention to detail impressed me and (from doing a great deal of work around the house myself) that is relatively rare in my experience. The installation process was very good. They worked all day & late into the night despite the freezing temperatures. Also, everyone we met from Precision was very courteous.

'Precision' is a good name for this company. They were very professional and to the point during the estimate process. The work was done quickly in a similarly professional manner. We've had the door for about 6 months now and it continues to work smoothly. It is an especially welcome change from the previous door now that that it has gotten so cold.

John, the owner, listened carefully to the problem I was having with water around the front door during a hard rainstorm, even to the point that it would leak into the basement beneath the door. He and his 2 workers (his son and son-in-law) worked hard in the hot sun, answered questions, and tried to show me what they were doing. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves. The work took a full day and part of the next morning. The best part is they solved my door problem.

They did everything right and showed up on time. They gave us an estimate and their level of craftsmanship was very high. Their price was quite reasonable. I would use them again if need be.

Mike and Elmer did an excellent job and paid a great deal of attention to detail. The cleanup was so good that you couldn't tell they had even been here. They were very professional and it was quite obvious that they take a great deal of pride in their work.

Looking back on how long the process took, I should have made the contact earlier in the year. Since the work was done in November there was cold weather to contend with. The only complaint I had was that the gentleman that came to do the work kept talking about another job he was working on and all the work her did for them and all the work they want him to do for them. This just made me feel that my job was less important or insignificant. The door is good. The product is sturdy, and the exterior door is wonderful.

John gave us a very competitive price. He also informed us about the tax credit available for energy efficient replacement doors (and windows) which we didn't know about. This enabled us to make a better choice and save some money (the other contractors we interviewed didn't mention it at all, perhaps because this government incentive was relatively new). John also made every effort to work with the contractor we hired to replace our deck. John and his workers, Mike (his son) and Elmer, did an excellent job. Their work showed high quality and attention to detail and they cleaned up after themselves. We couldn't be happier with the results. We highly recommend them.

They did a great job and were very professional. John was on time for our initial appointment and had samples of the various doors, glass, knobs, etc. He provided an estimate right away. Although I didn't place an order immediately, he stopped by again to help me select the appropriate finish for the door knobs and complete the paperwork. He then went out of his way to find knobs with this finish as it's not commonly available. Installation was scheduled 3-4 weeks later. The installation itself went well, and they answered all of my questions. Mike came back the next morning to finish up the job instead of rushing to complete the same day. He rekeyed the locks on an existing door to match the new doors and made sure I had enough keys. Overall, I have been very pleased.

Very well. Meticulous in construction, attention to detail and quality. The Eagle by Anderson door is a pleasant surprise in both quality and appearance. John, Mike and Elmer were punctual, courteous, and good at what they do. I highly recommend their services.

My experience with them was very good. The quality of the work was good. They were neat. They used good materials. I would recommend them and use them again.

The job went very well and exactly as planned. John was on time for the estimate and we discussed what I wanted and he looked at the kitchen doorway for the pocket door and the pantry and did his measurements. He then stopped by a few days later and gave me the estimate and contract. I signed it and he started a few days later. I got exactly what I wanted and exactly what was in the contract. He put down cardboard on my hardwood floors so he would not scratch them.

They did spectacular work! It was well worth the money. They arrived on time and they were clean. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

They were professional, courteous. We were comfortable with them in our home. The work was done in a timely fashion. They arrived on time. They didn't leave a mess.

I called and needed the project completed last minute. John came over later that day, gave me a quote and said they would start in the morning. It took two days to complete the work. They removed the whole door frame and replaced everything to the point that the new 81" door looks like it was the original. The workmanship is excellent and we are very pleased with the quality of the job. We asked John to get us some more quotes on two other door projects for the future.

John arrived at the appointment on time and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Together we selected the door, sidelites and glass inserts. John provided samples of the glass so we could make an informed choice. The custom made door was completed and arrived ahead of schedule. The company arrived right on time on the scheduled day for installation. The installers were knowledgeable, courteous, and extremely respectful of our property. They covered our hardwood floors with cardboard to protect them during the installation. They took extra care with the installation of the door and sidelites and installed the hardware that we had purchased from another supplier.

They did a great job and they are very efficient. They are perfectionists and I would highly recommend.

It was only 2 years old, and Pella sent the replacement parts, but the instructions weren't working, so John called Pella and stayed on the phone until he got the job done. The price was excellent, and he was very professional and answered all my questions. I called him again for an electrical job, since I was so happy with his work, but he said he doesn't do electrical.

Took care of city permits, etc. Their service was good and we would recommend them and use them again.

They arrived when they said they would. They made minor repairs to the existing framing without any additional charge. The job quality was excellent, as usual (this is the third door they have done for us). They finished on time and cleaned up after themselves.

Selected PBS based on Angie's List ranking. John Gingerich was punctual, polite, professional. His designates who did the installation were careful to explain that on our 100-year old home, the result would not be perfectly straight from every angle, either the door would be out of level to the walls, or the door could be aligned with the walls, but out of level to gravity. He sought our prior approval for each installation decision, including scrupulous mention of price, and whether the decision did or not change the estimate. Work was done on time and they cleaned up after the job. We are very happy, and love our new, smooth, silent, secure, attractive new entry. Price was better than two other estimates by over 20%.
