When the work was finally done it was done very professionally. Scheduling was a nightmare. They did not tell me that this is a job that they do not do every day and that rain could delay completion. So, scheduling a job where I needed to be home to give the workmen access and accomodating to my schedule was complicated. I have discussed this with their scheduling people and I hope that they have a better understanding of working at an occupied home as opposed to one under construction where access is not an issue.

They gave on date and came 1 full month earlier. Scheduler laughed about this. The driveway looks better. We were not happy with the sealer that was left on the side of our house. 2 men came out to check. The overseer argued about this. He left 2nd man to scrap off the mess. This man did some scrapping and then left w/o first checking in with us for our approval.

Scheduling my service was easy and the receptionist I spoke with on the phone was friendly and professional. The technician arrived within the specified window and performed the work without leaving a mess. The convenience of sending a check after service was performed was also nice.

The work was performed as scheduled. The application was done very neatly. Driveway looks very nice.

Our whole driveway needed redone and they did an AWESOME job!! They were on time and completed when they said!

I am listing my home for sale and needed to get the driveway seal coated. I contacted AmeriCoat because I have used them quite a few times in the past. In fact, they did that same driveway two summers ago. They originally wanted to schedule me two weeks out, but I needed it done before my house was listed, so I asked them if they could squeeze me in earlier. They said they could and scheduled service for five days before my listing date. Great! On the day they were supposed to arrive, they canceled due to threat of rain. I never ended up raining, but I understood and called them to ask to be rescheduled for the next day. They said they could squeeze me in the next day. Great! That still gives us plenty of time for it to dry before showing the house. The next day came and went. No AmeriCoat. The next morning I called them as soon as they opened to figure out what happened and to see if they could come out that day as we were getting to the point where the driveway would not have enough time to dry. The person who answered said they would speak to a manager and call me back. Forty five minutes later I heard nothing, so I called them back. They said the managers were in a meeting and they would call me back. An hour and fifteen minutes after that and still no call back. I called them again and they told me they could not come out that day. At this point I told them to forget it so I can call other companies to see if someone can come out right away. I gave them a bad review not because of them canceling due to weather. They can’t control that. I gave them a bad review because they were a no-show on the second appointment, they did not call me back after two hours of waiting, and most importantly did not do what they said they would do. I had a tight schedule and if they could not accommodate it, they should have told me so I could get another company to do the work. Instead, they did the worst possible thing in this situation. They wasted days of my time when I had no time to waste. That is not very professional and I will not be doing business with them in the future.

The technician showed up promptly and was very friendly. He edged around the driveway and blew off all the debris. He put on 2 coats since this was the first time it was sealed. He did a great job and the driveway looks wonderful!

There were no issues, they did a very good job.

I cancelled any plans with them to seal drive.

Absolutely horrible! They got sealant on my new white garage door and on concrete/sidewalk. 8/10/17- spoke w/Kayla and was told to email pictures to maria@americoat.com and she will return phone call within 48hrs. NO RETURN CALL 8/14/17-spoke with Kerry and was told Maria is on the other line but will have her contact you. NO RETURN CALL. 8/15/17-spoke with Shauntelle, explained to her that this was the THIRD TIME CALLING and was told Maria is in a meeting but will personally call me back with a date for repair service. NO RETURN CALL. Lack of professionalism is astounding. I'm a very reasonable person but this is absolutely unacceptable. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Done really well. Spent a lot of time fixing drainage issues. Very satisfied.

We've been using them for years. We find somebody good we stick with them.

With the exception of a weather delay, everything was done in a timely manner and we couldn't be happier with our driveway

Called them in April for an appointment. They said they could not come on my preferred date that I have to get the date that they gave me or I will lose the discount. They came on the first day and coat the driveway but instead of finishing the next day they said they would have to skip a day. Two young men on first day and another on the third day and they were terrific! and the job was neat. They technicians are good, it was their office who was not considerate. I'll give "A" rating for the technicians but "C" or "D" rating to their office.

The quality of work was good for the most part. They always gave a good discount each year. over the past few years, the quality of responsiveness and customer service has become extremely worse. This year has been the worst. I called them in early May and they scheduled a day in two weeks-the last day of May. I placed it on the calendar. When they didn't arrive, I called them and they told me it was a different-June 5th. OK. I waited on June 5th. They never showed. They sent me an email to my home computer. I didn't look at it until they told me. By the way, the approximated hold time for them on the telephone was 3-4 minutes. It was re-scheduled for today, June 22nd. It is now 4:22 PM and no show. I have tried to reach them on two separate occasions today and the average wait time on the phone was 10-12 minutes. If they happen to come today, I will accept the service but I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. They overbook, and they don't have enough employees to handle the load. Waste of time!!

We were scheduled to have our asphalt driveway repaired and sealed. They did tell us it was weather permitting which we understood. We received a confirmation email the night before confirming our reservation but it didn’t out like what time we might expect to see anyone. So around noon on the day of our appointment I sent a quick email just to see when we might expect to see someone but I never received a response. Around 4pm when yet no one had showed up, called or emailed me to let me know what was going on I made a call to them. The gentleman that answered the phone was rude and condescending. When I asked when to expect someone he told me that they had decided to pull the crews for the day because the radar was calling for possible rain which I again could have accepted if someone had called me to tell me that but I had to call them plus I work from home and it had not rained at all that day. When I told him it had not rained all day he told me “I know it might look like that mama”. What!? I know it does because I was home all day and saw that it didn’t rain. Then instead of apologizing for the inconvenience and poor customer services he just told me they would reschedule… for two weeks later. Not a day or two but two whole weeks. I couldn’t believe it. I understand your line of business is dependent on the weather so maybe you make a plan of business that allows for that and when issues like this come up you call your clients, let them know what is going on and push the appointment back a day or two. What would have happened in two weeks if it had rained that day? Would I have been scheduled another two weeks out and so one until the job was never completed? When I called back the next day to cancel my reschedule appointment I told the girl who answered the phone why and she did apologize but said “well I hope you find a company that calls you”. She completely missed my point. The lack of communication was a minor point. The major point was that they rescheduling me for two weeks later. So, we never had our driveway done by this company but based on the poor customer service I would never recommend them to anyone.

They ruined my driveway!!! (Actually left holes in it!) When I called to tell them, they claimed that it was not their fault. However the holes were not there before they applied the sealant to the driveway - and when I went out later - the holes where there. They sent someone out to look at it - he was rude, yelled at my daughter and me. Said he had made up his mind even before he came out. They would do nothing to fix it. Then they billed me for 2 coats (they had only applied one.). I emailed them and let them know that they had only done one coat and never finished the job. They sent me a second bill - this one saying it was for one coat and added $15 dollars more (Late charge)!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY -LOOK THEM UP ON THE INTERNET THEY HAVE MANY BAD REVIEWS! WISH I HAD LOOKED THEM UP FIRST!

My wife and I want to warn other people away from this company. We were considering replacing our asphalt driveway with cement but the americoat rep convinced us sealing it would work for a year before replacing it. So we decided to get the driveway sealed by americoat. When they didn't show up on the scheduled date that should have been the first warning. We called them towards the end of the day to ask where they were. They said our house had been rescheduled due to, "Rain". Mind you we had checked the weather forecast for the week. Sunny skies all around. When they did show up the next week they started on day 1. Since it was a two day process they were supposed to return day 2 for the second coat. Once again they no showed on day 2...3...and 4. No call to us we had to call them. Since I have a work vehicle in the garage at this point I am unable to get it out as they tell us they need to finish the job before vehicles can be driven on it. We asked why they had not come without calling. They said, "rain". Once again...we had checked the weather and there was no rain all week. So they finally get the job done over a week after the initial day. I walk up and down my driveway and see they somehow got 3-4 inches of the sealant into my lawn on each side and killed the grass. I was pretty steamed. Two weeks later the seal is completely cracked and coming off all over the driveway. We wrote an email and called them to complain. Never heard anything back. This year they emailed us and asked for our business. We wrote them back and said we would not be using them due to this experience. They said let us send a manager out to inspect and see what can be done. The manager came out a month ago. And we haven't heard from them since. This company never once apologized for the no show/no call, delay in completion, ruining the lawn, and failing to follow up. We will be getting our driveway replaced. But not by them.

Very well. They called when the weather prevented them from doing the work to ensure the re-schedule date they had in mind would work for me. I will definitely use them again.

One coat was applied, allowed to dry for several hours and they returned to put on the second coat. The crew was very professional and the price was half what we had previously paid. Give them a try. You will be very pleased. We will use again this year and have recommended them to neighbors.
