Naji was great! I had a complicated repair and he was determined to fix it and had such a great attitude about it. The price was very fair. I will call them again. They are awesome!

I called at 11AM, Naji said he would be there between 2-3PM, and he called and arrived 15 minutes early. He was extremely friendly, surveyed the problem quickly, offered a very good price, and conducted the work efficiently. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the work, and before departing, he also conducted a few other minor repairs as preventative maintenance to prolong the life of the door which is close to needing replaced. He came highly recommended, and I will also do the same in highly recommending him. As a matter of fact, he will be the one I call when it is time to install a new door.

Naji repaired the spring on our garage door over a year ago and did an excellent job. Today, I called, because I manually disconnected the drive chain on the door and could not get it reconnected. Naji stopped by (on a busy day) to fix it without pay. I tried to pay him, but he refused.... and asked me to submit a good review - which I was more than happy to do! He knows his subject, is professional, quick and very customer service oriented.

Great. Someone was sent out on the same day to replace my garage door opener with a brand new one. Install was quick and have had no issues since.

Called yesterday, discussed the problem. Service was provided next day within an one-hour window. Very professional, problem quickly found and solution offered; owner of company performed services. Highly recommended, personal and local services are turning out with higher quality than "big box" provided contractors. Definitely would hire again!

I called A1 back out because they replaced a spring in November and the door was making a strange (bad) noise. Naji was at my house in three hours, noticed the small repair that was needed, fixed it on the spot and when I asked him how much I owed him, he said, "It is a courtesy from me to you." Naji and A1 are TOP NOTCH!

We called A1 Garage Repair and they came out the same day; the technician diagnosed and fixed the issue, replacing the gear & sprocket assembly. The tech then adjusted the chain and drive system, and all was good; within an hour of him arriving, the garage door was working again, and we couldn't have been happier. He was able to fix the unit for a fraction of the cost of buying a new one, which made us quite happy.

I was having a problem with my garage door opener. Based on Angie’s List reviews I contacted A1 Garage repair. They arrived on time and diagnosed a faulty opener motor. After a quote for a new opener install I agreed. They had the new opener on their truck and had it installed in less than 90 minutes. Both Naji and Tracy were polite and professional. I would highly recommend them.

I want to say that I am not the best person to write reviews, but I felt that I should write a review for this company. Naji instructed me on how to fix my garage door opener over the phone! He was very helpful and saved me the potential cost of having someone come and fix it. It was a very simple fix and I will definitely call this company with any future garage door needs. Great. All working well. He had used replacement sensors and used these to repair one door. The opener is 20 yrs old but does not have heavy use. I liked that to didn’t need to purchase new parts.

When Naji and I spoke on the phone, he asked me some basic questions about the door, so he knew what was required. On the appointment day, he called before he came over to make sure I was home. He diagnosed the problem quickly, had the spare part on hand. He offered that we could think about it, and that he could come back, but we were ready to proceed for the cost. He replaced the broken gear and was on his way in under an hour. He was courteous, professional, and timely.

The technician came within 2 hours of me calling for help! He was confident he could fix it and gave me the price upfront which was reasonable. He fixed the garage door and switched the lasers and everything works great now. I was most impressed with how quickly they were able to come help me, I was worried my garage was going to be stuck in the open position for days but I didn't have to wait long at all!

He was fantastic. He was on time & he was service friendly. I would have him back if I have any problems with my garage door or I have to install a new opener. I would choose him over the original installer any day. I had it installed new a year ago and it was done incorrectly. He fixed it quickly and efficiently.

A1 scheduled the repair for Monday (since they did not have the part in stock on Saturday). We were able to survive with only one working garage door for a couple days until the replacement could be made. Work was done in about 30 minutes. The old spring was 18 years old so it seemed like a reasonable price to replace it - assuming it will last another 18 years.

We called Naji around 1:00 on a Saturday. He scheduled us for 5-7pm the same day, but was able to come sooner and arrived around 2:15. He tightened bolts on the door and realigned the wheels on the track. He gave us general pricing for a new door (which we need) as well. Naji was responsive, quick, friendly, and professional.

Experience was fantastic from start to finish. Very happy with professionalism all the way around. Kim answered my early phone call right away and gave me a 2 hour time frame for a same day appointment. I appreciated this since my garage door opener motor hummed loudly when plugged in and I could not properly lock the door. Naji called prior to coming and arrived punctually. After doing an assessment and recognizing my opener was likely very old, he recommended a replacement. Naji was willing to talk through the problem and was very honest with me. I appreciated his candid responses. After deciding to replace, he agreed to stay and complete the work immediately. I really appreciated this since I had taken off work to take care of the door. A nice quality Liftmaster opener was installed. The company had 3 options to choose from and he had some product available in his truck. Naji went above when he took the time to look at why I couldn't lock the door manually and explained how the door was set-up so that if I have an issue in the future, I'd be able to manually lock the door. Finally, he explained the product warranty and even their company service approach. His professionalism was exceptional. I would highly recommend to others and would absolutely use them in the future.

Naji was wonderful! Very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He replaced the safety eyes, cleaned out one of the overhead light sockets and got rid of a bunch of old, junky wiring. Garage door works great now and he was very reasonably priced. Definitely would hire again.

I called and they sent someone out the very same day to check out the garage door. The person who arrived to assess the situation was kind and courteous. He also found the problem quickly and was able to quote me the price of both a repair and a replacement. I decided to just get the system replaced since it was quite old already. I called the company back to let them know my decision and they sent someone out to replace the system the next day. The work appears to be done well and the person who installed the replacement was once again kind and courteous. I would recommend A1 Garage Repair to anyone.

Excellent, efficient work. Very tidy. Naji gave an appropriate estimate of his time of arrival and called when he was on his way, stating the time he would be there. He was punctual. He was very friendly and listened to my explanation of the problem and what we had tried on our own. He wound up using the replacement sensors that we had already purchased, and he used his own wire to re-wire the sensors to the garage door opener. He did not mind answering a few questions while he worked. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, and I will definitely hire him again if the need arises.
